I have been buying Steeldive watches for years and it has always been a happy experience-until my last order.I ordered the sealed back version of the PLOPROF. When I received it,I was never told that the crown works in reverse. Not knowing this,I could not understand why I could not unscrew the crown to set the watch.A Steeldive rep told me it was normal to be tight. When another finally told me about the unusual reverse configuation,the crown was so tight,it coulkd not be turned. Steeldive agreed it had to be sent in for repair,which I did. After some time,tracking revealed that it was being processed through the Chinese postal system. This info never changed.Weeks went by. I reached out to Steeldive several times and I was told they would look into it. Now over a year has passed and the company has ignored all my attempts to reach out. Iam out $400 + and a company I had always admired has abandoned a loyal customer. Order ST17202. Delivered 3/27/25. 6/16/25 when I began asking why I was not hearing from the company.

Website was descriptive with plenty of photos. Transaction was smooth and shipping was quick.

My order did not arrive and when asked about it they said they could resend it?!! Why would I want to do that when it didn't come the first time. The good thing is that the refund was given quickly.

Movement was defective. Watch would stop working when held upside down. When I tried to return it, I was told money could not be credited to my credit card. I was also required to provide an image of my passport, which I was uncomfortable doing. I ended up having the movement replaced. In the end, the watch ended up costing me three times the sale price.

It’s rear now a days to find a company that produces good quality watches with good specs for low prices. That is why I am loyal customer

Excellent product, can’t go wrong with the seiko 6R34-35 mov. My second order did have a shipping problem. It actually was lost, took a couple of months to straighten out and in the end they offered full refund or replacement. I told them that i like and want it so send another. I received in a few weeks and it is beautiful. Pull the trigger if you are on the fence. Great Service & Quality!

The ploprof homage I received had the best line out of any watch I have in my collection, in addition to having outstanding accuracy and a great finish.

My experience was not good -- the watch I bought was shipped, stalled in delivery, never was ultimately delivered, and was a roughly 45-day ordeal to get my money back.

I cannot speak to the quality of the actual item as it was never received but given the lengths I had to go to get their support team to interact and provide the expected service, I would not recommend buying.

Having purchased from Steeldive twice before I found the service second to none - great discount on good value to quality watches. Easy to navigate website with accurate descriptions and images. Great delivery times with assurance on any damages in transit. Overall brilliant service!

Lovely looking time piece. Solid construction. Weighty. But the worst timekeeping in my collection... Loses 2 minutes a week. That's not acceptable. Disappointing.

As always with steeldive quality is always delivered price is on the side of value delivery could be a bit quicker as the purchase of the watch and then the wait to get the coverted timepiece is for me a little too long the only real moan I have is the size as 40mm is big ,as watches now have finally started to get back to 36mm and 38mm a more subtle and understated size couple that sizing with steeldive and you will get the wow factor so steeldive over too you size down please

I am very happy with with this watch. It looks great and it keeps very good time. Over a week long period it only gained 5 seconds. I am shocked in a good way. The only thing I would give ding on is the bracelet. Not the best but it's okay I expected to change it anyway. The price was very reasonable.

I ordered two Steeldive watches, the 1964 Rolex DeepSea homage, and the 1953 Fifty Fathoms homage. The 1964 DeepSea homage is perfect. The 1953 Fifty Fathoms homage has a misaligned hour hand - the hour hand does not point at the hour marker when the minute hand is at 12:00, but leads by about seven minutes. I'm unable to wear the watch without noticing the misalignment. This defect should have been caught during Q/C inspection at the factory, not shipped to a customer. Other than that, I would have given 5 stars - price and delivery were excellent.

Steeldive watches are great value for the money, solid, well constructed and the look and feel great on the wrist. Movements are quality for the cost and I always recieve compliments whenever and wherever I wear them. Definitely recommend over other watches in the same price point.
