Solar Power NI - an excellent company
Just had a Zappi Glo added to the Myenergi Solar Energy installation that Solar Power NI installed in August.
The Zappi now gives me much better compatibility and functionality compared to my previous EV Charger.
The whole Solar Power installation was handled promptly and professionally by Solar Power NI; they are an excellent company and I thoroughly recommend them.

Fantastic Company
Fantastic Company. From the very first enquiry, all staff were friendly, informative and efficient.
Both the workmen who installed the panels and the electrician who commissioned them where great workers. Very friendly and incredibly tidy.
The electrician even took the time to set up and explain the app to me so that I could see what the panels were producing.
The office staff were first rate and quick to contact.
I have already recommended solarpowerni to my family and friends to get solar panels installed.

Support Issues
Previously had great experience with this company. However their support service has been disappointing. I had a fault caused by a lightering strike on 26th June and still waiting on repair. Personell have been very helpful and pleasant, but they seem to have issues re shortage of in the field staff. Hopefully my issues will be resolved shortly.

The main delay was due to waiting for an engineer to attend your property and assess the damage. Once their report was completed, we then had to wait for payment to be released before we could process the order and move the repair forward.

Efficient and professional
From my initial enquiry, things moved quite quickly.
Any questions I had were swiftly answered. Once I'd decided what I required, the team worked professionally to get installation arranged. Panels initially installed and a few weeks later, the electricians turned up to install battery etc. I had hinen installed, one of the first to have it. On installation, an engineer from England was supervising the installation so the company's engineers were learning on the job. Everything went smoothly with a minimum amount of disruption, though i did have a few dump runs to do with boxes and packaging.
I was given a run down on the app - not being a techno geek, it was quite alot to take in initially but, with time and working through it, I am more at ease with it.
There's quite alot to organise after installation - setting up energy provider, building control inspection - and solarpowerni staff have been helpful in getting through that too.
I am confident that if I have any issues or I need clarification on anything in the future, that the staff will be there to assist.
So far, everything going well. Definitely recommend this company.

Quality Service - start to finish
Initial engagement was for advice and estimate and I had one of the Team out within a few days.
Was able to explain several options - I'd done some research and a fairly good idea of what I wanted but was surprised about things I hadn't come across before.
Design and quote arrived within a couple of days - very detailed - and we decided to proceed.
There were a few weather related delays due to the times of year and unsuitability for working on a roof - something to consider.
I was having panels fitted to two aspects, one of which was only accessible from the neighbours side. Feedback was that the guys were really polite, tidy and efficient.
Electrics were fitted over a couple of days. Really impressed with the job. Mine was all external but the cable runs are really tidy. Also some of the cabling went into a front room, under flooring, into the hall, and up into meter box - no cabling visible to the front of the house which I had expected.
Again really tidy work, nothing left behind. Guys helped me set up the apps and make sure I was connected.
Throughout, the head office team were in constant contact, staged payments were all handled securely and remotely. Provided the paperwork and guidance notes for getting the installation certified and registered for micro-generation (getting money back on energy you feed to network).
4 months on ... can see the significant savings. One of original drivers was to utilise some pension lump sum to add value to the property, not just longer term energy savings.
Highly Recommend the service provided by Solar Power NI. End-to-end straightforward and painless.
Also got a car charger installed at same time, although haven't made the switch yet.

We trusted Solar Power NI to install our system because of their longer experience in the field. Very pleased with installation of the 16 panels, 10Kw batteries, Eddi and Myenergi kit - great tidy workers. Takes a while to get used to the app and understand the functions and maybe a bit more information on this at time of installation would have been useful. However, the real test of a company is when there is an issue and as soon as this was brought to the attention of Stephen and Liam, they provided a great listening ear and got the matter resolved. So credit for that. This week the whole house is 99% green! They have also checked in with us twice since to ensure that all is working correctly. I would certainly recommend solar energy and would trust this company, from our experience.

I had a solar system installed in 2020 and recently a problem arose with the infrastructure and some element of the system. Solar Power NI upheld their commitments and guarantees provided, at the outset, and are replacing and repairing that part of the system at no cost to me. They have been professional, courteous and prompt in reacting to the matter from when once reported. Professional on installation but professional in after care service too.

Quality installation from a professional and trustworthy team
I had 16 panels, inverter, battery and eddie system for heating the hot water fitted in June and already seeing the cost savings, even on some cloudy days!
From quoting to handover, the entire team were friendly and professional, plus the quality of the installation was spot on with clear information around the process and getting setup.
