Over Surveyor Local
Geschreven door het bedrijf
Surveyor Local works with RICS Chartered Surveyors across the country, offering high quality property surveys at a great price.
The surveyors we work with have knowledge of the local area, which is why we ask for the postcode and value of the property when getting your quote. We’ll then match you with a RICS Chartered Surveyor who knows the area.
One of the most popular and common surveys is a RICS Level 2 Survey, a general survey of a home, including any visible defects or issues.
We have helped buyers avoid costly repairs and health hazards, negotiate lower purchase prices based on survey results, and proceed with confidence and peace of mind.
With Surveyor Local, you’ll get:
• A fully qualified RICS professional surveyor, with local area knowledge
• Clear and precise property survey report with traffic-light ratings
• A thorough, accurate and fast report turnaround, direct to your inbox
• Next day bookings available where possible
And we’ve got you covered with a No-Completion Guarantee as part of our service. See the Surveyor Local website to find out how this works.

Professional
Professional, competitive and comprehensive report. I would suggest that the valuation of the property was a little conservative, but otherwise top notch.

Very easy to book and the report was detailed and contained everything I needed to know. As were in a rush, I was also able to speak to the surveyor on the phone to the details before receiving the full report which really helped us out.

Additional Homebuyers report
I needed to get an additional home buyers report as I was not happy about just getting a valuation report from my mortgage company. I contacted Surveyor Local, who arranged my report for me. I had the report within three days of the survey. Fast efficient and very detailed. worth the cost I would recommend this company to everyone. I have piece of mind going into my purchase.

Dear Andy, thank you for your wonderful review. Mark was happy to arrange your Building Survey, and we wish you the best of luck in your new home. Thanks again!
Very helpful only minor hiccup
Surveyor Local were great and organised my survey with a highly rated local surveyor with virtually no issue. The only hiccup came when the surveyor local advised I would be able to meet the surveyor in person but the surveying company said they did not do that. Make sure you check with the actual surveyor if you have any more specific questions other than that highly recommend!

Dear Natalie, thank you for your review! We are so pleased that you were happy with the report. Where possible, we try to meet expectations so I'm sorry that you were not able to meet the surveyor in person on this occasion. As you say, it's best to get in touch directly with any specific questions about the report. Thanks again!
Expensive and too short
The report gave a clear description of problems and costings for repairs although it was done very quickly, I was told on the phone that he would be there for half a day and look under floors etc but he only took an hour and commented on things visible from ground level. I paid a lot of money for what I thought was a full structural survey but actually was only an ordinary survey so feel a little disappointed. The surveyor himself was nice and friendly and the report clear to understand.

Dear Simon, thank you so much for your wonderful review. We are so pleased that you were happy with your HomeBuyer report. If there is anything else we can help with just let us know , and good luck with your new home! Thanks again.
Surveyor went beyond the basic to give extra advice
We purchased a house-buyers report. The survey was arranged within 24 hours from a booking made on Sunday. The survey was completed within a week and the report was detailed.
The surveyor also had an in-depth conversation to describe his findings and how they compared with similar houses so we could establish reasonable expectations.
We initially compared prices and found Surveyor Local near the cheapest. The fact we could arrange it all on a Sunday made it easy for us.
Overall, extremely satisfied.
