Just had Strathclyde Windows replace several windows for us (including a very long row on the front of an extension) Very happy with the whole experience. No hard sell techniques, just useful advice and suggestions from Alan on the initial visit. We were kept up-to-date on the timing, and Scott and William did a great job on the fitting. Very good finishing and left everything neat and tidy afterwards. Check up call from Gordon afterwards, to make sure we were happy with how everything went. Would definitely recommend!

I have used Strathclyde on a few occassions now for 1 Dormer Bay and 4 large tilt and turn windows in kitchen, bathroom, study room and bedroom, I was recently back at the apartment for the month of August in between changing tenants, refurbing top to bottom and I just decided to bite the bullet and finish the other windows so the whole 7 bed duplex would be double glazed. This included a large Bay Window-3 huge sections, a dining room, smaller bedroom and the main bedroom with 2 large windows - so 7 very large windows in all. Gordon was great on the phone and remembered me from previous orders, he quoted on the spot as he knew the buildings int he area, Alan was even better in person when he came to price up, there was a slight disagreement on pricing from the company phone quote but Alan graciously accepted the confusion on the company's side and the initial quote was adhered to which dropped £1000 on the home visit quotation. (the windows are old sash systems so the extra work is a lot more than normal) so overall the cost was absorbed by Strathclyde which was perfect for what I was wanting to do and spend. 1 week later the surveyor came, very swift and 3 weeks later the windows were installed. Tenants are very happy as the cold weather is just starting to build up, not to mention Storm Amy which has just finished. Heating bills will be much less this winter compared to normal. Many thanks guys, very professional throughout and truly looking after your clientele. Unfortunately I will not be coming back to you with another order on this house as it's all done now :-) however, I am planning to purchase other properties in the area and rest assured, if they need double glazing, you're the guys I will be calling

Being a first-time homeowner, I was a little anxious about choosing the right company to install new windows — but Strathclyde Windows completely exceeded my expectations.

From the start, Gordon was incredibly helpful and reassuring. He was always available to answer my questions, explained everything clearly, and made what felt like a big job seem simple and manageable. His communication throughout the process was outstanding.

The installation team was just as impressive. They arrived on time, worked efficiently, and were very friendly and respectful. What really stood out to me was how thoughtful they were with my young and skittish cat. I had to be at work during the installations and was worried about leaving him alone, but the team made sure to check on him and always safely closed him in another room before starting any work. That level of care really meant a lot.

The new windows look fantastic and have already made a noticeable difference in warmth and sound insulation. I’m so glad I chose Strathclyde Windows and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone — especially fellow new homeowners.

My neighbour recently had all her windows and doors renewed by the company. They made a fantastic job and the price was very fair. I had the company out to supply fit new French doors. Unlike some glazing company's there was no hard sell and an honest fair price. They worked around my schedule and fitted the doors perfectly, the fitting team where fantastic very polite and very clean no mess at all.
All in all a great company great service and very comparative pricing.

I recently bought a new flat, and decided I wanted to change the windows and door. After dealing with a few companies, I contacted Alan at Strathclyde Windows. Alan, arrived at the agreed time, and took a wee tour round, then asked me what I wanted. I explained my needs, and without all the sales pitch nonsense, he showed me exactly what I wanted. A few days later, the drawings and pictures of how my windows would look came through, and all looked amazing. Set date for windows to be installed, and although I could not be at home for installation, when I did get home, apart from my fabulous new windows and door, you would have never known his team had been in, place was spotless. Massive thanks to all, Alan, Andy and Billy. Amazing service, and brilliant workmanship. I would highly recommend.

We recently had work done by Strathclyde Windows and couldn’t be happier with the result. From start to finish, the team were professional, reliable, and a pleasure to deal with. The quality of the windows is excellent, the installation was carried out quickly and with great care, and everything was left spotless afterwards.

From first enquiry to care after installing our four new windows, Strathclyde Windows were great. Alan and Gordon kept in touch frequently and provided accurate time frames for the install, as well as thorough information what to expect before, during, and after the process. Their quote was in line with what we expected for the job, and our new windows are working perfectly -- no follow-up visits needed. We're glad we worked with an experienced local company that takes well-deserved pride in their work.

