They miss-represent themselves as a modelling agency looking to recruit models. They are NOT. I received an email (from Model Bookers) saying I had been accepted as a model and I just need to do their "assessment photo shoot" as they "now need to see how you look and perform in front of the camera". However, they are just a Photography studio (A-List Studios) who do not offer any modelling work - which they clarify in the FAQs (small print in their email from Studio Bookings). If you go to A-List Studios, ANYONE can make use of the 'test shoot', which is free, as they only get paid if you buy the photos (or any of the many expensive packages on offer). I felt pressured into accepting the Studio booking. But later, after some research, when I asked questions about which agencies they work with (as I didn't want any duplication, as I'm already with some agencies), and how they actually work with modelling agencies, they hung up on me. They then sent me an email saying "my application to become a model has been declined." I'm glad I took time to read the FAQs and to press them for some answers. The fact they hung up on me, really cleared up what they are up to, which is - they are not an agency, they are a photography studio, and are using this as a way to get money out of you.

I had a fantastic experience at Platinum Models! The staff was incredibly kind, patient, and professional throughout the entire process. They made me feel comfortable and supported, answering all my questions with genuine care. The atmosphere was welcoming, and everyone was so lovely to work with. I truly appreciate their guidance and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to start or grow their modeling career!

Everyone was so welcoming and nice lovely they could see I was nervous so they took their time with me

It felt so free and fun from the moment I stepped in the studio for first shoots! All those beautiful ladies studio assistant, photographer and studio manager and Henna in the end.( very unfortunate I did not ask and learn all of the names( obviously nervous firstly and excited afterwards). Henna gave loads of info and came up heaps of ideas about how I can go about this possible career, offered help, encouraged me to put some more time and energy for satisfactory results which she convinced me that Iwould get in the end. Even if I don’t get into the industry anyway, that day in Platinum Models boosted my self confidence brought me to another level self-belief. Million thanks to all these suppportive beautiful ladies, who made my day, maybe my way to catwalk one day:)))

Wonderful Experience at Platinum models

I attended platinum models with my 17-month-old on 21/3/25 and we had such a fantastic experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel comfortable right away. They were also highly professional, ensuring that everything was well-organized and tailored to accommodate young children.

My little one had a great time, and I really appreciated the warm and engaging environment they created. It’s clear that the team genuinely cares about their work and the families who visit. I highly recommend platinum models to any parents looking for a fun and supportive space for their little ones! We’ll definitely be returning.

Awful experience wasn't very welcoming or child friendly waited a while for them to even open the door for us 😕.

I can’t believe that I was nearly scammed for £750 yesterday it was busy being a Friday at the studio it all seemed good great staff to hide the fact that they’re scamming people I feel sorry for these staff members will soon to be left with no jobs. Many of fake reviews on here.
I warn anyone before they even waste there time going they’re con artists.
I traveled and wasted 4 hours of my time.

Before I went there I said there’s no costs Kirsty who was on call to me said there’s no payments to be made sorry for mentioning your name however you looked very vulnerable being pressed to do a job as such as this.

Joe well he goes by the name Joe but I highly doubt it tried demanding £750 and couldn’t even tell me weather I’d get a job or not.

If they have 10/20 people a day even if only 10 of the 20 people paying £750 that’s £7500 a day they are scamming people.

If any agency asks for money do not hand over a penny if they have jobs for you they can take there cut out of each job you do.

Don’t trust these people

I typically don't leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to do so after my experience with these fraudulent individuals. I had a photoshoot on January 29, 2025, and on the day of the shoot, I was pressured into signing a paper stating that I had received their services and paid £600, even though I explained that I couldn’t afford it. The woman insisted I could pay by credit card, and I felt intimidated, so I paid. To this day, I haven't received any photos from that session. Also I haven't received a response to any of my emails. I should have checked reviews beforehand, as I definitely wouldn't have gone there. They're nothing but scammers.

Urban appeal to a creative environment and friendly surroundings

I was scammed an amount of 400 pounds. All the narrations about them being a fraudulent organization is true. That day, I was taken by sursprise but you know what, the experiences strengthen me and give me hope to find resolve in the Court. Imagine a lawyer taking you to court on a case of fraud. Just wait for the time. It will come. I told them I needed a refund, we litigated it over the emails and they didn't refund. Since August, I have been quiet. Today I chanced on a BBC post that uncovered another team that has been sentenced for this fraud. I took the time to write to them again this morning reminding them that I will take them on at the right time. Even if it's five years or ten, I will do that. Dear Platinummodels, check your records with the name Alex Adevu; I haven't forgotten you at all.

The shoot went very well. Everyone was very welcoming.

The directions were clear and it's close to a tube. The staff were welcoming, helpful and professional, filling me with confidence for my shoot. The results seem to be good as I was contacted by an agency very soon, and have been taken on. Thanks!
