I came across Spyderbot while trying to figure out something that’s been bothering me for a while:
are AI tools like ChatGPT or Perplexity actually sending traffic to my website?
Because honestly, traditional tools like Google Analytics don’t really give a clear answer. So I was curious enough to give it a try.
First impression , the idea makes a lot of sense.
Spyderbot focuses on something most marketers are starting to realize but still can’t measure properly: AI-driven traffic.
What I liked right away is that it’s pretty easy to use. The interface isn’t overly technical, and you can quickly see whether your site is getting visitors from AI platforms. In my case, I actually found traffic that I would’ve normally assumed was “direct.” That alone was a bit of an eye-opener.
Another plus is how straightforward the data is presented. You don’t have to dig too deep to get value from it, which I think is great for marketers who just want quick insights without overcomplicating things.
That said, it’s not perfect.
since this is still a relatively new space, I’d say I’m not 100% confident in the accuracy of the tracking just yet. It’s useful, but I’d still treat it as a complementary tool rather than a single source of truth.
And if your website isn’t getting much traffic in general, you might not immediately see the value. This feels more useful for people already running marketing campaigns or doing SEO at some level.
Overall, I’d say Spyderbot is definitely worth trying if you’re serious about understanding where marketing is heading.
It’s not here to replace tools like Google Analytics but it fills a gap that’s been missing for a long time.
If AI-driven discovery keeps growing (which it clearly is), tools like Spyderbot might soon go from “nice to have” to essential.

I’ve had a great experience with Spyderbot so far. The real-time GEO analytics across different AI models is something I haven’t really seen elsewhere, and it’s super helpful for understanding how a brand shows up in AI-generated results.
The dashboard is clean and fairly easy to use, and once you get into it, the insights are actually very valuable. It gives a much clearer picture of visibility across AI platforms, which feels increasingly important.
There’s definitely a lot of data, so it can take a little time to get familiar with everything, but overall it’s a powerful tool and I’ve found it worth using.
