Decent PCs at good prices
Decent PCs at good prices. I ordered a grade C Dell and it's great, a few external marks which I don't even notice. Ordering via the website is very easy and the delivery was very quick. It would be useful if the company offered some basic instructions on setting up the PC, it wasn't entirely obvious!

I’m very disappointed with my recent experience. I purchased an item, after placing the order, I received a message after few days saying the item had “failed” and would not be delivered. This suggests the item was never properly tested or even available in the first place. It’s frustrating and is time wasting when you been looking for such things for a long time and you need it for your trip. I hope your team reviews its listing and quality control process, because this kind of experience affects trust in your service.

Every refurbished unit we sell is tested before listing, but because we can’t predict how long it may remain in storage afterwards, we also carry out pre-dispatch checks before sending anything out. This means the item you ordered was available and passed its original tests — however, during the final inspection before shipping, it didn’t meet our standards.
This process is designed to protect our customers from receiving faulty goods. In line with our standard procedure, we notified you as soon as the issue was found and offered you an alternative. While we understand the timing was frustrating, the system worked as intended: preventing you from receiving a defective unit.
We take product quality seriously and will always prioritise sending you an item that works, even if it means stopping an order at the last moment.
We appreciate your understanding and hope this helps explain why the process is in place.

Bad luck with Macbook but great customer service
I had bought a macbook pro which was a great deal for the specification. The laptop itself was in okay condition, minor cosmetic scratches and a dent as expected for grade C, 76% battery health and dim display. The main issue however was that the laptop appeared to not have been cleaned at all and was full of dust and grime to the degree that it was honestly disgusting. Given other reviews and how they responded to this case, this seems to have not been to their usual standards, and i must praise the exemplary customer service I was given. After raising the issue, they contacted me within a few days to help find a resolution. After providing screenshots, and discussing with their internal team, they offered me a full refund which is very appreciated.

As for the display brightness, the 2021 M1 MacBook Pro is generally known for its excellent screen quality. If it seems unusually dim, it could indicate a defect, and we’d be happy to look into that further.

I bought a refurbished PC from Stone…
I bought a refurbished PC from Stone refurb about three years ago and it has been superb but as Microsoft has repeatedly told me that Windows 10 will be unsafe to use after October I needed a new PC and I therefore bought another PC with Windows 11 from Stone refurb. I haven't had time to try it out yet but if it is as good as my present one has been. I'll be more than satisfied.
