I’m so pleased I discovered SpecHaus. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect when ordering glasses online, but I’ve been genuinely impressed with both the quality and the price.

The glasses look great, feel really well made and, to be honest, seem much more expensive than they actually were. It’s refreshing to find an independent business offering such good quality without the usual big-brand price tag.

I’ve been wearing mine regularly and couldn’t be happier with them. I’d definitely recommend giving SpecHaus a try. I’m already thinking about ordering another pair myself!

Frames are ok price is comparable with other online stores, but the delivery time an expectations are totally misleading. I’m not sure the vary focal is as exact as it could be they admitted via email they’d had an issue making the glasses. All in all I’d shop around. There are plenty of options and personally I don’t think this is a great one.

I got medium varifocal glasses from here a couple of weeks ago. I've left it this long to leave a review to give myself time to get used to my new ones.
They fit perfectly and are bang on for my needs. Unbeatable at this price

Start to finish, great service and the specscwere delivered within 14 days.
Every bit as good as glasses from my optician, but about a third of the price.
I needed some extra advice before ordering and Charles was good enough to answer all my questions by e mail. Makes a welcome change from being dealt with by a robot.
The frames are not designer, but they are good and sturdy and quite stylish looking and I love the fold down case.
Considering mine is a complex prescription which needs thinned lenses and I just needed a second pair of glasses for a change now and then, I was quite happy to be billed £162 when my own optician would have charged £700 for similar.

I am short sighted with astigmatism and age-related presbyopia (unable to focus on near objects).
I've been looking for cheaper alternatives to the varifocals offered on my high street, so I ordered some from SpecHaus. I went for their more expensive lenses, so it cost £160. I have been comparing them with my current varifocals, which cost £810 just for the lenses (not the frames). I have been using both pairs for driving, walking around, working at a computer, reading and reading in the dark at night. I cannot tell the difference. The SpecHaus varifocals are excellent and I will definitely use them next time my prescription changes.

I have had varifocal glasses and sunglasses for many years now and the cost of them is horrendous even when using the offers from high street stores. I started browsing the various discounted options online but by the time I’d added all the extras I wasn’t saving much.
I then saw an advert from Spec Haus and checked them out. My glasses were coming back at £89 so I opted for the sunglasses with thinned lenses and with my 10% off as a new customer it came to £111. Almost 1/3 price on the high street.
I uploaded my latest prescription and about 8 days later they arrived. Immediately I was impressed with the weight and quality of the frames. The sunglass lenses were as dark as I hoped and the lenses were perfect as soon as I tried them out.
The glasses arrived in a well packaged cardboard posting box. A sturdy presentation box with a fancy foldable glasses pouch inside too. All protected with bubble wrap.
One suggestion would be to give an option for a darker option of case as the white will get dirty quickly.
I used the 10% new customer code and considered the 30% off a second pair but it wouldn’t allow both.
I’m really pleased with my sunglasses and hoping for another code to buy new glasses now.

After 45 years of wearing glasses, I can honestly say these are by far the best pairs I have ever owned.
Having an astigmatism and needing high-index varifocals (which I've worn for over 20 years), I was very dubious about ordering online. I had always bought from high street opticians, routinely paying well over £450 for a single pair once the lenses were thinned down. It took me a while to pluck up enough courage to try SpecHaus, but I am so glad I did.
I ordered three pairs: an everyday varifocal, a pair of varifocal sunglasses, and an intermediate pair for work. The optical quality and frame craftsmanship on every single pair are absolutely amazing.
To top it off, customer service was top-notch. I emailed late one weekend evening with a query, fully expecting to wait until the working week for a response. I was blown away when I got a helpful reply within 10 minutes!
If you're on the fence about ordering online, don't hesitate.
SpecHaus has completely won me over, and I'll certainly be getting all my glasses from them in the future.

I have been wearing my Jimmy tortoise / Varifocals - Slim 1.6 for a few weeks now and delighted I made the move from the High St Sharks. Dealing with SpecHaus has been a pleasure with excellent Customer service and I received my glasses in 8 Days from order.They fit and look lovely, I was a little apprehensive at first dealing with an online provider but would/have highly recommended this company to my friends and family. I’m absolutely delighted with my Riley glasses in clear from Spechaus. The quality is excellent, and I ordered varifocal lenses with 1.6 thinning and Transitions lenses, all for just £148 using the WELCOME10 discount code.

My usual glasses from the high street cost close to £700 (even with the “buy one, get one free” offers), so the value for money is incredible. I honestly can’t believe the difference in price without compromising on quality.

I love the style, and despite having a strong prescription of -6, it’s almost impossible to tell from looking at the lenses. They look fantastic, and I’m genuinely so pleased with them.

The only minor issue was that the frames kept sliding down my nose, so I popped into a local optician to have them adjusted. Once fitted properly, they were perfect.

I’ve already recommended Spechaus to friends and family and wouldn’t hesitate to order from them again. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase!
