The customer service was exceptional. After sharing the goal we had in mind regarding the solar system, Sam Anderson explained clearly what would be required and how it would work. He made it all so easy even processing the invoice for the items that were only needed. Highly recommend.

This is the poorest customer service I have experienced, Got the materials to install and a few books/manual's , after opening the packages we found used parts and cabling that had no MC 4 connectors, My data plan on my phone, thankfully is unlimited, because the time spent attempting to get clarity on the issues with the used content are still going on. The directions for someone who has no experience in installation and connecting the wiring seemed extraordinarily trying for someone who has never done this type of work, attempts to finally get someone from SunGold seem almost as useless as the so called Manuals, For the comprimised parts , the one answer was Don't know how they got in there, that's easy some bought our system and returned it ,after sending them a photo of the cabling at there request, The answer for the cabling was that they showed me a picture of a set of cables that were wrapped in plastic and that the photo was what allegedly was in our package. What they did is took a photo of cabling and indicated that what was in our systems package, that what was sent with our system. WHAT DID IT SOUND THAT WE WERE STUPID WITH ALL OUR QUESTION, AND WE ARE TO BELEIVE THAT WAS OUR PACKAGED CABLING. Find a company that doesn't try to pull the wool over your eyes on a hot summer day, I would never suggest, promote or buy from this business again, BEWARE The best information that was provided to get this system finally running was the most recent technology . To us was AI more answers there than provided by the tech at sungold. And of course we were offered an opportunity to by new cabling. HOW GENEROUS

We bought an inverter from them in August 2025. It quit working and we did troubleshooting with them in May 2026. We had to go through troubleshooting three times submitting videos and waiting 1 to 5 days for them to respond all while we are off grid and without power. They have made their customer support overseas and it takes 48 hours to hear anything. Then we received conflicting statements, One saying we would get a new unit the other one stating that we would only be offered a partial refund after shipping. In the end, we paid a lot to ship it to California and waited too long to get a replacement. Well, we never got a replacement. We got the same unit back and we don’t even think it was worked on. We had taped it up in a box which was not the original box and they returned it in that and it was in the same condition we sent that except for now screws were missing. So we tried it again and still showing the same error codes and having the same problem. Because we were desperate, we had purchased another one from them and that new one works fine with our system, so this one was definitely a dud. However, their customer service is terrible. Their communication issues are bad and I would not recommend purchasing one of these units. We are out over $500 and they are not honoring their warranty

I see you sent a reply. We have been working with customer support for weeks now. A response we received is buy a new one and keep this one as a backup (bad move, we did). Now we so you have a back up that doesn’t work and bought another unit as well.

We were also offered a paltry partial refund because “ cora at Sungold states, you have spent time working on the unit and shipping cost ( we paid for our shipping)
which should be what a warranty is all about and we are within the warranty. Somebody at your company doesn’t understand what a warranty is about. They are also reducing the value for use time for a refund. We have tried everything with this unit multiple times connecting and reconnecting as well as after it was returned from the supposed repair. It is no good and we should get a full replacement or a full refund. Here is the ticket number it is in my husband’s name : 24748

He has spent so many hours with this and so has my grown son who is taking time away from work And family as well to deal with this.

We have been off-grid without power so I’ve had enough.

We wait long times for a response, we were told there would be a full refund. Then we get another person, Cora, responding complaining that they want shipping on their end for the defective product plus $ for time taken off for use and $ for working on the warranted product! Everyone should beware buying this product because of it doesn’t work they don’t honor the warranty properly.

I will continue to review on here and appropriate sites to warn others to save their time and money to go elsewhere.

I received 2 broken panels out of an order of 8. Brandon was exceptional in his support and replaced the broken panels quickly. I will be buying more soon. Thanks!

When I first hooked up the batteries to the controller it worked great for about a minute. Then received an error code and shut down. After researching discovered a fan not working took both out and reinstalled them. May have just been a loose connection from shipping. Works great since.

Hooked everything up and it works great, have saved about 700 bucks this month!!!

I bought eight 560W bifacial panels. I have not installed them yet. Took advantage of an Earth Day price special. I am accumulating the rest of my off-grid system -- almost there ($$$).
The panels were pallet-shipped flat in two separate cartons. The packaging was impeccable. They were drop-shipped to my driveway where I opened, inspected and carried them one by one (very heavy) to a storage location. Five stars squared.

Product was easy to assemble and works well. Prices fluctuate to much and tech support is sometimey. I would recommend and if the prices would stop jumping I would like to add to my system

I seem to be very low on the priority list. My battery was ready for shipment to me on the 17th. It's now the 24th and it hasn't been handed to FedEx. About ten minutes out of someone's day. It also sat at Sungoldpower for a long time before anyone looked at it. Service is dismal.

I bought the Sungoldpower 5KW 48V Solar Inverter for my van build based on many positive reviews I have seen before. The inverter is a great unit, instructions are clear, making the connections are easy. So far I am at a testing phase and everything works well. Batteries are connected, outputs are tested, next is to attach the solar panels! I only can recomment this unit!

Setup was easy and it works perfectly

I recently purchased ten 590 watt Panels and five ground brackets . I had to wait a couple of weeks for the ground brackets because they were out of stock ,however I was constantly kept updated on my order and received them in a timely manner. The ten solar panels were shipped and delivered very quickly, when they arrived from a private carrier two of the five boxes were damaged,I immediately reached out to your customer support team and was told that any problems would be taken care of and items would be replaced if need be.i informed them that it would be a few weeks until I could inform them if during transportation damage had occurred due to the fact I had to transport them to a off the grid location and then unpack and install them.Again they were totally understanding. Eventually I was able to get everything installed at my location and all is working excellent.Also I did have a few questions about my installation and connecting to my sungold inverter. I have contacted your sales and support team on several occasions and I can’t say enough about them they always responded in a timely fashion and answered my questions knowledgeable and detailed.i have had nothing but good experiences dealing with all sungold power personnel,I would like to especially thank Erin ,Joy and Cindy for your help and understanding they were very professional and knowledgeable whenever I reached out to them. Tech support and sales for support got my system back running and now I'm producing the 240 v from my 2 inverter in split phase.

The solar panels I purchased do not produce the power I expected and the quality was not great.

I purchased one of their hybrid inverters last year to power an espresso machine for my coffee trailer and it works great. recently bought two more to power my small home in split phase and, while it was a bit more complicated, they were very patient and helpful as I tried to get it to work as well as the first one I bought. it's themes price on this setup as far as I can tell and it's very user friendly from the start, but with a lot of customization availablem

Quick shipment. Panels are over-performing expected output. I added 8 panels at 415w. I'm getting up to 4000w output. I have another 8 to install.
