I discovered Social Tip around Christmas last year, and since then I’ve made over £1.2k from it.

I’ll be honest, I was skeptical at first. It sounded a bit too good to be true, so I figured the only way to know was to try it myself. I still remember my first brand, Dash. I bought the product like I normally would, but this time I filmed myself unboxing and trying it. I ended up earning around 3x what I spent, which completely surprised me.

Since then, Social Tip has become a genuine side hustle for me. I’ve been able to generate extra income from brands I already love and use, and I’ve also discovered new ones through the app that are now staples in my life, like PerfectTed and Sobe Burgers.

I’m mainly a food creator, but what I like is that it’s not limited to that. There are opportunities across tech, home, pets, beauty, fashion, and more, and they’re always adding new brands. It keeps things interesting and actually fun.

What makes it stand out for me is that the work feels recognised. As a Gold user, I’ve been able to enter competitions and receive extra bonuses just for participating, which adds another layer of earning potential. Between referrals, briefs, and regular content, there are constant opportunities to make money.

The process itself is simple. Within a 7-day rolling period, you can post up to 7 times on Instagram and 7 times on TikTok. Rewards usually come through within 48 hours or less, and you can easily withdraw straight to your bank account.

Genuinely, it feels like a bit of a hack. I’m already buying and trying products anyway, but now I’m essentially getting reimbursed and often making a profit on top. It’s turned something I was already doing into an income stream.

For a startup, it’s honestly impressive, and it still feels like early days. If you’re thinking about trying it, I’d say get involved now while it’s growing.

It has been such a game changer for me - after using for just a few months I’m now consistently making around £300 a month for content I’d already be posting on my socials anyway. It’s the dream side hustle! There are 100s of brands to work with, and new ones are added all the time, so there’s always fresh opportunities with both brands I already use and love, as well as new ones to explore! I’ve discovered loads of new brands through the app that I now actually use and enjoy.

I also love that it’s based on the quality of your content rather than follower count. It makes it feel much more inclusive and gives everyone a fair chance to earn. Payments are made within 2 day and withdrawing to your bank account is really easy! 💰

All I can say is I wish I started using it sooner. Couldn’t recommend Social Tip more!

I’ve been using Social Tip since June 2025, and it’s genuinely changed the way I approach my social media.
Before that, I was simply running my Instagram without earning anything from it. Since joining Social Tip, I’ve had the opportunity to connect with so many amazing brands that have honestly become some of my favourites. I get to use products I genuinely enjoy, share them with my audience, and earn rewards for doing so.
It doesn’t feel forced or transactional — it’s actually fun, natural, and rewarding at the same time. Being able to turn something I was already doing into an income stream has been incredible.
I’d highly recommend Social Tip to anyone looking to grow their social presence and start earning in a way that feels authentic.

Don't bother wasting your time.
This app started off great. Brands stayed on the platform, max tips were reasonable, no need for high follower counts and you got paid within 2 days. I made a decent amount of money on the app and have remained in their top 30 high earners ever since.

However in the last 2 months it has become completely unreliable. Brands come and go without warning, which leaves users spending money on brands to create content for, but by the time the product comes, these brands could be gone from the platform (I've been stung by this a few times). Brands also change their tips whenever they want, again without warning e.g. I posted content for a brand that had a max tip of £40 and in the 48 hours it takes to calculate my tip, the brands max tip dropped to £5 and according to their policy, they can only pay you the max tip which is available at the time your calculation concludes. So I wasted purchasing the product, time and effort producing the content, to receive a max tip of £5 which is nowhere near what the cost of the product was.

It has become clear that the app prioritizes bringing niche products to their platform (for whatever commission they get paid) and let brands come and go as they please, have no commitment to staying on the platform for any amount of time, no commitment to the amount of tips they pay the users and there is no protection offered to the content creators creating content for these brands who are getting their advertisements for next to nothing. The whole premise of this app is to connect brands with content creators for their marketing - now, it feels as though us content creators are being exploited by social tip and the brands using it.

Social tip needs to remember, without us content creators, there will be no reason for brands to use their app and in the various UGC communities I am apart of. Their reputation is going down as quickly as it rose. Do better!

I started using the app in February and was so impressed at first and was really happy with it and was able to get food rewards. However, they’ve obviously changed something so now it’s almost impossible to get a good reward. They offer tips for higher rewards but even when you follow the tips, they reward low amounts. They then offer feedback on your post so you can get a better reward next time- I followed all the tips and still get a low reward. It’s not a fair or consistent way to get rewards but I guess that’s to be expected based on the reputation of the owner… I’ve tried speaking to someone but they give the same ‘politician’ answers, not wanting to answer directly. It really isn’t worth spending all your time and effort (and money on a product) to be rewarded £1.60 for your content. It was good while it lasted.

Social tip is amazing, we have started earning some extra money and it adds up fast without you even thinking too much about it! Just using products i always have, difference is i’m sharing it with friends, and followers and earning £££! Can’t go wrong!!

So easy to use and excellent potential to earn money

A great brand that helps to introduce my family and I to new and interesting brands whilst also allowing me to earn money or contribute to my purchases! It’s easy and straightforward to engage with the brand- you simply post on your social media and you are rewarded for each post you do. The money then accumulates and you can withdraw it whenever you want!

The very best app. Over £1100 made is less than 9 months. It’s the side hustle you dream of.

I can’t fault social tip.

This app has changed the way you feel about posting on my page. I get paid for what a create by syncing it to the app with several clicks of a finger. The app has 100’s of brands you can work with, with everyday house hold brands, just keep hold of your receipts. Content, upload and tag, sync to app with a copy of the receipt and it’s done, now valid for up to 5 years after purchase.

I love using Social Tip and what’s great about it is its simplicity. You do not need to be an expert in any field. Authentic content is rewarded and the feedback is always useful.
I have been able to withdraw over £800 from simply being consistent.
I do find TikTok rewards significantly less and when brands move away from the app it would be handy to have a countdown!
Really looking forward to earning more with Social Tip and finessing my content so I reach gold member status which would be a complete game changer.
