My kids had giftcards given to us as a gift and the bait and switch of the membership fees now means it is not worth staying on stockpile. CANCELLING IS IMPOSSIBLE! Error pages everywhere- if you write support they just send you links to membership or a link to cancel that leads back to error page. Trying to make it impossible for people to get their money. i was trying to teach my kids about money and investing, not that businesses will scam you out of your money.

Bought gift cards, my kids don't want them. I was going to give one of them to a friends child but one of the cards redemption codes shows $0 credited to it. Nothing on the website FAQs addresses this - I don't have the app because (obviously) I don't have an account and I shouldn't have to sign up and get charged for a service when it's not working. I tried calling and they just have a recording that says leave an email.

They switched from a helpful investing account a couple years ago or so and have basically been stealing money from my account to pay a membership fee I didn't agree to and have made it nearly impossible for me to close my account

You CAN schedule a phone call with this company if you ask them to call YOU!
This company started charging 4.95 on 8/22. I was never asked, billed or charged tell 10/24 by them just selling a stock I had since 4/18! Without notice! No bill! No gwarning.

Been a customer for many years, however; they are the absolute worst!! A while back they went to a model where you can only reach them by APP as they eliminated web based application. Beginning of the end. I travel and cannot add the APP to my international cell phone. Writing Customer Support is just like pi**ing in the wind..no response at all from anyone. They simply roll-over and play dead when you write to them. I finally had to contact FINA, their regulatory agency, and file a complaint as I have attempted to close my account with no communication back from them what-so-ever. Whatever their original business model was, it was tossed into the can long ago. Its better to double your money by folding it in half and putting it back into your pocket than using Stockpile...that message is definitely from experience!!!!

Monthly fees wiped out my child’s small investment. I was paying more for the fees than my child’s stock was growing. This company has actually cost me MORE than the $100 gift card we started with. Go elsewhere with your child’s investments.

Terrible don’t invest - will sell your stock to pay for their fees…

A bit of a scam

Well my experience with stockpile I went to get some money from my stockpile which I cashed in some stock about $300 and some dollars worth they said you have to wait 3 to 5 business days before the money coming to your account I waited 10 no money when I finally got to talk to a representative which that's hard to do with stockpile cuz you got to go through this last app to talk to anybody they act like they didn't believe that my money didn't come to my account so after they do they research the amount of my return was 3270 how do I get $293 and some odd change back like I don't understand that if you supposed to be so secure how did my money end up going to another account and not the account that I had in there and why can't I get all my money back I came withdraw the money because if I would draw it it goes into another account so I just have to keep putting money into the stocks buying stock like this is totally unfair you can't talk to nobody to get it taken care of the people that y'all have on the app hotline they don't never get in touch back with you for 3 or 4 days so now I came withdraw money I want to close the account but I can't because I don't know where the money is going to go so I just have to keep the money in stockpile ridiculous

0 stars... never informed me they were charging me for an entire year!!!! I have lost money due to unknown fees. O never even used the app!

Total scam. No email stating they were charging a monthly fee. They pretty much stole my money.

I closed my account today. Having been with Stockpile for four or five years. I am a small time retail investor. Less than 2k at peak. With the stocks I invested in taking a dive and monthly fees chipping away at what is left I effectively have zero and would be paying for the privilege of having an account with a zero. If you had tens of thousands of dollars in dividend paying stocks it would be okay. It is literally worse than keeping your money in a savings account with a .03 percent interest rate.

I know that the platform was doing well..
But i have been requesting for a link to reset my password since last year till date , they
have not answered my calls, they don't respond to my emails.

Total scam, no Customer service. I have been trying to remove our money from the app for a month with no luck.

This is the worst company I have ever interacted with. I have been a customer of Stockpile for almost 10 years. I started trading stocks through Stockpile with my dad when I was 13 years old and since then I have just experienced worse and worse customer service. First the website was eliminated, making it harder to access information and make transactions. Then, they instituted a monthly fee meaning that you now have to pay $5 each month for a service that was originally free. Now I am an adult and I am transferring to another firm and they are charging $75 fee just to move my stocks. I started using Stockpile when I was a teenager and I can say now that I am an adult it is a terrible company and a complete scam that has gotten worse every year. Do you children a favor and DO NOT use this brokerage firm.

They steal point blank. For them to charge and then make it hard to close your account. WE" THE people are better then that. I truly hope that if you want to start trading do it ANYWHERE but here . Not STOCKPILE!

Fed up with the fees I closed my account. they blocked my log in so i couldn’t get my tax documents. after many emails back and forth with CS I got the tax documents. when i ask about where my money is i’m told they don’t have my bank info to transfer it to. i find this interesting because they always have it when they need their fees paid. Now they are mailing me a check. been over two weeks since i closed the account. starting to wonder if i’ll ever get my money from them. I DO NOT recommend getting involved with this company

Keeping track of gain/loss should be the bare minimum a trading platform provides and it's been broken for months. Support only gives a robotic, AI-generated response that their team is working on it. How is this even possible?

Started from day 1 with this company. The company WAS NOT fee based in terms of needing a period subscription. Just paid a fee when ordering trades, then they did away with much of the trading fees and life was very merry. For whatever reason, stockpile decided to absolutely screw up and pissed off their customer base by moving from “little to no” service fees to, have period subscription(s) to use the application.

I left. I encourage you to do as well when there are PLENTY of “no fee” online brokerages with serviceable and simple mobile applications. I swear this company just wants to fail, makes no sense being “fee based” when most online brokerages aren’t.

Stockpile is easy to use, with information to help me learn. When I started with stockpile, I didn't know enough about stocks but I did now what i liked and I felt would grow. I was able to choose simple groups, reasonable cost investing and learn while I watched the outcomes
