I have had the most worst experience putting my claim through. Constantly on hold for ages so would choose to email instead and not get a reply for days on end even if I replied within a few minutes! Absolutely ridiculous! I paid my policy in advance before the expiry date so I wouldn’t forget and now that I’ve had to make a claim and expect that refund of the new policy as it isn’t even the 19th of April yet and that’s when my new policy starts, I get completely ignored about it in my emails, like they are doing it on purpose and waiting until the 19th so they can say it’s past the date and i’m not entitled to a refund. WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A ACTUAL JOKE! SO MUCH FOR HELPING WOMEN!

Terrible experience right from the beginning, a simple quote started with the site not able to find the vehicle, navigation poor. I think that's a good enough indication. No thanks!

Prices are great but put in a claim and it takes forever.
No communication after we got a claim number.Still waiting for next steps 3 weeks later.

When I was with Stella prior to…
When I was with Stella prior to Comprehensive car insurance cover ceasing, I payed $90 per month for the same Comprehensive car insurance I am again paying for, through Stella. Only now it is $155 /mth. I don’t understand why such an extreme increase. I suffer from financial hardship due to living on Disability Support Pension. This increase means I have to reconsider using insurance at all.

Ultimate customer service
It has been my pleasure to deal with Lua in the customer service team this last month. Firstly, with renewing my car insurance policy and then providing genuinely helpful assistance when I commenced a novated lease arrangement which necessitated the cancellation of my policy. Even though I was about to cease being a Stella customer, Lua's helpfulness and professionalism never faltered. In addition, I am super impressed by the speed with which the refund of my insurance premium was processed - instantly!!
Well done Stella - you and your team, especially Lua, epitomise the essence of good customer service sadly lacking elsewhere.
