Pretty decent for a mobile banking plus you can build credit. Every problem I have is resolved by their staff in timely manner.

I had accidentally sent money to my daughters account that she no longer has access to and an amazing woman named Kayla was able to switch that account so that I could have access to it from my account and send the money back to myself!! Not only was she very helpful but she was very patient and kind!! We need more Kayla's in this world!!

It’s Christmas morning. I just gave my kids their bank cards as part of their Christmas. And it wouldn’t be Christmas without a few bumps in the road. I sent them the app to download so I can manage their accounts and neither child could get the app to work for them. I quickly reached out to customer service and just knew that it could be minutes our days (considering it is a major holiday today) before I got a response. BUT within a few short minutes Im chatting with customer support and the kids the are in and spending money. I would’ve never had figured out the issue without their fabulous customer support. I’m excited to see how this works for the family (and trust me when I say I shopped my options for my kids their own bank account). HANDS DOWN 5 STARS SO FAR!!!

We made my experience great is that now I'm able to not only put my money aside for savings but also view my money as well as find other options to satisfy myself without just spending as well as build for my children so that the money will always be there such as investments

Their terms aren't clear. no mention of any fees.
Sorry I signed up for them - I've uninstalled the app and requested they cancel my account - we'll see what happen.
There are better secured card options - go elsewhere.

The support is amazing for this app!. I had a lot of questions about how to increase my credit score and the support person, Josh, was very kind and understanding and did his best to explain what I could do to fix and improve my score. I was confused on how Step’s credit system worked since it’s a bit different from other credit lenders/banks, but after my chat with Josh I finally understand everything, not only that, he gave me a general overview of what credit is, which is so helpful since I’m still new to it.
But overall, Step’s support team have never failed me when it comes to answering my questions and I’m grateful for that! They also respond really fast so that’s a major plus!

The customer service is quick and reliable, and they really do try to fix your issue! Plus, I've been using step (as a teen) for over a year now and have had no problems. I've even got my card stolen once, texted customer service, and it was locked with a new one (with new details) sent out. Not to glaze, but it's amazing :)

not only do I get crazy good savings ( 4% who even gives that anymore!) but also their support team is super fast and always willing to help. btw! i get that for no annual fee because it's completely free with direct deposit

We were looking for a way to start getting our 10 and 8 year old better with understanding money. We felt like using cash would lead to lost change, never having it with us, and constantly needing to go the ATM to pay their allowance. We ended up picking step instead of other options because they don’t charge a monthly fee. We love that we have setup an automatic monthly allowance payment and have set up to savings accounts to transfer a portion of their allowance into. One savings account is labeled savings for big purchases they want to make down the road and the other is labeled give where we plan to have them make a donation at the end of each year. This service allows us to easily transfer money between our kids and my husband and I and we now have added their cards to our Apple wallet which will allow us to make purchases when they leave they their physical card at home. This is all so much easier to manage than cash and love it’s free! Our kids don’t have phones, so we needed an option that we could fully manage for them.
