Terrible terrible service
Terrible terrible service. Even if it is their mistake they will not take responsibility for correcting it. Agency partners are on their own. Add to that the high membership pricing and basically ZERO available carriers it's a bad deal. The new platform is worse than the prior platform which is really bad. If you are an agent, RUN. Do not do business with them it's not worth it.

Quick turnaround time for commercial auto policies. We work with them since 2021 and increased our book with them each year. They are easy to work. Quotes ready in max 2 hours. Thank you
Not worth it
Not worth it. Access to markets isn't great. Site is clunky. Requested cancellation, they didn't process and then proceeded to charge me for 6 more months without my knowledge. I asked for a refund just for that time, and they refused despite not having accessed there site once during that time or having written a single policy through them.
Bolt Access: Uncooperative Back Office, Poor Tech
Bolt Access is an opaque software with little to no real backup support for an agent trying to make quotes and produce business. They are built to encourage the production of inaccurate quotes out of their rater so as to generate high purchase interest but these initial quotes are so far below what carriers provide that this produces a misleading impression.
Their worst area however is there phone backup or support. It seems impossible to get a hold of the person who brings you on. And just now I finished a conversation with a "underwriter" who would not look at the quote just submitted without a 5 minute argument trying to prove that I had called the wrong department. Turns out he was totally wrong, I had called the correct department. But what kind of organization hires little Terrier personalities to just answer the phone and calls it "service'.
Their interface is poor, thus underwriters get several calls from those who produce the money that goes into insurance, and these calls are just trying to find out what on earth happened with this poor, low quality rater. Then the underwriters spend their whole day complaining and gearing up for the next phone call getting ready to fight.
Not a great experience
Not a great experience, they say all the right things, but when it comes down to it, it is impossible to bind business in the Northeast with this company. Forget entirely about personal lines...all of their carriers have pulled out. The application process on the commercial side is slow and painful and their carriers will ask you questions that you have already provided the answer to. Their system needs updating and it is not easy to use. I signed up for 6 months, cancelled after one, obviously didnt get any money back, but thats ok. Would not recommend.

REFUSING TO CANCEL MY AGENT ACCOUNT. I'VE REQUESTED CANCELLATION NUMEROUS TIMES. They aren't worth S. On hold for 20 MINUTES+, numerous emails sent to SUPPORT, they even PHONE SCREEN. My advice to agents is to avoid this place at ALL COSTS, THEY JUST WANT 250/M FOR NOTHING. THE WEBSITE WAS SUBPAR AND BRIGHTFIRE WORKS WITH THEM.... ONLY WANTING MORE AND MORE MONEY BUT NOT HELPING THE BOOK TO GROW IN ANYWAY. ITS A SCAM. SCAMMING AGENTS AND CUSTOMERS. ALSO, IN CERTAIN STATES, THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE COVERAGE UNLESS THE PERSON IS "PRIME"... THERES NO CARRIERS FOR SUBPRIME, BUT YET YOU PAY A PREMIUM FOR THIS SUBPRIME SERVICE!!! STAY AWAY.

I contacted Bolt and Jacob my representative contacted me to go over information about the company and how it works. He was friendly, respectful and detailed. After we had the conversation, he offer to follow up. He kept me up to date by sending me emails by informing about promotional offers about becoming a member. I decided to go ahead and take one of the offers which was going to expire in 03/25/2022 and I am now a new member. After enrollment, he follow up by contacting by phone and email and welcoming me to the company. He continued by guiding me though the process step by step. He was helpful, I didn't feel lost. He followed up with a mini meeting to help me navigate through the system, he was very deligent. He made me feel part of the team and welcome. I am happy to have him as my representative, would definitely recommend him. :)
