Nobody wants it!

I paid for the whole membership, but I can't actually cancel it. Their rules say I can only sell it or give it away, and honestly, nobody wants it! The annual fees are getting ridiculous. They cost more than a normal vacation now, and that's before dealing with all their restrictions.

Absolutely horrible

I attended this presentation because I was genuinely interested and had seriously considered signing up. However, I do not make financial or contractual decisions under pressure. I prefer to research independently and make informed choices.
I remained for the entire presentation and was respectful throughout. It was concerning when it was stated that the door was locked, which immediately created an uncomfortable atmosphere.
When the presentation concluded, I clearly and politely stated multiple times that I would not be signing up that day. I am currently several states away from home and was not in a position to commit to anything. Despite my clear and repeated refusal, three separate representatives continued to pressure me.
The final representative, Oscar, spent approximately 30 minutes attempting to push me into signing. He repeatedly interrupted me, would not allow me to complete a sentence, and ignored my repeated “no.” His behavior was not persuasive — it was aggressive and dismissive. When I firmly declined yet again, his demeanor shifted noticeably and became hostile. Another gentleman, who had previously been extremely courteous, also changed his tone. As I walked away, I was berated.
This was not a professional sales environment. It was high-pressure, intimidating, and inappropriate. No prospective customer should be made to feel cornered, talked over, or verbally confronted for declining a service. If this is the standard approach to gaining clients, it raises serious concerns about the organization’s overall practices.
I left feeling uncomfortable, disrespected, and deeply disappointed.

The experience has been terrible

The experience has been terrible, particularly because we paid the full amount upfront. Member Services was extremely unhelpful, and the company has been completely uncooperative. They exhibit a clear lack of concern, especially considering the minimal value we've received for the significant amount of money they have taken.

Sapphire is an extremely unethical…

Sapphire is an extremely unethical company. Despite paying our ownership in full, we are now expected to pay annual maintenance fees indefinitely, even though we will never use the service. They absolutely refuse to cooperate with us and allow us to close this account.We strongly advise everyone to avoid this company.

We have fully satisfied our loan obligation, and our membership balance/loan is paid in full. Despite their claims of ease-of-use and investment value, this is far from the truth. Even though we paid the full amount for something that yielded no return, the company is now demanding a $2000 fee to close the account. This demonstrates a complete lack of concern for their customers. They are merely people who pretend to be ethical while trying to persuade you of the product's value or push an upsell. Potential customers should definitely stay away! They are unwilling to waive the $2000 termination fee, even for a loyal customer who wishes to sever ties.

Despite fully paying off our membership, the company is refusing to allow us to terminate it. We no longer use the membership, yet they continue to insist on billing us for annual maintenance fees. This entire situation has proven to be a huge mistake

Tied to a very inflexible time share.

We called Sapphire today, to pay our annual very expensive maintenance fee for our Geo time share. Since 2002, we have used the plan twice, mainly because of lack of resort availability when we looked into booking locations through RCI. We asked if they could refresh our banked credits with an additional week of credits due to many years of non use. Of course the answer was no. We asked for access to the RCI resort directory. They sent us a link. It didn't work. It is so frustrating to be tied to a plan with such expensive maintenance costs that is so unflexible.

They did advise if we wanted out of our contract, by paying them $2000, we would be free and clear. Maybe they should consider paying us, so they can have someone else take over a plan that is very lucrative for them with outrageously high maintenance fees.

We were told lies, on top of lies. Sadly we didn’t discover it until it was too late.
Promised 4 vacations out the country and other stuff .
We bought in nothing but a nightmare of nothing but empty promises.
I’m buying a home in a few months, and will default on this mess. I pay my bills and I hate I got into this but I refuse to give away thousands to people already getting rich off a system they trapping people into

I am absolutely outraged by my contact…

I am absolutely outraged by my contact with Member Services. We paid off this membership in full a long time ago, and we neither need nor want it anymore. We made it perfectly clear to them that our financial and personal circumstances have drastically changed.

However, they insist the only option is to sell or transfer it to someone else. No one wants this! It's clear that their sole focus is squeezing out yearly fees and keeping people trapped. This company's shady business practices desperately need to be investigated. We simply want to terminate our membership. Why is ending this membership so incredibly difficult?!

The profound regret of ever enrolling, especially given the continuous cycle of exorbitant annual fees and consistently disappointing resort experiences, has only deepened. This service offers negligible value and feels like a blatant waste of money. Sapphire Resorts Scam

Sapphire Resorts is nothing short of the biggest scam on the planet. Let’s run down a list of some of the lies that they sold us before we signed on the dotted line:

They told us this would be easy to use, and we could go two weeks out of the year. Immediately after we joined, they made us wait 6 months before being activated. Since then, it has been nearly impossible to book anything.

They never explained their points system to us. Apparently, we were getting 33,000 points every three years. That sounds like a lot, right? It barely gets us down the runway. Those points are only good every three years.

