Very thorough survey. Major and minor issues identified and possible causes noted as well as solutions and notes where further investigation is needed. Photos supporting the report and points to follow up with legal advisor clearly noted. Over all very pleased with service would highly recommend

We had a home buyers survey carried out by Viking. The survey itself covered everything we wanted and more! The results came through by email very quick. I would recommend Viking very highly.

We are purchasing our first home and used Vikings for a level 2 survey. The survey was carried out by Phoebe and the level of service was outstanding. The process was completely seamless and Phoebes huge amount of knowledge has made this process so easy for us and helped to answer all the questions we threw at her. Would 100% reccomend and use Vikings again!

My wife and I have used Viking Surveyors before, so we were confident that we would receive a high level of service and indeed this proved to be the case. The survey (Level 3) was very thorough, and the comprehensive report was professionally presented, detailed and well-written, with plenty of photographs to support specific comments. The price was reasonable, and the booking and payment procedures were smooth and efficient. We have no hesitation in recommending them.

The person arrive on time and done really good job and also as was not there when he left. Made sure house was all secure.

Laura was fantastic from start to finish. I was a little apprehensive as buying an older property but Laura quickly compiled the (very thorough) survey and spent time on the phone going through the multiple queries I had.

I had a few additional follow-up questions later on and Laura was always super responsive, friendly and helpful.

Overall I was really impressed with Viking Surveyors. Clear communication throughout & excellent value - I will definitely recommend them to friends in the future.

We had issues with access on the day of our survey and the surveyor was unable to access one bedroom and the loft. No proactive contact was made to make us or the agents aware of this and instead, we just received a report which stated that these areas could not be accessed. In follow-up emails it was stated that this is in accordance with RICS guidelines, which may be so. Either way it isn't particularly helpful to anyone and I think it is poor customer service not to contact us to make us aware of this. As buyers we have no control over access at the property, so we must trust that everyone involved will make sure the survey can go ahead as planned. For the surveyor to return to the property to finish the survey that they had already been paid to do, we would have been charged again, almost half the original survey amount. Whilst Viking Surveyors are happy this is in accordance with RICS guidelines, I think it is poor customer service not to call and make us aware of issues with completing the survey.
