I have been a patient at S-Thetics for 7 months now and I am loving the journey and the results. Dr Balaratnam has been listening carefully to my wishes of facial rejuvenation, educated me on my concerns and offered different treatment options such as fillers, skincare and hydra facials. Dr Balaratnam offers only treatments backed by science and she explains them in an empathetic, clear and thoughtful manner with particular focus on what they can do for me giving me the confidence that they will help me. I am loving the results!
Dr Balaratnam has an amazing team at the clinic, who go out of their way to make you feel relaxed and at ease at all times, nothing is ever much trouble for them. The day after each treatment Sana or Dr Balaratnam herself have phoned me to enquire how I am feeling, discuss any concerns or answer any questions. Daria provides the most wonderful and relaxing hydra facial!
Not only do I recommend the treatments at S-Thetics, but also the overall experience and care delivered by all.

I have been visiting the clinic since it opened seven years ago. I had a small amount of filler many years ago but more reently have become increasingly unhappy with my seemingly rapid aging in my lower face. The results of the careful administration of various types of filler was amazing. I went in exhausted and looking my age and came out 10 years younger. And the best thing - no one has noticed a thing - but I know and I am delighted.

Having just turned 50 I decided to take the plunge and seek some professional advice on facial rejuvenation. I have been following S-Thetics in Beaconsfield on Instagram for some time and was always impressed with the knowledge and information provided by Dr Sherina Balaratnam.
I booked an initial zoom consultation with Dr Balaratnam followed by an appointment in the stunning, discretely located clinic in Old Beaconsfield. After some skin analysis using the Visia machine I was able to see deep into the layers of my skin and the damage that had been caused over the years, through sun exposure etc. I had a wonderful hydra and oxygen facial with lymphatic drainage (I may have fallen asleep during this!) and was recommended some amazing pro heal I S Clinical skincare to use. (Without any pressure) I had a follow up appointment 2 weeks later for some facial filler and anti wrinkle injections. At this point I was again examined with the Visia camera and the improvement in my skin quality in this short time was incredible. I was delighted with my results and my skin continues to improve. I feel glowing.
Throughout all of this, the staff at S-Thetics have been incredible, from booking/rearranging appointments, calling me after my appointments to ensure everything was ok….they have all been so happy, attentive, professional, helpful and discrete. Nothing is too much trouble for them, you are always made to feel special.

S-Thetics is professional and superb in their state of the art equipment and treatments. Ms. Balaratnam is an expert in her field and is most careful in educating you in what you need to do to improve your skin. She is careful about preparing your skin for a long term good outcome and listens so attentively to your own goals and wishes. I can't praise her and her staff enough for their knowledge and superb attention to detail. It is always a pleasure to go to the clinic and have a treatment knowing that you are in a professional's hands. I am 65 and have been going to S-Thetics for 3 years now and I can honestly say it is the best clinic I have ever been to and the results speak for themselves. I have been visiting the multi award-winning S-Thetics clinic for around 5 years and have watched the range of services grow year on year. I have had various treatments but the most frequent ones are HydraFacials and EndyMed facial treatments. Added to the treatments are skin analysis photos and cosmeceutical grade skin products to complement the treatments.

Miss Balaratnam makes a point of getting to know her patients and listening to their particular needs and wants *before* giving her suggestions and opinions. S-Thetics is usually one of the first UK clinics to receive new ground-breaking equipment as it is respected and trusted. This means that Miss Balaratnam can offer a tailor-made programme for each patient.

Add to this the professional reception team and the wonderful therapists - Cheryl in particular - and you have everything you could wish for in an aesthetic clinic.

I have the privilege of being treated by Cheryl who is the ultimate professional. She is very passionate and very knowledgeable about her work. She exudes warmth and I have complete trust in her. I am looking forward to my upcoming treatments and cannot recommend this salon highly enough.

I just turned 50, despite keeping relatively fit and in fairly good shape, I have never been able to shift the bulge in the lower belly. My fitness regime is driven by my long term sciatica disorder which literally puts me on the floor at least once or twice a year for weeks at a time. Dr. Sherina recommended the Emsculpt Neo as a way to build the strength of the core and lower back muscles to support the sciatica nerve and as a happy byproduct, I would lose some of that belly fat I have been trying to shift for years….

I must admit it sounded too good to be true, but I thought if it gave me either ONE of the results I was after - Fat loss or strengthened core to slow down the deteriorating condition of my back pain over time, I would count either one as a WIN.

I had a full programme of 4 sessions over 4 weeks in two areas, the buttocks and the belly. Despite having to slowly build up my tolerance for the treatment ( my back problems made me super sensitive) I quickly got up to full capacity.. by the second session, I felt significant strength improvement in my core and back. The exercises I did regularly became significantly easier and I could do more! I had nothing to attribute to it other than the Emsculpt Neo and over the course of the program, it just got better. I could not have built that kind of strength by myself, and certainly not over such a short period of time. 

Looking at the before and after pictures, I can see the significant tightening in my abdominals and buttocks, definition, and even my posture has straightened! Dr. Sherina stayed with me through out my sessions, educating me on the science behind the technology, the background, the future plans of the technology and her plans to enhance treatment plans to attain ever better results for her patients. I find her passion, knowledge and genuine drive to give her patients the best outcomes (even despite themselves!!) so rare and confidence inspiring.

I feel great- I have since had a 5th session, I am determined to maintain this much higher level of muscle strength and I now can take my workouts to the next level. I am a convert, I know this has set me on a course to slow down the aging process and get me fitter for longer.

I’ve been going to S-Thetics for three years and have had the hydra-facial to help with my acne and acne scarring. After having these treatments and using the suggested IS-Clinical pro-heal and active serum they gave me, all my forehead acne, discolouration and scarring have gone away. Last year, I got hormonal acne on my cheeks, but due to the serums I was given, there is minimum scarring and discolouration and it’s not even closely as bad as my forehead a couple years ago. I also have been using the Celluma light which has helped tremendously with my recent acne. I have noticed that it reduces the inflammation and pains of my breakouts, heals my skin and actually prevents some from coming out as it kills the bacteria under the skin.

Very professional and friendly team, each appointment has gone very smoothly. Miss Balaratnam is always happy to answer any questions thoroughly. Couldn’t be in better hands!

I have seen several practitioners over the years but have never found a doctor with such a personal approach and able to achieve such great results. Miss Balaratnam is amazing and her knowledge and understanding of all the treatments are quite extraordinary. At the age of 55 I looked 10 + years older. After years of outdoor living, heavy sun damage, rosacea and VERY visible marionette lines I had hoped I could get a quick fix!

After my first thorough consultation Sherina asked what MY concerns were and she really listened. After the consultation Sherina recommended a tailored treatment plan - an IS Clinical skincare regime and a course of HydraFacial / Oxygen Facial treatments. This alone made such a difference to my skin health.
18 months on, I have just completed a course of Profhilo and not a day goes by without someone commenting on how good my skin looks - it’s quite unbelievable. Then you have the added technology of the VISIA digital skin analysis that shows you the results, both on and beneath the skin - you can visible see the results, (in my case are quite amazing)

At age 76 I do not want to have a plastic 50-year old face, I just want to look good for my age, and it’s clear from the results of my treatment that she understands exactly what I want.
I have a 100+ mile round trip to see her, but I would not feel confident going anywhere else - it’s a matter of trust.

Been going to S-Thetics for a while now. The service continues to astound me - excellent. And this is after having paid for a number of sessions in advance - so in a way, no incentive to keep treating me so well - but they do. Great location, super clean and state-of-the-art set-up.
