I now write this review for musicians and artists of music who work day and night to create and share with the world, and JUST WANT A FAIR PLACE TO DO SO.
Yes, I am now giving SongCast a GOOD review based on the true fact that their automated capture of funds based on monthly DUES to keep casted songs ACTIVE on platforms.....WORKS. I believe that ANY distribution company releasing new music US/WORLDWIDE in the year 2021, should have an artist-support phone line (not BOT) and should NEVER HAVE THE POWER OR RIGHT TO EVER REMOVE AN ARTISTS SONGS OR CATALOG BASED ON THEIR OWN MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION CRAP.
LOOK, if a contract-based advance of publishing or record label etc. has rights and some motivation for the success of an artist in 2021 and THEY don't go out removing cds from store shelves and hold ransom for its removal to public....NEITHER SHOULD DIGITAL DISTRIBUTION PLATFORMS, who are just that.....platforms. Platforms= 1, 2, or possibly 3 actual humans with desktops/laptops, preying on ANY artist that remains uneducated in the business.
Promises and tasks that an artist can do alone without getting taken. Legitimate distribution NEVER removes your tracks or catalog. PAYOUT reports are not something to give kudos for, this is the artists RIGHT...and my math for 1 SONG on SPOTIFY AN APPLEMUSIC for a year with SONGCAST..($40+) WILL IN FACT COST THE ARTIST MONTHLY PAY TO PLAY HOSTING- WITH REMOVAL THREATS FOR NON PAYMENT OF MONTHLY CHARGES. SongCast so far has kept my release GENERATION X active, hence I up my rating to 3 stars. VERIFIED ARTIST REVIEW/NebiLacK.....CLAIM YOUR ARTIST NAME AND PROFILE ON PLATFORMS YOURSELF...CAUSE ANALYTICS ARE BEING MANIPULATED IN 2021. FACT.

Great distribution deals and a great and easy process of uploading

Very good coverage of streaming services.
I didn't really experience any problems on this distributor.
Only bad thing is stats are premium, and pandora needs extra distribution.
Other than this everything worked like a dream.

Been using Songcast Music since 2013, the level of professionalism and dedication shown by their team, can hardly be matched by any music distribution company out there.

In the past 8 years, seldom have they forgotten to upload the sales and royalty report on the 20th day of a month.

Here comes the best part, unlike the so called 'big players', they never withhold royalties.

Month after month, year after year, royalties have always hit my bank account within 2 days of initiating a withdrawal, no questions asked, ever!

They have recently added royalties from YouTube, Facebook and Instagram, which have almost tripled my earnings.

If you are an Indie musician looking for exposure and proper income, Songcast is the place to be.

So far it has been a good relationship. Its just that I am yet to really see the benefits of joining Songcast.
