I recently started a new job where I would need steel toed boots. I also recently had pretty major surgery on my abdomen area. So when I write this review it is from this limited perspective but to also speak highly of the design and feel of the boot from a very sensitive perspective.

Even my brooks ghost running shoes were difficult to put on after my surgery. But the design of these Steel Blue Boots with the zipper on the side have been a God send. What a thoughtful design. You never have to fully untie your boots and they fit snug when zipped up!

As for their comfortableness throughout the day the soles are top notch. Of course they don't compare to my top of the line running shoe, their boots! for crying out loud. However, I was really surprised! I have worn Doc Martin Industrials, Red Wings, and Timberland Pro's in the past and these are right up there and I'd say even better than all of those I have worn in the past. I can walk all day in the lab and my back doesn't hurt and my feet don't hurt at all. I've owned and wore them for a couple months now and they haven't broken down yet with my 230lb physique pressing on them everyday.

I have to admit I haven't worn them outside much but they hold up very well for my rough everyday wearing. I go through shoes a lot!

So top notch Boot, will be ordering a pair of ESD boots to go with this pair to have for work.

So if your looking for a good quality and great feeling boot then this is the one for you!

I love my new Argyle waterproof boots! I wore them all day in the rain and my feet are dry and comfortable. This is my third pair of boots and they have all been great!

Hands down the most comfortable work boot out of the box I have ever worn. Zero break in. Quality Materials. Only recommendation is more color ways for the North American market dark brown with black soles.

When I first heard about the “zip boots” I thought it was a gimmick but boy was I wrong. I’ve tried on other boots with a zip that feel cheap or uncomfortable. Not these, I laced them up when I first got them to my liking and never touched them again and the boots feel the same day in and day out! And the comfort is apparent out of the box!

Got a pair of the brown Argyles (No zipper) and these things are legit. Classic looks, comfortable, durable, and they get me the couple extra inches I need to claim 6ft tall with a straight face.

Ordered my first pair online heard about them from a friend so decided to try them out and I love em. Grew up always wearing boots and will always wear them casually as well just because they feel comfortable to me and these feel way more comfortable then your usual pair of boots. I been so happy with the quality of steel blue boots and most important the comfort. I’m a hefty fella so my feet get swollen, but my boots make it to easy to make it through the day.