I used this company 8 years ago for tenement flat windows and was very happy with the job, so contacted them again to replace all the windows in my house. From the outset the sales team (Gordon and Alan) were very straightforward about options, prices and timescales. The fitters did a prompt job, cleaning up perfectly, and I’m very happy with the finished product.

My 83 year old mum contacted Strathclyde Windows to replace her old tenement sash windows which were in very poor condition. Gordon came round, provided a very competitive quote and explained everything very clearly and politely to my mum. When Gordon and his team then turned up to do the job they were highly professional, very efficient and replaced all the windows within three or fours days. They also cleaned up after themselves and disposed of all the old windows and debris from the job. My mum very much enjoyed their company during the work and found them to be very friendly and kept her informed throughout the job. My mum could not be happier, her new windows look fantastic and are installed to a very high standard by Gordon and his team. I would not hesitate to use them again and will definitely be recommending Strathclyde Windows to friends and family.

Couldn’t have hoped for a better experience having our windows replaced. Shopped around for a fair while before coming across Strathclyde and felt reassured by the 5 star reviews which were spot on to my own experience.

Gordon and Alan were super straightforward to deal with at the outset. Alan really went above and beyond finding a supplier who could manufacture our windows and guarantee their integrity given they were over 3m sash.

The fitters were fantastic, great communication throughout and a super quick turnaround given their size of the windows. A really clean finish with all the relevant trims made good inside and out to a standard far beyond what I’ve previously seen from window companies. Really tidy work too, you’d not have know they’d been with the job they did tidying up afterwards.

Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for new windows!

From the Initial phone call from Gordon to getting the job done was totally professional.
I don’t normally leave reviews, good or bad but this one deserves to be read.
I had a few quotes from other window companies before choosing Strathclyde Windows.
They were not the cheapest quote but very competitive.
The honesty and Integrity from the whole team is what sold it to me.
The guys turned up when they said they would and had my windows complete within 2 days.
Scott and William worked so well together it was like the same pair of hands.
P.S I’ve got to add, their hoovering skills are brilliant too.

From start to finish excellent service. The fitter of my windows where also excellent I certainly would recommend this company.

We were in need of replacing all the windows in our property and contacted a couple of the bigger well known players in the industry and a couple of smaller companies.

After a horrendous 3 hour long visit from one of the better known companies, and an eye watering quote to match, we were beginning to regret ever starting the project to be honest, until we started dealing with Strathclyde.

Right from the first call with Gordon we knew there was going to be none of the usual nonsense that window companies are infamous for. Everything was straight forward, explained well, and he told us Alan would come and measure up and be in and out our house in under an hour.

As soon as I met Alan I felt reassured as again he didn't mess about with all the sales nonsense, just showed us our options, explained how the process worked, got on with measuring and was in and out in well under the hour as promised.

A detailed and easy to follow quote followed and the pricing seemed fair, and significantly less than the previous one we had received.

At this point we just went with the gut and appointed Strathclyde and we are so very glad we did!

A couple of other quick house visits to go over the options and survey the windows fully and we were good to go.

We were given an install date of 4-6 weeks and true to that word got a call from Gordon after 5 weeks to arrange the install.

The install team were incredible, absolutely transforming our house inside a day and a half, and we had a lot of windows!

Nothing was too much trouble, the guys were courteous, clean and extremely hard working, I couldn't believe it was all done so quickly and with very little mess.

An incredible job, and we are absolutely delighted with the finished result. Everything was finished superbly.

If you are considering new windows and doors, honestly don't mess around and waste your time with the big guys, just give Strathclyde a call and you'll instantly feel at ease.

Initially, Alan came out and advised what he could provide us with. He was very thorough with his information and went through the products they can offer. Fast forward down the line, we got measured up for what we were looking for and he got back in contact with a quick turnaround as to when they could get our doors and window fitted. The installation was quick and tidy and can’t fault the guys on the job at all. We will definitely be back in touch when we are ready to get the rest of the windows replaced in our house.
