C'était un petit groupe (5 élèves et un animateur). Il y a plusieurs tuteurs sur la plateforme. J'apprécie particulièrement le mien. Ce fut une heure très enrichissante consacrée à la compréhension orale.

I tentatively joined SpeakMeeters as like so many people the thought of joining an online community and practising a language can be nerve-wracking.

However, I took the plunge and joined for a year after asking a few questions and receiving really encouraging and helpful replies from the site's chat facility.

I had my first meet up yesterday and was naturally nervous as I rarely get the chance to put my study of French into practice, however, the whole experience of my first call was fantastic. I gradually began to relax as the facilitator was excellent and encouraging and the other learner was very friendly and attentive.

My husband asked me how it went afterwards, and he was very relieved to see me smiling so much!

The site is really easy to navigate around and because I enjoy languages so much I really feel I could be part of this community longer term, perhaps even facilitating an English group in the future, which would be right up my street.

It takes a lot of courage for speakers of English to use what they have learnt when abroad, because it is so easy to break out into English with very helpful citizens of the country always eager to put someone at ease. However, next time I go to France - I think I will have more courage to speak once I have spent a few months with SpeakMeeters.

It really is a welcoming and happy community and I wish I had found it many years ago. Thank you to all those involved behind the scenes as well as those more visible on the site.

È molto utile e divertente poter parlare con stranieri e praticare la lingua reale, di chi la parla quotidianamente. Un'esperienza continua anche umanamente: tante culture e idee che circolano, e tu ne fai parte. E stupisce scoprire che anche tu sei in grado di dialogare!

Une expérience enrichissante et motivante qui m’a vraiment aidé à prendre confiance à l’oral J’aime beaucoup l’ambiance bienveillante et conviviale de SpeakMeeters, qui permet de parler sans stress. J’ai choisi ce concept parce qu’il est différent des cours classiques : on pratique réellement et on progresse en échangeant avec les autres. Avant de me lancer, j’avais quelques doutes, mais après plusieurs sessions, je sens une vraie amélioration dans ma fluidité et ma confiance.

C’est intéressant d’utiliser speakmeeters. La plateforme permet de progresser rapidement en langue. Moi particulièrement, en anglais. C’est aussi un moyen de découvrir d’autres cultures.

Speakmeeters est une plateforme très simple d'utilisation qui permet de créer du lien avec des participants de toutes nationalités.Il est possible d'apprendre une nouvelle langue dans la bonne humeur et en toute bienveillance. Je recommande les yeux fermés quelque soit votre niveau.

J'ai expérimenté Speakmeeters pour parler en espagnol et j'ai accepté ensuite des conversations en français avec des membres du monde entier motivés et qui veulent s'améliorer. Dès ma première conversation, les échanges mutuels à l'oral ont été simples, fructueux et très sympathiques. Je suis fan de ces échanges et c'est partagé aussi ! l'application est simple d'utilisation et j'ai toujours eu des réponses à mes quelques petits soucis de fonctionnement grâce à la présence bienveillante de StëPh.

SpeakMeeters est LA MEILLEURE application pour apprendre les langues. C’est plus qu’une plateforme : c’est une communauté formidable qui me pousse et m’aide à être plus à l’aise en français. Pour tous ceux qui veulent apprendre le français, l’anglais ou l’espagnol, vous êtes au bon endroit.

I decided to try Speakmeeters for a month to see how it worked out. I have been very pleased and will be continuing. It's well organised and straightforward to use and the native speaker hosts are professional and helpful.
Working in small groups, maximum of 5, plus a native speaker to lead the conversation I feel that I am already making progress. I am starting to feel more confident, it is just what I need to keep me motivated and on track.
For information language learning does not come naturally to me so finding somewhere where I feel comfortable and that works is a big plus.

I’d never heard of SpeakMeeters, so I decided to try it for 3 months only.
First week, I was already impressed, several hosts and members have been on the platform for 3+ years, first sign that the site is trustworthy.

Hosts are punctual, warm and bring engaging topics. Members are another highlight. There’s always this feeling of mutual cooperation and a genuine wish for the classmates’ progress. In French i’m almost always the weakest, but everyone is patient and kind, there's no place for judgement.

I’ve just renewed for another year and I also recommend the duo sessions, where i get help with my personal interests.
Finally, I want to mention StēFh, the founder. Friendly, understanding, and does a great job running the platform. Both site and customer service, works very well.

Tout d'abord, la plateforme est très réussie. Elle est facile à utiliser et fonctionne bien.
L'idée de réunir des personnes parlant différentes langues pour s'entraider est également très belle.
La session de groupe à laquelle j'ai participé a été très satisfaisante grâce à la patience, l'intérêt et la bienveillance de l'animateur. Il est certain que toutes les sessions seront aussi fructueuses à l'avenir. Le fait qu'il y ait des sessions sur plusieurs jours et à différentes heures de la semaine, qu'il n'y ait aucune obligation de suivi et que chacun soit libre de participer à la session de son choix, témoigne de la perfection du format. De plus, le fait de partager un objectif avec de nombreuses personnes de cultures différentes est un facteur très enrichissant. Je remercie vivement Speakmeeters d'avoir rendu cela possible. Son nom, déjà très bien trouvé, en dit beacoup.

J’ai découvert cela par le bouche à oreille par un groupe d’amis.
Je souhaitais pouvoir me perfectionner en langue étrangère notamment en anglais ce qui est en bonne voie .
Le fait de pratiquer avec des natifs permet d’être corriger directement.
Concernant les tarifs , il y en a pour tous les budgets .

Speakmeeters is a straightforward and well-organized site where I speak French in a group led by a French speaker. We explore various topics, themes and concepts such as dates, numbers, terminology and more. At first, it's challenging to listen and pick up on the meaning of the words. Then it became challenging and fun. The teachers and students have a good learning spirit and attitude. And sometimes we laugh a bit. The teachers use the chat to correct and inform so you get feedback in numerous ways. Very good and recommended once you have a bit of a grasp on the language.

Speakmeeters est une façon fantastique à ameliorer votre niveau de français d’une manière très efficace. Les “profs” natifs sont tous excellents avec des thèmes super intéressants. Ca marche comme un complément parfait avec AT Frenchies pour ceux qui parle moins couramment mais le modèle marche pour tous les niveaux…soit “beginner, intermediate or advanced”. Bravo équipe AT/Speakmeeters.

Cette plate-forme est absolument géniale. Contrairement aux autres plates-formes, celles-ci est moins axée sur l'aspect académique. Elle est surtout faite pour trouver des natifs avec lesquels discuter de sujets divers, selon les préférences. C'est très accessible, la plate-forme est très intuitive et les hosts sont dans la bienveillance et le partage, comme entre amis !
