We are in the process of buying a new Stonebond property in Kelvedon Hatch and hope to complete soon. The customer service we have so far received from everyone connected with Stonebond has been excellent, but a special mention must go to Veronica, who has gone way and beyond to help us through some difficult situations. She has spent considerable time trying to progress the sale on our behalf and never failing to be helpful, informative and pleasant answering all our queries and concerns throughout the whole process. She is a friendly and likeable person, and a great asset to Stonebond. Thank you Veronica for making our life a lot easier. Janet & Ken

We had such a wonderful experience with Stonebond at Wintringham, and I genuinely can’t recommend them highly enough.
From start to finish, the entire process was smooth, stress-free, and handled with true professionalism. Caroline was absolutely exceptional throughout, always supportive, responsive, and incredibly knowledgeable. She made what can often be a daunting process feel easy and enjoyable.
The quality of the finishing in our home is beyond amazing, truly exceptional. The attention to detail is evident in every corner, and it really shows the care and pride that has gone into building these homes.
Gemma’s home demonstration was also spot on. She took the time to walk us through everything clearly and thoroughly, making sure we felt confident and comfortable in our new home from day one.
What really stood out to us, though, was how we were treated. We never felt like just customers, we felt genuinely cared for, like part of a family. A particularly heartwarming moment was when the team helped us celebrate our son’s birthday upon completion. That kindness meant so much to us and is something we will never forget.
We absolutely love our new home and everything about it. The neighbourhood is so peaceful, and it truly feels like the perfect place for our family. We are falling more and more in love with our home every day, and our children are so happy here. I even find myself looking forward to coming home after work each day, which says everything.

She took care of the whole process from my initial interest in the house right through to completion day, I actually feel she made the whole thing happen as quickly as it did. Veronica would probably do a really good job of running the country if she had the opportunity!

We’ve had an amazing experience with Stonebond from start to finish. Veronica has been nothing but kind, supportive, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. Even after moving in, she has continued to be attentive and always available whenever we’ve needed anything. Her care and professionalism have made such a difference.

Gemma was also really lovely, she took the time to walk us through the whole house and clearly explain how everything works, which we really appreciated.

We’ve also been extremely impressed with the quality of the build. It’s clear that our new home was constructed with genuine care and great attention to detail since moving in, we’ve encountered hardly any snagging issues. It’s been really reassuring to see how well everything has been finished.

Overall, we have nothing but positive feedback for Stonebond. The entire process has been smooth, friendly, and enjoyable, and receiving a thoughtful welcome gift on completion day was the perfect finishing touch. I was not planning to move, however, liked the idea of a new house that I would have to do little maintenance to. I completed on 28th November 25 and part-exchanged my existing property. this all went very smoothly. Veronica helped move the process along when the Solicitor was a little slow in response to my queries.

We thought it was a nice touch to receive a welcome gift when we moved in which was left in our kitchen.

Since moving in there have been a few tasks that have needed addressing, which have been tackled swiftly. Today we had a handy man visit us for the day. He put beds together, hung up a bathroom cabinet and some pictures. In a few weeks time we will be visited again by customer care to address any snagging. So far, we have nothing but positive feedback. Long may this continue!

We had an excellent experience with Stonebond from start to finish. There were no delays at all, and we even received our keys exactly on the planned completion date. Since we bought our home off-plan, the sales team made sure to keep us updated at every stage, which really put our minds at ease.

The house itself is very well built. We carried out a full snagging inspection and only found a few minor cosmetic issues, all of which were resolved promptly and professionally.

A special mention goes to the customer support team – Gemma and Marius have been absolutely fantastic. They were always responsive, helpful, and genuinely cared about making the after sales smooth for us.

We were initially quite worried about buying a new build, but Stonebond completely changed our perception. No regrets at all!

Just want to commend the Stonebond customer care and after sales team, 9 months after moving onto the Woodbanks development. Obviously when purchasing a new property there are going to be issues, what I can say is that as soon as we contact the customer care team with a problem it has always been dealt with quickly and efficiently by either the Stonebond maintenance team or the relevant contractors. We would definitely recommend Stonebond if purchasing a new build property. Big thanks to Gemma,Abi,Billy and the rest of the team.

We recently reached our one-year mark in our Stonebond new build, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience from start to finish.

We viewed many major developers (Bellway, Taylor Wimpey, David Wilson, Cala, Barratt, Morris) but Stonebond build quality immediately stood out—superior craftsmanship, thoughtful layouts, and a specification that included what most developers charge extra for. Flooring, turf, and Bosch appliances were all included as standard, which was a huge plus.

Our timeline was seamless through reservation to handing off keys. We were renting previously and we made Stonebond aware of our termination date and they have worked accordinly to complete on our set date.

