Booked the Stena lounge

Booked the Stena lounge. Really clean. Lovely staff but disappointed no sandwiches like in airport lounges.

Delayed by 2 hours on way out ferry…

Delayed by 2 hours on way out ferry cancelled due to storm on way back had to pay hotel for extra day. Obviously return cancellation not stenalines fault. Came back Easter Sunday and all kids were given Easter eggs by staff even though we didn’t have kids we thought it was a nice touch

Rooms are always dirty

Rooms are always dirty. Last travel there was one tea bag and open and used milk sachets.

Nothing makes a ferry crossing great

Nothing makes a ferry crossing great. All that can be said is that Stena make it as easy as possible for the traveler to make the journey without too much stress. Stena are generally reliable time wise and their ships are clean. Just don't expect your cabin (suite) to be warm!!

I note the response from Stena Line regarding my remark regarding the Cabin/Suite warmth. I wanted to add a note to that to say that I have traveled the Belfast to Cairnryan route for over 20 years with Stena and in the last ten years more than ten times each year. On none of these trips have I enjoyed the ability to increase the temperature of the cabin/suite. There is a thermostat on the wall but it is simply there for show and is totally devoid of functionality! However having said all that I would still use Stena as my preferred ferry provider as familiarity is everything!

Absolutely disgusting service

Absolutely disgusting service. We sailed on the Ben my cheer and did not realize it was such a small boat . There was no cabins and as for the duty free it was basically non existent. We were booked for a return trip but we cancelled as we would not ever ever travel on the boat again . The cleaning left a lot to be desired . It will now be Irish ferries for us until a time when Stena puts back another ship with acceptable services , from rosslare to fishgaurd

Always seem to be delays

Always seem to be delays. Especially with the Ben my Chree. Internet is awful.
However it is much more comfortable than the nordica

The room was great

The room was great. But I paid for lunch beforehand it was more expensive then the price on board. The price I paid was nearly the double from in board.

The food was delicious.

Liked staff very kind

Liked staff very kind. Bathrooms clean. Food okay. Miss the big ship. Disliked overnight with no place to lie out fixed cair arms. Cold A/C overhead and bright lights. Driving after no sleep not good

I always travel with Stenna lines every…

I always travel with Stenna lines every time I went to UK for a special sport event. Food is great. Waiting area from point A to B is very comfortable. Charging point they everywhere. On board duty free selections are great.

Our recent trip on Stena was excellent

Our recent trip on Stena was excellent. After a lot of changes to our travel plans to reach Fishguard and every member of staff were very friendly and made our experience a happy one. There was staff giving out Easter eggs to kids and tickets for a raffle who was very friendly to the staff in the duty free who were great fun and very helpful. Even the cafe, it was reasonably priced unlike most places these days. Stena kept us up to date with times as there was more travelling then expected due to Irish ferries cancelled ferry that morning which we should have also been on. The ship wasnt a stena ship but a smaller one but could.not fault it, lovely ship. We will only be travel with Stena to the UK from now on after our fabulous experience with them.
