Scam they have taken £9:99 with out me knowing I’ve tried to speak with them and they say that I set it up which I didn’t never even heard of them no refund

Attempt made to illegally withdraw money from account using a non-authorised DD mandate. Surely this is criminal?

Scammers !!! Be aware, took £20 from my account without consent. Contacted them for a refund. No chance as my membership does not cover that. Which membership? Never sign up on their website. Shall we complain to the trading standard about them and have them paying a fine, refund or close all together.
Be aware 100% scam.

Pity you cant give a zero rating, as like the hundreds of other negative reviews, they are a totally scam company fraudulently set up accounts in your name and fraudulently set up direct debits to fraudulently take money out of your bank account, watch out socialprotect you will have the publicity you deserve and it wont be good, national tv programmes, people will be warned

Total scam artists. They set up a direct without my knowledge and when I rang to cancel they talked to me with absolutely no respect. Rude doesn't even begin to describe the girl from customer services. Reporting them to the authorities.

Scam. When you apply for a loan, they take your details for there site, obviously without you knowing because it’s In a tiny print. You don’t have to of signed up with them. When you ring socialprotect all they’ll do is cancel your scammed subscription and be spoken to like rubbish. It’s better to go through your bank.

Was searching for a loan which I decided not to get so I did not finalise it. When I checked my e-mails they had contacted me saying I had set up an account and direct debit of £9.99/month for their service. I had no knowledge of this company or setting up an account. I believe they are hiding their name under a confusing "loan comparison site" which is actually a paid sign up to their service. Underhanded and a scam!

This company took £9.99 out of my account & somehow set up a direct debit. I have never heard of this company. Luckily my bank are full aware of this companies reputation and got my money returned

What a scammer u are just seen money went out from my account but do never even spoke with them ever

SCAM!!! Obviously, judging by everyone elses comments on here. Company took £9.99 out of my bank account which i didn't authorise. I emailed them and they said I'd signed up for it and couldn't have my money back. I did not sign up to anything at all.. BEWARE! seem to be doing this to a lot of people. Disgracefull!!!!

Got a £9.99p DD I did not authorise taken by this company yesterday. Spoke to my bank to be told that they have had a lot of people complain about this. And told who the money goes to - Anthony Stalsberg, via 'easicollect/social protect'. His address is listed as 1 Tebbit Mews, Winchcombe Street, Cheltenham, Glos., GL52 2NF. If you live in Cheltenham, go rattle his door. In the meantime, your bank should claim the money back. Don't bother with the FCA or any other authority. They won't do a thing. Just rattle his door.

This company I will make sure they will never do this to no one else I’m IT engineer will take them out completely and report them to the relevant authority

Also would give o stars I got an email thanking me for setting up a direct debit account with them which I had not done!!!
They even had my bank account details???

I would give zero stars if it was an option ! Have no knowledge of this company and had not signed up to it. Checked my bank account last night and £9.99 had been taken out ! Emailed them and confirmed my account (which I don’t have) is cancelled but I don’t qualify for a refund .

SCAM COMPANY DO NOT USE THEM.

A while ago i looked into taking out a loan, found a company through “social protect”. They took an original £0.14p from my account on the day. I went to the bank and had it sorted. I have today woken up to the company taking £9.99 from my account. Thieving bloody nincompoops. Not happy at all. I hope your company is caught out and you rot in prison for taking peoples money.

As per the other reviews, they have signed me up without my consent when i was searching for a loan. Luckily i saw the email and cancelled straight away so hopefully this means they can't touch my money!
