This is a very thorough and well executed course. Not inexpensive but well worth the cost. You don't know what you don't know and this course cover all aspects of a move to Spain.

There is so much to the process that you'll never figure out on your own, just by Googling and asking questions on social media. Totally worth the money, especially if you take advantage of the discount for paying upfront. So glad I did this.

I was in the Move to Spain Masterclass in Spring of this year. I can't recommend this course enough for people considering a move to Spain. There's absolutely NO FLUFF in this course - just comprehensively laid out modules that give you all of the information you need and want to know about how to plan out a move to Spain.

James Blick is very professional, dedicated and helpful, personally answering most queries in the group chats. He is all substance and no fluff.

When I was looking at my options I noticed others out there offering courses on moving to Spain - many of them are influencers who have an excessive focus on themselves and offer VIP "pay to meet me" events with the hook of getting to make friends with these cool people who are living the dream life abroad etc...

The Move to Spain Masterclass was refreshingly free of any of this fluff. However I don't mean to say there isn't networking done with the students - we absolutely have had meetups in Spain and outside of Spain to connect with each other! That is a part of the value of the course, but it had not a whiff of influencer personality crap in it. Mr. Blick is serious about helping people and genuine in his attention to detail and to helping you get on course to move to Spain no matter what your timeline is (3 months, 6 months, a year, 2 years out). Can't recommend this course enough if you're serious about planning a move to Spain.

I can't imagine moving to Spain without the support, resources, encouragement and community I got from this program. I am a planner and researcher so figured I could probably do this on my own. But working with James and meeting all his experts, as well as the alumns and other participants, has dramatically increased my confidence that I can do this as a single female.

The six modules of First Steps to Spain are a good way to get your facts right about moving to Spain. Each presentation gives you enough details to make an informed decision about how realistic your plan to move is. There are a variety of resources to help you delve deeper, including valuable insights into real life experiences. Having gone through this course left me much more confident that I was on the right track and identified the challenges that I will meet after the move. I highly recommend this course.

Honestly, the Masterclass just made everything easier in that it did most of the heavy lifting, providing us with a complete coverage of topics and resources. It's my safety blanket, per se, knowing that I'll always be able to go to James' team to ask questions, as well as our immense community! The community we are building of like-minded (in terms of Spanish relocation!) and supportive individuals has been the most incredible value delivered thus far! Unfortunately, I am not comfortable doing a video, but I am happy to share our experience here.

My wife and I are currently in the planning stage of our move, which is scheduled for November 24 of this year. Like many others, we initially felt overwhelmed. We watched countless videos and read numerous articles, to the point where much of the information began to blur together. The Masterclass, however, organizes everything in a clear and structured way, allowing you to absorb the process step by step.

We were planning to move to Spain and discovered the Spain Revealed Move to Spain Masterclass. The class went in-depth on the process and as we learned more, we opted not to move full-time to Spain, and instead are spending ~90 out of 180 days doing the “Schengen Shuffle”. But - the resources from the class have been so helpful not just in the decision-making, but in getting ourselves set up even in a temporary way. We are staying in a Stepping Stones rental in Ruzafa, Valencia for 3 months and it’s great! We have already met up with 2 couples based on outreach through the Masterclass alum Facebook group.

I took the Spain Revealed course in 2024 (cohort 9) when my husband was applying for Spanish citizenship (thanks to his Asturian grandfather). We were dreaming of moving to Spain but had no idea how. This course saved us lots of time, money and stress. James gave us a detailed overview of all our options in an interesting and entertaining format, including webinars of experts (health insurance, investments, immigration, tax and real estate) in which we could ask individual questions. I am rather low tech and the class was easy to access online as is the alumni Telegram. James taught us exactly what documents we needed to obtain before going to Spain, all the bureaucratic steps needed to get residency, tips on how to find housing through Idealista, and an understanding of the very different Spanish tax system. I especially liked the class on the different cities and regions where we might want to live. With all this info we were confident enough to sell our house and move to Santander, Cantabria in Northern Spain in July of 2025. I was able to get my 5 year spousal residency in 6 month, now have free public health care and can apply for citizenship in July 2026. This course saved us capital gains tax, immigration worries and rental mistakes. I still review the course as James alerts us of updates, and he answers emails. He really enjoys helping people move to Spain and thrive. I highly recommend this course. It’s well worth the cost.
