I had a question I wanted answered about Investing in Stocks on Step, and one of their online assistants named Koi responded within an hour and answered all of my questions thoughtfully. He even provided information from different websites to back up what he was saying.

They never fail to help!
Every time I file for a dispute because of not receiving something or false charges they never fail to help! I struggle with money so even the littlest amount lost is a lot and their team has never failed to help me. They’re very understanding and polite!!

Super disappointed in the end
Super disappointed in the end. This is nothing more than another "big bro" bank hoarding your money. After working as a teenager for a few years I tried to close my account and transfer my money to another institution. They throttled me to my transfer limits and it's going to take me months to be able to close my account. Stay away and chose wisely!
Update: it took some back and forth but this was finally resolved.

If I could rate this company a zero, I would. No live customer service and it takes forever to get help with anything!
Multiple fraudulent charges- non existent vendors charging through paypal, online gambling, the works. Thankfully, the first transaction cleared out the super small balance, and the 6 additional attempts to defraud my account were denied due to no balance.
I attempted to enter a dispute and they gave me a lengthy canned description that was auto generated how they said it is valid charge. I asked for proof of who the vendor since it is obviously a fraud… radio silence.
Thankfully, this card was only used to give my children allowance so the money STOLEN from me was nominal.
Don’t use!!!

If I could rate this card a zero I would there’s no benefits they charge fees even if it says there’s no fees and even if you get monthly deposits still can’t use the borrow feature there really isn’t anything good this card offers. So before getting the card research the Chime card has way more benefits with less hassles and you can speak to customer services whenever you’d like and has way more rewards and perks. I hope you never have to speak to someone cause they don’t have customer service number. And, they are rude and have attitude.

Hi there! While Step has no fees for regular usage, there is a minimum funding fee of $0.50, however this is easily avoided by adding more than $20 to your account at a time! Sometimes Borrow eligibility may be reviewed, but that's okay! It's always available again once you meet the needed requirements.
