I made an order, I have received no email or message about age verification. I was hoping to receive items for the allocated time of purchase date to arrive 3-4 days so I have the items ready for a trip I have arranged. I hope I get a response from their support team, had no luck so far it's been 24 hours since purchase.
EDIT: Had a swift response from customer service the day after, all is in place and order seems to be going as planned and arriving on the date set, all in all, customer service was brilliant and my order has been sorted and ready to go in upcoming days.

I ordered 2 bladed items with 3-4 day delivery, that was 10 days ago. I have emailed both sales and customer services about this and received no response to either. So I am giving Springfields a chance to contact me and resolve this here, as this seems the best chance of getting any kind of reply.
Hi Luke.. I have already been contacted today by Ginete on the support team, the delay was down to the fact that I needed to supply photo I.D for verification. Hopefully all goes well from this point, I will update accordingly.👍
Items received, since contact was made there have been no problems whatsoever.. Customer services were very helpful and I received my order the next day. I am now one happy shopper, and will be back again.😁

Rubbish, ignore the stock numbers on the website as they are a lie.
Ordered item and paid for next day delivery, no confirmation received and item not sent.
Contacted the chat and was told to send an email containing telephone number so that someone could call back, was called and apparently something was not in stock although the website said 5 in stock.
I now have to wait another day, this was a birthday present and will now have to be late, did not leave me with enough time to source elsewhere.
They said that they will refund the postage but this is not good enough, if I was told straight away then I could of gotten this from somewhere else. Will not use again.

This is my first time ordering from this company. The wrong item was sent yesterday , I emailed them, they basically responded very soon after I emailed them and the correct item was sent which I received today! Very impressed and will definitely buy from them again. Happy customer!

Unhelpful supplier
Unhelpful supplier, refused to accept returned crossbow pistol after problems to place the string on the bow. Instructions are poor and unclear. Had to take the pistol to my mechanic to fit it. Company has no phone number and you cannot speak to any person. Everything is done by email and this is inadequate. Do NOT recommend this company!

Good company gone down hill
Shame they changed their age verification system, without saying anything. Even their T&C show the old age verification in place. Even when you query this, they give no answer.

Springfields of Burton is a SCAM…
Springfields of Burton is a SCAM COMPANY. It'll send you something you didn't want and probably don't need, and charge you for it, using Digital River- another scam company that preys on Paypal users.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS, or they'll bankrupt you.
Added: I have received requests to modify or delete my review. I shall do no such thing -- why should I?
I received a knife I didn't order, and was charged for it. Then there is 'Digital River': who the hell are they?
Apparently, the knife came from 'Springfields of Burton', which I believed to be an entirely different company from the Springfields we all know and love.
As far as I am concerned, this subject is closed.

Needed a sharp tool to deal with nettles at the bottom of the garden, found a perfect item, was reasonably priced and had a selection of delivery options, ordered Sunday arrived Tuesday, kept informed, the item was just as described. Will definitely be using Springfields again.

Happy with the deal but contacting them shouldn’t be that hard would have been 5 stars but for that and trying to make out the bag wasn’t in stock when it arrived with the Crossbow. But fairplay I did get a free Sat delivery even if DPD didn’t bring it till monday

Great shop, spent thousands in here over the last 30+ years but unfortunately me and a lot of my friends will no longer be using the business. (Decision made by all of us as we planned a visit)
You have made a very bad business decision by closing the shop.
People like to look around and make a decision by actually seeing products in front of them.
You cannot make the right decision for big purchases by looking at a picture online, you have to get a feel for the product to see if it suits your needs.

Very fast, good service. There was one issue that needed resolving and it was taken care off very quickly. These guys seem to value custoers which is rare these days. Am happy to recommend them to others

Have used them a couple of times to purchase Mora knives and also a couple of Anglo Arms EDC UK legal knives. I have to say Springfields are superb in their pricing, dispatch and the use of DPD for delivery. There would be no need to shop elsewhere.
