Unfortunately I’m another that has been scammed. They gave me only 10% refund on my item. That or store credit, let’s face it I don’t want that, or send it back to china at huge costs. Absolute crooks showing pictures of goods they don’t produce! Shut them down.

The WORSE company I have ever bought…

The WORSE company I have ever bought clothes from. Completely scammed me out of £55 just after Christmas. Should have read these reviews but I was excited to order some new clothes! Quality awful and then won’t give me a refund. Disgusting human beings

Avoid at all costs

Do not order from this company website....a complete scam. The items shown in photographs on the website are nothing like the cheap and nasty products you will receive from China. Do not accept their returns/refund options....they are unacceptable. I paid by debit card so I put in a 'VISA Dispute' with my bank and received a full refund within a week....I will also be reporting them to Trading Standards.

Go elsewhere

Well, my experience with Sylverton is as previously customers, extremely poor service matched only by equally poor product.

I refused both a 10% and 20% offer of a refund, I also refused to pay a £25 pound return fee.

A good point though, I submitted a claim through my bank who in turn contacted Sylverton, they then agreed to issue a full refund. If you want a refund get your bank to issue a charge back order, it worked for me.

I gave a one star rating only because a lower one was not available.

Would I use or recommend Sylverton, NEVER

Additional comments added 20 Jan 2026, apparently Sylverton are sorry to hear about my experience with them, maybe they should read all customer reviews, if they had perhaps they would have improved their customer service by providing quality products and a professional customer service … instead nothing appears to have changed, hence the reason for my earlier review, I will not risk using, and certainly not recommending Sylverton.

I wanted to return goods as was far too…

I wanted to return goods as was far too big, was told I had to return to China at my own expense, goods came from London. They advertise free 30 day returns! I am more than angry this was for my granddaughters Xmas. They said they would give me full credit to order something else.
I want my money back!!!

Scam company. Appears they are based in the Netherlands but items come from China. Cheap, poor quality. To return costs as much as the item, avoid!

Already wrote a review - and Sylverton asked me to ‘share my order number’ - I think I have about 20 emails back and forth where they gradually increased the amount they would refund me.. for minuscule amounts - and I kept asking for a full refund and they wouldn’t oblige. Honestly, they are crooks…

Tried to return jumper for a refund, and like others, I was given 3 options, all of which would put me out of pocket even more.
Please be advised and don’t buy anything from them.

Scam

This website presents itself as a UK-based company, with positive reviews and high-quality images that give the impression of well-made clothing. The photos look professional and trustworthy. I now believe this is deliberately misleading.

I first came across the advert on Facebook, which in hindsight should have been a red flag. Unfortunately, I was excited to buy a few jumpers for Christmas and went ahead with an order at the beginning of December.

The items arrived a full month later. When I tried to track the delivery and saw it was coming from China, I realised something was wrong. I checked Trustpilot (which I should have done before ordering) and found many reviews confirming my concerns.

The clothing itself is extremely poor quality.
Every item was badly made, misshapen, and nothing like the products advertised:

One jumper had shoulder seams that were completely out of place and looked awful when worn.

The rainbow sweatshirt was at least three sizes smaller than ordered, and the rainbow print looked cheap and was already peeling away from the fabric.

The material across all items is thin, flimsy, and feels very low-grade.

I also ordered a black cardigan which initially looked acceptable, but the fabric is so poor that I get electric shocks when wearing it, and it hangs very strangely.

To make matters worse, the washing instructions state dry clean only, which is completely impractical for everyday knitwear and not mentioned clearly at the point of sale.

I have not returned the items because the return costs would fall on me, despite the products being misrepresented. I have informed my bank as a precaution, as I am concerned about my card details, personal information, and address being held by what I now believe is a fake or misleading website.

I would strongly advise others to avoid this company.

I have emailed Sylverton several times. They are unwilling to refund me and I am processing my refund via the bank.

Shouldn't be allowed to sell in UK

Why don't trustpilot allow people to put zero ratings. Like many other reviewers the winter cardigan I bought as a Christmas present for my wife arrived late and is absolute trash. I will not pay to return it to them. When I've corresponded with them they don't answer question just send robot responses. I'm also getting emails from them offering other products but I'll not buy from them again. I checked the address in the Netherlands on Google maps and it's an office building which rents out desk space so obviously the main company wholly operates from China. They shouldn't be allowed to sell in the UK and I'm certainly going to write to my MP (who is actually Rachel Reeves) to push for government action.

Do not purchase anything from this company! Nowhere in the description does it say they will provide you with imitation, printed knitwear on a cheap hoodie. When I tried to cancel the order, before it had been picked up, they said I couldn't, clearly because they might have to refund me, even though the package sat there for 10 days before collection. There website says full refund if you are not happy, except you have to pay a fortune to return it to China.

Terrible company

Re: Order #ST13126 Hattie | Winter Sweater, nasty, and so overpriced.
I first ordered a check jacket, which looked lovely on the website. When it arrived it was nothing like the garment on the website and made out of some sort of hard felt material. After a long battle with the company, they agreed to give a credit note. I then ordered the Hattie winter sweater, advertised as soft and cosy. It arrived today, it's not soft and cosy, not even any sort of wool mixture, instead it made out of a cheap, thin, nylon fabric. I only wish I had checked the website name first, as this company is a total scam. This item was £40, I have been offered 3 options, a credit note, minus £7.50 for their postage, a partial refund of 10% equaling £4, or I can return the item to China for a cost of £25 (the return address on the packaging was London!). Shocking service! UPDATE - Re the suppliers comment, they have now offered a 20% refund and have refused to offer anymore. They said the refund could take up to 24 hours to process on 12th Jan, and still waiting for it on 15th. UPDATE! - They have now retracted the offer of a refund and instead will put the 20% on another gift card, absolutely discusting sevice

This site should be taken down!!

The goods advertised copy photos of products from other sites and deliver products that are barely recognisable from the original photo.

We ordered a cardigan (turns out to be a beautiful Norwegian woollen cardigan). What arrived was a cheap nylon printed tracksuit top….this site is an organised rip off!

Try googling the contact on the website and you’ll see a track record of similar scams.

If only there was a legal way to take down these exploitative sites!

Absolute dross

This company should be removed from any online presence they are absolute scammers

So bad I contacted trading standards in China

I've purchased goods from China over the last 20 years and have never received such poor quality items that look nothing remotely like those shown on their website

I ordered on the 9th December for Christmas the so called evy winter soft cardigan arrived on the 30th December so they can't even deliver within their 12 working days delivery time

I got a cheap thin polyester hoodie not a shred of wool anywhere

They offered a 10% refund and keep the 80s looking shell suit esque 'cardigan' or pay £25 to return it to China even though from their website they make out they're in Holland, London etc etc

I wished I read their reviews before ordering and noticed they have no presence on Facebook, Instagram or any of the usual social media sites that most reputable companies have

I'm normally ultra careful but the usual Christmas rush made me act in haste without my usual diligent checking now I know what it's like to be scammed

My advice if you've purchased from these charlatans - warn as many people as you can on every online account you have
