After receiving a surprise bill I needed a small loan and searched online. It was frustrating. Most short term loans I found were high Intrest with minimum repayment amounts designed to never end. It was so frustrating.
Then I found SunshineLoans. Offering 6 bimonthly repayments I applied on Easter Sunday and recieved it in my bank account the following day.

I've had a few loans on & off with sunshine loans & i've had no problems making the repayments then 3 months ago i've had an injury & couldn't work or walk so I called sunshine loans & they put my repayment on hold after I supplied them a medical certificate. Then I spoke to them once again & told them I want to finish making repayments but since i'm not working at the moment if they can reduce the repayments & I know it'd take longer to finish paying for the loan but at least im paying something, to my surprise they accommodate me & agreed to my request. With everything that i'm going through at the moment them doing this for me made my problems easier. Im so greatfull & so appreciative & so happy they were able to do this for me & help me out. They showed compaction & kindness to my needs. Thank you so much sunshine loans for all your kindness & help towards my situation & knee injury. Even though I put the date the 06/01/2025 it was in that week/month that I reached out to sunshine loans for help in regards to my injury. Once again, thank you ever so much sunshine loans.

Worst experience EVER. They are typical of all finance companies using AI to process applications. Instead of checking with honest in need people on transactions they don’t understand they just assume then claim responsibly lending as a cop out for their laziness even if you have sent proof before they decline. Go to a bank you at least get personalised service with face to face consultation.

I have used sunshine loans in the past they are OK but not great. I applied for a larger loan over a 3 year period to buy a car. I had a phone call to tell me they deposit funds into the sellers bank. Obviously a safety measure for them. But you will lose all buying power as you don't have the cash. Let's face it cash talks deposits walk. What would happen if the funds were deposited then the car got damaged before you even pick it up. What an absolute nightmare that would be. I urge anyone looking for a personal loan to always read reviews. I have nothing against sunshine loans they provide a service that some people need. But the interest is quite high. Last time I used them for a small loan of 300 payed back almost 600. Even a larger loan over 3 years is well over 5 grand in interest alone. Do your homework before applying for any loan. As sunshine loans. Are definitely not all sunshine and rainbows.

I am thoroughly disappointed with Sunshine Loans' decision to decline my recent application, especially after a 5-year history of loyalty and flawless repayments, even with the excessively high interest and fees that Sunshine Loans charges. Despite paying these fees without delay and successfully managing multiple substantial loans in the past year alone, Sunshine Loans now refuses my application without due consideration of my long-term track record.
I find it unacceptable that Sunshine Loans hides behind a generic "responsible lending" policy without genuinely factoring in a customer's repayment history and loyalty. Given my proven ability to handle the financial commitment, even at the high rates Sunshine Loans profits from, declining my application under the blanket excuse of "responsible lending" feels dismissive and disconnected from my actual risk profile.
As a long-standing, loyal customer, I expected far better than a canned response or a "rigorous assessment" that completely ignores a stellar repayment record. There are plenty of other lenders who take genuine loyalty and consistent reliability into account. Moving forward, I am ready to explore other lenders who truly support their clients instead of hiding behind policy, particularly when their customers have shown continued responsibility and commitment.
Sunshine Loans’ approach here has made it clear that they are unwilling to back their most reliable clients, and I am deeply disappointed by this lack of support.

WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT EVER GO FOR A LOAN WITH SUNSHINE LOANS IF YOU'RE ONLY ON A PENSION ALONE!!! THEY DISCRIMINATED AGAINST ME AND SAID I HAVE TO EARN EXTRA INCOME ON TOP OF MY PENSION INCOME. AS I AM OF NON WORKING AGE NOW, THERE IS NO WAY I CAN ACCRUE EXTRA INCOME FOR THEIR IMMORAL LOANS!! THEY DEMANDED FROM ME AN EXTRA $200 A WEEK ON TOP OF MY PENSION, WHICH IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO ACQUIRE, BECAUSE I'M NOT OF WORKING AGE ANYMORE!!! THEY SIMPLY DECLINED ME WITHOUT HESITATION AND DISCRIMINATED AGAINST ME THROUGH NO FAULT OF MY OWN!!! I RANG THEM AND EXPLAINED TO THEM THAT I COULD AFFORD THEIR REPAYMENTS EACH FORTNIGHT WITH "EASE" WHICH WAS THE HONEST TRUTH!! WHEN I EXPLAINED THAT TO THEM, THEY JUST PLAIN IGNORED ME, AND DIDN'T BELIEVE IN ME. THEY DECIDED NOT TO TRUST ME AT ALL (WHICH I BELIEVE THEY DO THAT TO ALL PENSIONERS) AND THEY HAD NO HESITATION IN DECLINING ME RUTHLESSLY!! NOW, I'VE HAD MULTIPLE LOANS WITH THEM IN THE PAST, ALWAYS PAID THEM ON TIME AND I'VE NEVER EVER BEEN LATE WITH ANY OF MY REPAYMENTS. YET THEY STILL REFUSED TO EVEN GIVE ME THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT TO PROVE MYSELF!!! BEING A DECENT, LOYAL, RELIABLE, HONEST CUSTOMER OF THEIRS IN THE PAST FOR YEARS, COUNTS FOR NOTHING WITH THEM!!! SO I'VE NOW DECIDED TO GO WITH ANOTHER FINANCE COMPANY WHO IS A KIND, CARING, RESPECTFUL, GENUINE, HONEST COMPANY (NOT CRIMINALS LIKE SUNSHINE LOANS ARE) FOR MY FINANCIAL NEEDS AND ONE WHOM I CAN TRUST, RELY ON, AND WHO DOESN'T DISCRIMINATE AGAINST PENSIONERS AT ALL. WITH THIS NEW PAYDAY LENDER, I AM ALSO ABLE TO BORROW $2,050.00 ON MY PENSION ALONE WITHOUT THEM DEMANDING I ADD ANY EXTRA INCOME TO MY PENSION PAYMENTS. NOT LIKE SUNSHINE LOANS DO. THEY REFUSED TO GIVE ME A $2,050.00 LOAN UNLESS I COME UP WITH AN EXTRA $200 IN INCOME. ALSO MY NEW BLESS-ED PAYDAY LENDER DOES "NOT" DO CREDIT CHECKS EITHER!! multiple loans with sunshine , never defaulted, in fact i paid back early most of them, then my last application was declined, same job, same bank, same existing debts, good credit score, but no big deal, as i told them , its sunshines loss, 12 months has pasted since and i have successfully done great business with their opposition twice now totaling $4100 and paid one back and the other 4 weeks to go, BAD DECISION SUNSHINE BAD DECISION.

Customer service

All of a sudden "don't meet criteria" after multiple loans and all information is the same. Same income, same bank, same employer bur after paying back EVERY loan perfectly now when I need the loan I suddenly "don't meet the criteria" what a joke

I once I got too loan from Sunshine a loan got one for 300 I paid it off. I got one for 250 then they going to say I don't pay off my loan for 300 and why would it give me another loan if I didn't pay off the other loan so they went to my account and took money than they're supposed to investigate but they didn't I went to the bank and got the statements for the date they say they return money to my account and it was not there but yet they still took my money out for that loan

I have been on this phone and site for 3hr and have not been contacted yet and I have gave them All of my information I need to talk to someone as of now I don't see any good service and I hope they don't use my account or anything else

Had numerous loans through Sunshine loans .
I find them very fair. Great to deal with and will help when they can highly recommended.
Their interest is a little more expensive than others .
About the process is quick and easy

Got approved for a loan I can't even access. This is ridiculous!!
