This company service my solar panels at the end of last year and the beginning of this year they must be one of the best companies in the Southeast for doing this type of work. I must say that I have got no issues in recommending them to anybody for this type of work. I think it was first class.

Professional and courteous
I had my solar panel system installed by SESE in July 2024 and have been impressed with the performance of the panels ever since. They were helpful and professional throughout the install and handover stages, and I will definitely be using them in the future when I plan to expand my system.

Silly price quote
I will avoid like the plague. They quoted me £300 Inc vat to clean my seven ‘as new’ solar panels on my ground floor terrace roof. Very easily accessible. I queried it with them, to no avail.

We work from a set schedule of rates to ensure our pricing is fair and consistent for all customers. We carry out multiple cleans a week for very satisfied customers using these rates. If they are too expensive for you, then you are of course within your rights to decline our services and seek assistance elsewhere, but to leave a bad review based on our price seems a little unjust.
We pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional service for our customers, supported by our 5 star rating on Google and 9.9/10 rating on Checkatrade, and our prices are indicative of the quality of work we produce for new and repeat customers.
All the best with getting your panels cleaned though and we hope you find a more suitable quote within your budget.
Installed a battery through the local…
Installed a battery through the local authority sponsored Solar Together scheme. However the second engineer that came to commission the system and instal the last part and could not get it working.
They are now waiting for a part ( no timescale given and I had to chase them) and only couple of hours later their accounts dept chased me for payment.
Needless to say no payment being made until the work is actually complete.
Not a great experience so far
Update 6 March - after a couple of teething problems we got there in the end. The firm was responsive and proactive to get the issues fixed and kept a check on the system remotely to make sure all was working as it should.

Apologies for the experience provided. Having reviewed your individual situation, it seems there was a mis-communication which is why you were chased for payment before the work was completed. This is not our usual process and we will only ask for payment when the work is completed.
Thank you for highlighting this though. We value all feedback and will use it as a way to review our internal processes to ensure we continue to provide an exceptional service to our customers.
I can see the works are now completed and I hope you are happy with the final installation.
This is a terrible company
This is a terrible company. They installed our solar panels, inverter and battery just two years ago. At the time we thought we were happy and referred four people to them who all had their systems installed by them, so they made a lot of money from us (with no incentives referral fees to us). Now after only two years there is a fault with our inverter. It is not something we've done, just some kind of glitch. It could be an installation error. They want to charge us £250 call out fee to come and look... and hopefully repair. This is outrageous. They have said that the fault isn't covered under the product warrantee or their after care agreement. Absolutely no customer care consideration. I would steer very far clear of this company. CHOOSE SOMEONE ELSE!

Thank you for providing your feedback and we are sorry to hear you are not happy. The fault with your system however is due to an issue with your inverter, which you are covered for under the terms of the warranty. The warranty for the unit is with the manufacturer though and not us as the installer. Technically you are the owner of the inverter and therefore we are within our rights to ask you to handle the warranty claim yourself. Despite this, we have spoken to the manufacturer on your behalf and agreed a replacement unit for you. The process however is that someone would need to come out and remove your current inverter, send it back to the manufacturer and wait for them to send out a replacement. At this point, someone would need to return again to fit the new inverter. This process is quite lengthy so to speed matters up, we were willing to pay for a new unit on your behalf and handle the whole warranty claim for you. Unfortunately your manufacturer warranty does not cover you for the cost to come out and the labour involved to replace the unit, which is what the charge quoted is for. We understand you are unhappy to pay this charge, but as you can appreciate there is a lot of work involved in arranging the warranty claim and returning to replace the unit. We are prepared to go above and beyond by paying for a whole new unit on your behalf and claiming that back from the manufacturer, rather then someone removing the current inverter and leaving you weeks without a working system while the new one is sent out. Again, we apologise that you feel let down by our service and are not happy with the price quoted to manage and resolve your warranty claim.
