We went with so windows and doors due to competitive pricing

We went with so windows and doors because the price was within a range we wanted to pay. The initial quote was done all
Online using photos. The initial survey was completed quickly. Following this and payment of deposit communication with the company was difficult , e mails were not responded too and it was difficult to get someone on the phone. After I signed the contracts they disappeared from the WhatsApp communications. I asked for copies to be sent but I did not receive them . Fortunately I had taken screenshots . My windows were due to be fitted in April but this date passed . Eventually I pinned a fitting date for late May but on the day the fitter was supposedly off sick . I eventually got a call from a fitter in slate June stating they were fitting the windows the next day . It took 2 days for the windows to be fitted . Overall I am pleased with the quality of the doors and windows and the fitters did a good job . The main issue with the company was communication and if this improves alongside customer care then they could be a viable company . The timescales and poor communication however negatively impacted the customer experience . If you want a company that delivers on time and offers good customer care I would advise not to use this company. If you happy to wait a long time for your windows and gave the time to try and communicate and plan and push to get your windows fitted then the good price they offer may be for you

This is a scam company

This is a scam company! I paid over £500 and it has been almost 4 months chasing them for my door. They keep giving me an excuse and I am now taking this matter to a court! Avoid them.

The most disturbing company I ever…

The most disturbing company I ever dealt with

Got new windows and door, however I asked for FENSA certificate and company refuses to send it

Called FENSA and the company can’t even register anything with FENSA AS THEY ARE SUSPENDED!!

Asked the company to give me a postal address and email address to make a formal complaint but the company refused to do this

Asked for the back of the contract to be sent as I only seen the front of it only (just a picture taken) again the company refused to do this

This is my second review of this company and so far this is just nightmare,
The company registered under Supply Windows Only LTD, call FENSA and they will confirm no jobs can be registered with them

Currently seeking legal action against them for breaking the contract and refusing to address any issues

I love my new door!

I love my new door!! Karen was so helpful with the colour in that I was going to go for a White door but she showed me the door in Agate Grey and I loved it! With the pretty glass too it’s so lovely. Thank you.

AVOID!

I got a great price for a new composite front door with Sodoors.

I submitted an interest and later that day someone got in touch with me via whatsapp.

Went through requirments and recieved a quote. Then payment options was discussed and lead times. I was told that if I paid the entire cost upfront then they can guarantee fitting by 04th June. So I got sent a link to send payment, which I did.

I then had to ask for recipt and for it to state that it must be fitted by 04th june.

I then tried to arrange some one to come out to survey.

First survey appt missed, then a few days later someone arrived un announced (lucky my wife was in)

I then attempted to book an installation date and was advised the door can not be made until the 05th of june (beyond guaranteed date). They said there was nothing they can do.

I then badgered to get the earliest fitting date and they actually arranged for 01st June PM appt. The 01st came round, my wife had took the afternoon of work, it got to about 3, so I messaged lauren (installation team) of a rough time. About 30 mins later she rang me to inform me that one member of the installation team had called in sick so they couldn't fit us in today. I accepted, then the install got pushed to the next day PM appt.

So my wife took another afternoon of work to wait in. Same detail. Got to about 3, I messaged lauren asking for a rough eta, she then rang me, saying aren't you away this week? I said no, you couldnt do yesterday due to sickness so we are booked in for today. She then tells me that the door is not scheduled to be delivered until the 05th. I then asked how that makes any sense, was the install who was meant to be installing yesterday going to turn uo empty handed? I said this is beaming red flags and I was starting to believe that this was a fraudulent company. I explained they have one last change to make an appt, if it dosent happen I will be going through my bank to request the money back.

Next appt was booked in for the 08th for 1030. Again, my wife took the day of work to accommodate. 1130 rolled by, no show, I rang lauren and she assured me they was on the way and they will ring me when an hour out. Time kept on passing, then eventually at 1715 they arrived. The installers appologised for being late and started work.