We were stuck in the meeting for over two and a half hours. They said it would be quick, but kept finding ways to “lower the price on this once in a lifetime deal! Today only!”

They promised us free trips as a reward for doing the presentation: turns out, you have to pay for a nice chunk of that trip!

They additionally sold us on the fact that it was a financial investment–that we could rent it to family and friends, that we could pass it down to our estate as a legacy! We have never been able to rent the timeshare.

That’s just the tip of the iceberg. Every complaint you read about Sapphire is 100% TRUE. It’s a horrible, bad-faith business, and we’ve been trying to cancel our contract for years now. Don’t pay them a dime, they are NOT a respectable company.

False Premise

My decision to purchase the timeshare upgrade was based on the false premise that it would provide full ownership and the unrestricted ability to sell the property. Upon realizing these representations were misleading, I immediately sought to cancel the timeshare and requested a full refund of all payments made. This request was rejected without a proper explanation, indicating that retaining my money is a greater priority than honoring my wish to terminate the service.

​I am deeply disappointed with my experience thus far. Since joining a week ago, I have encountered a series of misrepresentations and administrative failures that raise serious concerns about this company’s integrity.
​Invalid Incentives: Upon arrival, I discovered that the show passes and gambling coupons provided by the recruiting team were expired. I was forced to pay out-of-pocket for rewards that were promised as part of the enrollment.
​Withheld Documentation: Despite assurances that my signed contracts were in my packet and would be emailed once "the system was back up," I have yet to receive any documentation.
​Billing Discrepancies: An unauthorized amount, exceeding what was agreed upon and signed for, was withdrawn from my account.
​Lack of Communication: I have made numerous attempts to resolve these issues via phone and email. My emails remain unanswered, and phone calls either go unpicked or result in being transferred to the "wrong department" with no resolution.
​Furthermore, there is conflicting information regarding the rescission period. While I was told 30 days, Nevada law suggests a much shorter window. The company’s refusal to provide a physical address for certified mail makes it nearly impossible to exercise my legal right to cancel. I strongly advise potential clients to exercise extreme caution. I wish I would have taken the time to read reviews prior to my joining. I hope this saves others!

Worst Christmas vacation ever!!

Worst Christmas vacation ever!!! I stayed at Sedona Pines Resort December 21st to 26th 2025 through a promotional package that required a sales presentation. The presentation was described as a short “vacation club” overview but lasted nearly 2.5 hours and involved extreme pressure to sign and pay NOW! Despite being told it wasn’t a timeshare, it clearly was with high upfront costs approximately $13,000 to start and $750 annual fees the increase every year, more $$ if you decide to go international using RCI partner and to top it off very limited availability, something many reviews online also mention.

The units had ongoing maintenance issues: broken light switches, non-working appliances, and a toilet that clogged repeatedly during a three-night stay, requiring plunging and maintenance calls. Basic quality control was clearly lacking. This resort is very old and outdated, will not recommend for kids or young couple. Every this is over 15 minutes drives away in the town.

During my stay, my rental car broke down at the resort, a serious issue given how remote and dark the location is. Despite keeping staff informed, I was denied a short extension, told the resort was “fully booked,” locked out, and later discovered rooms were available online.
While waiting outside for hours, I also observed an older Spanish-speaking housekeeping employee struggling alone with heavy cleaning supplies while other staff rode around in golf carts without helping. Combined with the way I was treated after declining the sales offer, this raised serious concerns about unfair and unequal treatment.
This was a deeply disappointing and unsettling experience, especially during Christmas holidays. I will definitely not recommend Sapphire Pines Resorts because it is old and outdated the pictures online are deceiving. The chips in the old beat up vending machine was expired. Be aware that this resort is in a remote, dark, and isolated desert location outside the city. You can tell they do give a FU$k about their guest because Ashley at the front said go ahead make your complaint as if she knew the results already. Do not waste your time. Listen to what people are saying its true.

Very Misleading!!!


We are writing this review to warn others about the problems we've had with the timeshare we were pressured into purchasing. From the moment we signed up, we felt misled about the terms and the commitment, and the entire process has caused several issues.

When we tried to address our concerns, we were met with a complete lack of accountability and shocking rudeness from company representatives.

First, when we spoke with Richard Hoffman, he was unhelpful and dismissive, making us feel as though we were at fault for a situation the company's high-pressure tactics created. This disregard for our concerns left us feeling cheated.

The situation only worsened when we contacted a representative named Sunny. Sunny was incredibly rude and completely dismissive of our concerns, making us feel like he was actually laughing in our face. The level of disrespect and lack of care we have received is unacceptable.

Our voices have been ignored by this company, but we will not stop fighting for a fair resolution. This type of predatory business with this timeshare must stop. If you are considering a timeshare, we urge you to think twice, carefully research the company and its practices, and do not let yourself be pressured into a situation like ours.
