Changes in Renewal Policy and new bikes
I was concerned that if I changed my bikes the premiums wouldn't change to reflect new bikes and sale of old bikes.
The member of the team who I spoke to helped a lot in clarifying the position and setting up a altered policy to cover the new bikes. Once the old bikes are sold the policy will reflect that and charges will be pro rata.

I would highly recommend Sundays Insurance. After a theft of my battery tube from an e-bike, William filed and swiftly sorted my claim; I was reimbursed within 24 hours! William was beyond helpful, understanding and clear. I've never had such a good experience with any insurance company.

No claims so far but the service we have had in terms of understanding and buying the policy has been great. No hard sell, replies to mails the same day and at all times the team members have been friendly and have given the impression nothing is too much trouble. I consider the policy to be a fair price too.

I insured my electric bike thinking it was a good insurance based on reviews. I guess they do a better job only with normal bicycles.
That’s what happened:
parked and locked my bicycle - when I got back to it it was on the ground like
Someone tried to do something with it maybe tried to
Steal it.
The bike wasn’t working anymore and I took it to an authorized dealer, they had to replace the motor and the controller. Cost $1100 which I paid and I was sure I would get my reimbursement.
WELL it did happen!!! They denied my case saying “it was wear and tear problem”. Bike was working perfectly before and I never had a problem.

Ps: I’m 45 year old with a good job so I’m not trying to make them pay for something I did. Not that person.

Avoid this company at all costs! Sundays rejected my bike theft claim after my house was broken into in the middle of the night. I submitted extensive evidence (including a 999 call and a police report), and my car insurer compensated me without hesitation. Sundays didn’t help at all. Instead, they devoted all their resources to finding legal loopholes to avoid paying out. Honestly, dealing with them was more stressful than the home invasion. I’ll be switching to a competitor like Bikmo, Laka, or Yellow Jersey for future coverage.

I’ve had a great experience with Sundays Insurance. I’ve unfortunately had both my bike and later my battery stolen, and in both cases the claims process was extremely transparent and efficient. While they do require substantial evidence (which is fair and expected), the process felt very reasonable.

The replacement of my bike was handled quickly, and they were flexible in letting me choose the replacement that suited me best. Their team is highly responsive, knowledgeable, and — most importantly — they don’t try to make things difficult for the customer.

I was pleased to able to add a bike temporaily which was usually kept in France. Mercifully I did not need to claim, but the process was simple and the cost was reasonable.

Go quotes on Go Compare and decided to check out Sundays Bike Insurance as the quote was competitive and seemed to offer everything I needed.
After reading the details, I went ahead and had insurance within 30 mins.

I can’t fault Sundays Insurance. I had an expensive electric mountain bike stolen within the first few months of the policy. They purchased a new bike for me from a retailer of my choice and everything was sorted very quickly considering the value of the claim. You do have to provide a lot of information and documents for a theft claim but this is understandable imo. They are a business at the end of the day and need to ensure you meet the specific requirements. If your bike is stolen and you didn’t follow the conditions then you risk your claim being denied, so reading and understanding the policy is key.

From start to finish the experience could not have been better dealt with. Laure was fantastic at explaining all the steps and making sure that I had provided the correct information. It is never pleasant being in the situation of having a bike stolen but Laure was very sympathetic and helpful.

Quick, simple, no onerous forms to put you off, do what they reasonably ask and it is a fast process. Thanks William!

They just bull shit, they find 100 reson to not giving the claim.

Cycle insurance just secured at less than half the price of my old policy. The online quote and payment process was quick and easy and the team responded to my question about a start date 3 weeks hence.

I was given 30 days free insurance from my bike retailer and jumped at the opportunity. I knew when that time was up that I would be renewing for a full year.
Sundays communication has been on point from the start and I have no complaints.
I always thought I would be using them for my insurance as I had read about their fantastic service through a road bike influencer who is a trusted figure here in the UK.
Hopefully I will never need to use the insurance but it is a piece of mind just in case.

Unfortunately my bike was stolen in London. I had to make a claim and the whole process was really smooth and simple to complete. I received a call the following day from making the claim, from Tristan Kumm, who handled my claim throughout. Tristan was super responsive by email, and got back to me within the timeframe mentioned to tell me the claim was approved and processed. Overall I'm thoroughly impressed by how efficient it was: about a week and a half from claim to bike replacement. It was great to have one point of contact and Tristan was very helpful, respectful and timely in his correspondence. I would definitely recommend Sundays Insurance to anyone with a high value bike that needs protection.