The installers where pleaseant and friendly. They further explained that they wouldnt be able to finish it today and will have to come back in the morning. We said that'd absolutely fine we are just glad its getting done. Abit weird, but i had to lend them my tools as they needed a grinder, and they needed a drill bit to complete the task. I was happy to help to get them done as quick as possible.

We have young kids and a dog so we was hiding in the lounge with the door shut to allow them to get it done without interruptions. We did hear a loud bang but didnt think anything of it. The installers did put a dust sheet down on our flooring. However after they had left, we was on the mission of putting the kids to bed. Around 2030 my wife noticed deep scratches in our laminate flooring, which cannot be polished out as they where deep. With this I took pictures and sent it to lauren.

When the installers got back in the morning, my wife told them about the scratches, and politely asked them to be a bit careful as it is new flooring. The installers did appologise.

Later that day lauren got back to me and said she will got someone to contact me.

Later that afternoon a guy called Tony rang me. I explained my whole experience with so doors, and he gave reasons why it has happened. We then spoke about the damage. And he claimed that he couldnt make out the scratches. He went on to say there is not much he can do. I replied, well you can pay to put the damaged caused right. This is when tonys attitude changed He then went on to say the installers said it wasent them and it must of been there before they arrived, I then replied "well thats utter bull shit" he then told me not to swear at him, I explained it wasent at him it was within the conversation and not towards him. The conversation then turned to, do i have any evidence of them actually doing the damage and I said I have the pictures. He said thats not evidence of them causing the damage. I said why would I lie, he then said we get it all the time. I then said dont tarnish me with the same brush I have no reason to make it up. Its not like im going to record the contractors. He then said my tone was aggressive and he dosent appricate being sworn at, I re explained I said "bull shit" in the context of the conversation, I didnt swear at him. He then said I warned you not to swear so im not speaking to you anymore. He said if I wanted to take it further I need to put it in writing.

Ive never wrote a review but feel people need to be warned about this company.

We are pleased that you were happy with the price of your new composite door and that you found our installation team pleasant and friendly and are very happy with your door.

However, we feel it is important to provide some context regarding your comments. Your order was installed 17 working days after confirmation, which was just two working days beyond our estimated three-week installation timeframe. While we appreciate that any delay can be frustrating, we do not accept that this constitutes the level of service described in your review or the rating.

We acknowledge that an installation appointment had to be rearranged due to unforeseen circumstances. For this, we have apologised.

Regarding the damage allegation, as with any claim, we are required to investigate the matter fairly before accepting liability. During our discussions, we explained that we could not determine from the photographs alone when or how the marks occurred and therefore needed further evidence before reaching a conclusion. This was not intended to dismiss your concerns. You have already confirmed that the fitters put a sheet down in the area they were working in.

We would also like to clarify that throughout several telephone conversations, members of our team were subjected to repeated profanity from you. On more than one occasion, our staff politely asked that the conversation remain respectful so they could continue assisting. Unfortunately, on the last occasion, that being 9 June 2026, when this continued, the call was brought to an end in accordance with our policy of protecting staff from abusive language, either in the general conversation or directed at staff, as you had previously done with Lauren. Due to your behaviour towards staff on the telephone, Lauren informed her Line Manager who then dealt with your call.

We are committed to treating all customers fairly and respectfully and expect the same courtesy in return. We remain willing to review any concerns submitted in writing and to consider any additional evidence provided.

We wish you all the best with your new door.

Sodoors is not responsive

I don’t have review since Sodoors representative Dani has done a disappearing act
I have phoned messaged and emailed but to no avail
I am left with no choice but too assume they no longer trade

I have e-mailed you 5/6 times since your reply on Trustpilot but I have received zero e-mails from in return
I am unable to send copies of my emails via trustpilot

I sent an email yesterday and no reply
I was a customer looking for a front door and side panel but not now

As per our email to you of 8/6/2026 11:35 we respectfully declined to deal with you as a potential customer due to this bogus review and the fact that Dani has been so helpful with you and her 15 emails to you and yet you're able to comment on Trustpilot efficiently but not via email to us and still no telephone number so we can assist you. Your review has been reported to TrustPilot, we have all of the emails sent to you in response to yours to as evidence. I think we have exhausted this issue now "Brian" so lets draw a line under it and move on. With best wishes going forward.

