Joe has been the best customer service rep I have dealt with at SpotOn. I came onboard in March to help the restaurants with lots of things and Joe has been an amazing help. He follows through on questions asked, I don't have to follow up, when there is a problem, he fixes it himself or elevates it and doesn't make me contact someone else to submit a request. He does things that excellent reps do- check in, make the situation right and has Accountability which is so refreshing. He responds promptly and makes us feel like we are his only clients! He has made this past few months as we add options so much easier and transition to adding Teamwork! I can't say enough good things.

Ivan Monroy answers calls/returns calls/follows up. Very helpful to have a go to person that organizes support issues and gets the right folks involved when there is an issue. There are lots of reasons to call support besides breakdowns and such. It’s nice that it is not always a kick in the teeth to do so. Thanks!

My experience with SpotOn has been deeply frustrating from start to finish. We were given clear verbal promises from their sales rep (promises that gave us the influence to sign) but when everything fell apart and we reached out for help, SpotOn showed zero interest in acknowledging any of it. In my experience after reaching out to over twenty different people was the first time I received true follow ups.
During a meeting with a higher-up, I was repeatedly cut off and told I was “confused,” even though I had documentation and detailed emails outlining every issue. She openly admitted she hadn’t taken the time to read any of the information I sent before the meeting. The fact that a representative would join a call unprepared, dismiss concerns without reviewing the facts, and completely disregard what their own sales rep told us speaks volumes.
From my experience, SpotOn does not stand behind the promises made during the sales process, and once you’ve signed, they seem uninterested in taking accountability for the consequences.
Based on how we were treated, all I can say is this: be extremely cautious with SpotOn. In my opinion, they can damage your operations, ignore their own commitments, and leave you dealing with the fallout alone. Consider this a SERIOUS warning. I wish I saw a post like this before we got overcharged for OVER AND OVER. If you do feel inclined to chose them for whatever incentive they provide please make sure your bank doesn't charge overdraft fees. Also, check your account atleast three times a day. I am not kidding.

Shout out to our point of contact Morgan. Shes been a great helper when we are in need. Special shout out to Savannah who has been there for us since day 1 of instal. She will always go the extra mile even if wasn’t her responsibility. From instal, to menu building, finding answers and showing up when needed. You’d think she has some bigger role in the company for how she takes care of you.

I really appreciate Joe looking out for us. He has been calling to give me updates on any cases that we have opened, and to answer any other questions I might have. I very much enjoy the updates. With past POS systems I would ask for help and never hear back. So this is like a breath of fresh air to know someone is actually looking into the issues I am having and keeping me informed. Michael, the regional manager, is very helpful. I had to dealt with Handheld issue over months with tech support and I was about to gave up!! Anyhow, he got in touch with me just to check up and I told the problem. He took care of the problem make everything straight within the week. He even came on site and make sure. I really appreciate his hardwork and effort. I’m so glad we have him by our side!!!

I was having issues with a credit card issue at both places for 4 days that never got resolved. I kept being sent to a different department and told they would get back with me. Hours and/or days later they did! That’s been resolved after calling daily. Then I needed assistance with adding buttons, groups etc… to the system. Told someone would call me back 3 hours later. In the interim I reached out to Chris Jones a rep who I had only spoken to a couple times. He immediately returned my call. I explained the issues I was having and the help I needed and the lack of time I had to wait around for a call. He immediately said he could help me right now. He literally sent a zoom call to me. Had lots of patience with me. Walked me through step by step and not only answered all my questions and concerns but took the time to show me along the way! He was very patient with me and genuinely cared about getting things taken care of. He was very helpful and after 45 minutes with me, the issues were resolved and I got exactly what I needed accomplished! Top notch service! Definitely an asset to your company!
