So pleased with the service received - thank you! Survey was booked and completed quickly, with notifications at every step so I could stay updated. Report was well written and comprehensive, easy to understand and all points covered. Property was non-standard, surveyor did a great job picking up all important areas for consideration.

I have used Viking Surveyors for a Level 3 survey and as a first time buyers we have been very pleased with the service provided. The price was reasonable, and the booking and payment procedures were smooth and efficient. The survey was very in details presented, profesional , with plenty of photographs to support specific comments. We have no hesitation in recommending them.

Very polite receptionist and fantastically detailed level 3 which highlighted several issues without being terrifying.

Only thing that irritated me was
With the 5 working days turn around they mean 6 days due to system issues where it'll send it to you at midnight at the end of the 5th working day or 1 am on the 6th working day and no earlier, even if it's ready.

Otherwise a fairly priced great service, I would use again.

A very comprehensive report and we received the report within 2 days

We have used Viking Surveyors twice now, and both times their response has been brilliant. I was amazed when the survey came back a day after it was carried out on the house. The portal is easy to use and navigate. I would strongly recommend anyone to use them when surveying a house.

I commissioned Viking surveyors for a property that I was buying that, in the end I didn’t proceed with due to some of the issues identified in the report which resulted in further surveys and discovering further costs. For my second property I decided to use them again having had a positive experience. However, the issue this time was the coordination element. The surveyor is fine but there appeared to be some confusion when they attempted to contact the estate agents so the surveyor could access the property. My request for the survey involved a garage as part of the purchase. However, the person booking this was told by the estate agents there was no garage. This is incorrect and something I am taking up with said estate agents since learning about after the event. However, rather than defer back to me, aware that I am commissioning this survey, the survey went ahead and on receiving the report and querying why the garage wasn’t included are now being told that an inspection fee will be added if they have to go back. It’s unfortunate this has happened and certainly an incompetence on estate agents part, but the concern I have is that due process wasn’t followed it seems. The estate agents are only enabling access they are not the paying for the report. So, it shouldve been brought back to my attention.

Very thorough. All staff I had contact with were polite and helpful. Acted fast as well. Jack did a level 3 report which was detailed and full of helpful photos. Report sent the following day. Had a query which was answered quickly in person. Thank you so much. Very reassuring.