13/06/2026 Since my rebuke of Brian's false claims he has sent 5-6 emails since our response on TurstPilot, on 12/06/2026 miraculously, we received 3 emails, all of them blank, no content, BUT still no response to the email asking him for a contact number. Flagged this review to TrustPilot!!

11/06/2026 20:30 You have not emailed 5-6 times since our reply on here so please stop misleading on this platform. We have counted up your emails and you've sent 13 emails 29/05/2026 to 07/06/2026. Dani has responded to every email and some and sent a total of 15 emails to you plus 2 more from a colleague to inform you that Dani had been on emergency leave. The last email was to respectfully tell you that we do not wish to deal with you and you should seek your requirements from another company. Seeing as you are responding to us on TrustPilot, which again leads me to believe there is an ulterior motive at play here, and not via email or to give us your contact number, what are your intentions Brian, if, in fact that is your name! I think you are bogus and possibly a competitor, who cannot compete with us and this is some disingenuous exercise to compromise our credibility!

Update: As of 10/06/2026 you still haven't replied to communications. We can only assume that you are not a legitimate customer and have an ulterior motive for leaving such a derisory review.

Dani has responded to all of your emails. In fact, the last email she sent to you 3/6/2026 18:11 was to ask you for a contact number as the one you supplied was invalid. You have not responded to that and have instead left this factually incorrect review. So to say you were left with no choice but to leave this review is utterly untrue, you made a choice not to respond to Dani via email as this is the only means we have to communicate with you. You were emailed on Saturday to which you have also not responded to that either. So respectfully, please remove your misleading review and respond to Dani's email she sent to you. Thank you

Colin that installed the door did it beautifully and expertly. He was also such a lovely kind and helpful person i will always remember Colin. The door is lovely i am so pleased with it i highly recommend SO doors

Very Happy Excellent Workmanship

Had a door fitted today. Extremely happy with the outcome. From first ordering with Dani who was very helpful on us choosing the door we wanted and upon completion. The fitters explained every thing they were doing as they went.They were clean and tidy, great job Phil and Michael who were polite and cheerful. The price was excellent, real value for money. Would recommend.

Excellent service

When I first came across S.O. Doors, I was honestly very apprehensive because of the online reviews. I kept wondering whether choosing them would turn out to be a mistake — whether the delivery would happen properly, whether the fitters would be reliable, and whether the overall quality would be good.

The reason I was especially cautious is because I previously had a very bad experience with a well-known window company that replaced several windows in my house and completely butchered the job. After that experience, I was extremely nervous about trusting another company to replace my main door.

However, I still decided to go ahead with S.O. Doors because they were very cost-effective compared to other companies. I shared my own door design and requested several custom changes, and they were very accommodating throughout the process.

The door was manufactured, delivered, and fitted within around four weeks, which I was very happy with. The quality of the door itself is genuinely excellent, and the fitters did a very good job.

What impressed me even more was their after-sales support. After the installation, I realised that I had forgotten to request a long handle on the inside of the door. I contacted S.O. Doors afterwards, and they were extremely responsive and helpful in arranging and fitting the additional inside handle.

Overall, my experience with S.O. Doors has been excellent. The quality, responsiveness, pricing, and customer service were all very good. Based on my personal experience, I would absolutely recommend them. Honestly, I’m surprised by some of the negative reviews online because my experience was the complete opposite.

Black composite door fitted and…

I had a Black composite door fitted and it’s beautiful. The lady who helped me during the ordering was so helpful and patient and I’m so glad she suggested the Black Mourano glass as it really does make a difference. For the price too of £995 I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the door. Fitted well and on time. Saving up to get my rear door fitted by them too. Thank you
