In all honesty I cannot praise 'SONGBAY' highly enough. When you finish reading this review you will probably think it's my son's company, not so, but I'd be very proud of him if he was the owner! and I am not being paid for this review either. I just want people like myself to reap the benefits of being a part of their community. I am absolutely staggered that the 'SONGBAY' team are able to deliver their excellent service for their, in my opinion, beyond fair membership fee!!!!  I am not technically minded at all, but found that setting up my profile page was a doddle and I'm very proud of it!. Once I had to contact them and it wasn't anything to do with my membership with them, It was about registering on 'Twitter' but they couldn't have been more approachable, friendly or helpful. They advise you to be on Twitter so they are able to plug your songs/lyrics there for you. They state that if you need to contact them you'll get a response within 24 hours, but It's always been much sooner in my experience.They deduct no commission from any sales you may be fortunate enough to obtain, be it downloads, licensing or even copyright! Lyricists as well as Songwriters are catered for, which is very unusual to say the least. There's a messaging service and you can contact people to ask if they would like to collaborate for instance. There's a new service too that they are offering now, music to Lyrics, again more than reasonably priced, and very useful for lyricists who haven't yet had the opportunity of hearing their lyrics after the music has breathed life into them. I know how frustrating waiting for that to happen can be. It's such a wonderful feeling when it comes to fruition. Any writer knows exactly what I mean . I have been a member of almost every music promotion site over the years, but I have never had such value for my money. Please check 'SONGBAY' out, not for my sake, but for your own. I promise you, you won't regret it I am not a robot lol, I am a real person, by the name of Kathleen Wildman with no connection whatsoever to the site, other than being a member, a Songwriter with my songs on 'SONGBAY'. I have been collaborating with Songbay in turning my best lyric into a fully composed song. The team at Songbay have been excellent. Their guidance is valuable and not pushy, the communication and mutual understanding has been excellent. The finished composition is just so much better than I imagined - they made my lyric sing. I will continue to collaborate with them on more projects.

I was a seller.
Their conditions are fair to the artist, but I haven't sold anything. I had 7 pieces of music up.

(Edit: I never sold anything, but I were only selling instrumentals and the site seems catered to songwriters. Something sketchy though is that the subscription prices are in USD and when you go to pay it changes to Pounds.)

I have purchased two lyrics and and song from Songbay. On each occasion, the staff were super helpful- they clearly know their stuff! Would recommend to all. Tack så mycket från Stockholm! :)