The entire process—from reservation to completion—was well organised and stress-free. The sales team were professional, supportive, and kept us updated throughout.

We booked a snagging survey for peace of mind, and only minor cosmetic issues were found. These were fixed within a week, and we’ve had no major issues since moving in. One year later, we still absolutely love our home and have zero regrets, with the sales team always keeping in touch to ensure we are happy in our home, amd we also received a pen written note from the COO on our first year completion.

Based on our experience, we would confidently recommend Stonebond to anyone considering a new build. Quality homes, transparent processes, and excellent and thoughtful customer care.

AVOID!!!!!!! Absolutely disgusting bunch of charlatans. On the day of completion of our new house stonebond decided at the 11th hour to announce they would no longer be paying the stamp duty on the property which is what they advertised and what attracted us to buying with them in the first place. So either pay up or the deal falls through, so we had to beg and borrow £27k from family or we would've lost over £6k in solicitors fees, deposits etc. Stonebond couldn't have cared less they are absolute cowboys of the worst kind. Do yourselves a favour and buy from someone else. I'm now dreading what the after sales will be like if this experience is anything to go on!!!

My experience working at this company was disappointing. The management lacked clear communication, and there was little opportunity for professional growth. While some colleagues were supportive, overall the work environment felt disorganized and stressful.

We have had great experience with stonebond starting from reserving the property, to move-in and then the after care services. Everything went so smooth, and we are so happy to choose them.
Special appreciation for their handyman, Marius. His work was amazingly good. Did more than what we asked for :)

We have just moved in to the Woodbanks development in Takeley. From the start we have had nothing but the best experience. Veronica in the sales office along with the team have really looked after us throughout the process. Stonebond have the most wonderful customer service team that ensure any snags are dealt with immediately and to a high standard. All the staff are happy and polite and a pleasure to speak to!

I’ve just moved into a lovely three bedroom house in Waterbeach. With Stonebond you get help for the day to put up things like loo roll holders and other helpful necessities around the house. Marius, my diy guy for a day, proved worth his weight in gold. Such a cheerful guy when you, as a new arrival, might be a little unsure on most things. A job well done. Best home move experience ever!! What a fantastic brand Stonebond have created! Our home move was completely stress free. The customer service was 10 out of 10, Stonebond have thought of so much to ensure the whole process a positive one!

We have very recently purchased new home at Takeley Woodbanks Bishop’s Stortford developed by Stonebond. Apart from the quality and spacious housing I must admit Stonebond has amazing staff and the main reason we been able to buy this amazing property due to it’s sales manager “Veronica Simes”. I found her thorough professional, fully committed, honest, collaborative, problem solving, very friendly and flexible with very positive attitude.
At the last but not the least I would also mention about the leadership qualities of its senior sale's manager Sharon Gibson.

After sales Gemma and Amy are taking a very good look of our property and we are definitely 100% satisfied with our new home. Thank you Stonebond and your team.

Veronica has been amazing from start to finish always at the end of the phone to answer any questions or queries.
We would definitely recommend Stonebond to anyone wanting to buy a new build.
Any snagging problems we’ve had have been dealt with promptly by Gemma and her team.we have also been very impressed with the service from the maintenance team.
We cannot recommend Stonebond enough.

Appalling customer care due to drainage issues at Stableford Green, Bishops Stortford - from the Head of Customer downwards, they consistently delay responses to issues, kick the can down the road and their stock answers are “ it is wet, gardens get wet” - both our front and rear gardens are ruined and due to their own delay tactics we are now “ out of warranty “, despite raising two tickets in the allotted time frame, they are exceptionally well coached to deliver meaninglessness answers and when you have the photos and answers at your disposal, they find an excuse not to visit - Please spend your money elsewhere and like other owners giving reviews, it is not a location specific issue but a Stonebond issue that have no desire to look after their customers and just take the cash.
Please take the above into consideration when dealing with Stonebond

We’ve previously reported surface water issues at our development, The Crescent, before First Port took over, but the experience with Stonebond Properties has been nothing short of frustrating. Despite highlighting concerns about water pooling on the road—posing safety risks to residents of the development and local residents of the community—Stonebond continues to deny any responsibility.

Their response? They insist the drainage meets “adoptable standards” and claim there are no defects. Yet, residents are left navigating unsafe conditions and being directed to raise the issue with the management company, First Port.

It’s incredibly disappointing that a company of Stonebond’s size refuses to address an issue that not only endangers residents and potholes have also appeared on a road that is barely over a year old, potentially leading to future costs for homeowners. Safety should always be a priority, and the lack of accountability here is telling.

If you’re seeking a developer that stands by its commitments and cares about its customers, I wouldn’t recommend Stonebond Properties.
