My contact with their "customer service" dept. has been through email. I was first offered a 20% refund, then a 30% refund. He said I could return it, but then I'd have to pay for the shipping, plus a $5 restocking fee.
He finally responded with an address to return this item, and I'm hoping I actually see a refund when they get it back.

Hopefully, this review will save someone else the bad experience my mom and I suffered at the hands of Spark Tek / Straight Commerce. It was pretty awful on any number of levels.
My mom wanted to buy me a nice Christmas gift this past holiday and ran across Spark Tek's ad for the MitiCast Video Projector. The ad touted all the features common to any video projector -- crystal clear picture, HD image quality, easy set-up, widescreen viewing on your wall or ceiling -- AND that it was superior to copycat products offered on Amazon and other online sellers. The price for this gem of superiority in video projection was (on sale, no less!) $149 plus tax and shipping!! All in, my mom spent about $179, believing that this projector would make a special present for me, and without realizing that this projector (yes, this exact same projector, only with different branding) could indeed be gotten through other online vendors for under $50! As if this wasn't bad enough, she placed the order at the end of November, and it didn't arrive until December 30th, I'm guessing because it was drop-shipped to us from some vendor in China.
Now to the red meat of my review. I used this projector a grand total of about eight times over a two month period before it died -- no power, no light, no anything. I checked the power cord, I checked the remote's batteries, I even checked the circuit breaker going to the room the projector was in. The "superior" MitiCast projector had just completely stopped working, and just thirty days past the end of Spark Tek's not-very-impressive-to-begin-with 30-day return window.
My mom contacted Spark Tek and asked for a return and refund, but "Ahmed" just apologized and said there was nothing he could do because my mom was outside the 30-day refund window, we're sorry for the inconvenience, yaddy-yadda. My mom then wrote back and was understandably pretty irked. "Xander" stepped up and replied with more apologies, but this time assured her that customer service and satisfaction were of utmost importance at Spark Tek and that he'd conduct further review of her complaint. After several days of waiting, my mom then sent yet another query to Xander asking about a resolution. No surprise, he then fed us the same refund policy that Ahmed had earlier. Okay, you had the facts in the first letter, so why string her along saying you'd "review things"?
Anyway, some heated back-and-forth between my mom and Xander, then "Emma" ocurred, though of course, to no satisfactory resolution. My mom said she called them "scammer pr*cks" in one letter, so I guess she was pretty mad (understandably). As the recipient of her gift, I'm mad, too. This company claims to pride itself on its customer service, then doesn't stand behind a crappy product that they not only claimed to be superior, but also knowingly wayyy overcharged for. And now it's a $179 paperweight. Shame on them. As countless other reviewers have repeatedly stated, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS!

This heat for me heater sold by spark tek is absolute junk and is only rivaled by the worst customer service ever. We paid $50 plus $13 shipping which came in a thin mailer bag, a damaged box and a product that I can only describe as the world’s cheapest! If you want to return this crap, you’re out the shipping, you have to pay the return shipping and they charge you $9.99 against your refund. So, you’ll get about $30 of the $67 you paid . Avoid this company like the plague.

Bought a Chirpy Charm bird feeder for my husband for Christmas. It did not work despite several phone calls with customer service and 5 hours of trying to get it to work. They let me return it because it's been more than 30 days. I bought it at the end of November and of course it wasn't opened until Christmas and he didn't try to set it up until we returned home on January 2nd. In addition we had to purchase an SD card and wait for that to arrive before trying to set it up.

BEWARE this terrible product. This product requires you to view a dozen videos to understand how to use it. Even then, it's impossible to figure out.

No response with request for assistance with defective product. No definitive company identification to send complaints to. Most reputible companies will stand behind their products and cover shipping issues for returns or refunds. No reason customer should cover additional monies shipping when sent a useless product.

If I could give them less than a 1 I would. I am an idiot for not reading about them before spending $144.85 on 3 humidifiers, receiving only 2 of them, which both worked just once, and now do not work at all. I have not been able to get them to work again. I guess I never should have shut them off to refill. No telephone number, no address, I can't even send them back.

The product was installed and is working but need to see if the speed can be tweaked...I would say I am pleased.

This company misrepresents the quality of their products online, which they charge a higher price for, and then when I requested an address to return the unused product for refund, they give me an address in China, when the company address was a US address AND the product was shipped using US postage from another US address.

For $48 I received a scratch remover cloth. It took almost two weeks to arrive- $14 was just for shipping that could have gone in a brown envelope for 1st class postage. The directions on the package say to use with "scratch wax"-not included - never mentioned in the sales pitch. I ordered scratch wax from Amazon for $17 that includes the same kind of wipes! I should have done my homework on this company. I know better than to buy off the internet. Never again! Avoid Spark Tek!

This company is running a scam and preying on diabetics. They sell a product called BloodVitals and imply that it measures blood sugar. The website says "pain free" and "no skin pricking" and posts reviews of people saying they use it to monitor their diabetes. What comes in the mail ($55 later) is a cheap pulse oximeter that you could buy elsewhere for less than $10.
When you request a return and refund they first claim to offer a 20% refund, then a 30% refund without returning the product.
From reading other reviews, it appears that there will never be any refund whether the product is returned or not.
They will then respond to this review with a false claim of help.
Learn from my mistake of doing business with this company and stay far away from them.
