This is a scam website, bought a jacket and a ridiculous felt monstrosity arrived. Customer service is AI and just there to distract you, no refund issued. Do not buy from here!

I just wanted to give a heads up to anyone who was thinking of ordering from a clothing site called Sylverton….. DON’T!

My daughter had a jacket on her xmas list. I ordered it as it looked nice. My goodness i can’t tell you what a nightmare it has been.

The Jacket is NOTHING like their website. Completely different material, size, shape, colour, buttons, no label or size, dodgy stitching and seams, etc.

The worst part is their customer service, they have scripted responses, haggling on the amount of refund, saying i have to post the parcel back to China which will cost £25 etc. After over 25 email’s i am still no better off and left with a £40+ jacket that is unusable.

I just wanted to warn people as i wished i had read the reviews first! 🤦‍♀️

NEVER AGAIN. Product arrived on Christmas Eve having been ordered in early December. My relief was short lived. I was expecting a chunky cardigan - what I received was polyester junk. Had I realised it was being shipped from China I would never have ordered in the first place. I am trying to return it but seem to be getting nowhere. This is a scam of the first order and steps should be taken to close down their Silvertown website to protect other consumers.

The item was not as described on the website. When I wanted to return the item they wanted to charge me £25 and their policy was not clear on returns. Would not recommend this company.

Hi Sylverton, my ORDER #9951 was manage by one of your team who offer a 20 percent refund after I challenged the offer to return the item but I had to pay £25. Your refund policy was not clear in this regard and misleading. I’ve lost money due to your business.

Just waited 16 days for delivery of a dress advertised as £50 but reduced to £29.99. What arrived was a piece of badly constructed nylon so cheap and shoddy I’d be scared to wear it or stand near a naked flame. My fault for falling for the advertising and fake photography that made this look like an item of reasonable quality. Customer services very prompt but offered really impractical options for resolution with the ultimate threat that it would cost me £25 to return this so why didn’t I keep it or accept a credit note so that I could buy even more poor quality items from them. The company is in China which is not clear from their website but had I realised this I’d have known what the scam was. A warning to everyone that this company and many others masquerade under classy sounding titles but sell absolute rubbish.

A very poor quality item was received, nothing like the photograph, and not fit for purpose. I asked for a refund, as they advertise 30 day returns, but was offered store credit. As I didn't want to risk the same experience again, I asked for a refund. This time, I was offered a refund of 10% of the cost of the item, or a full refund if I returned it to China at a cost of £25! Lesson learnt - only buy from known brands online.

Appalling and feels dishonest

I ordered goods on 10 December 2025 and was promised delivery 8-12 days.
Goods didn’t arrive until 30 December.

Offered full refund less £25 shipping fee to China.

I will take it up with my credit card company who,I hope, will act with more dignity

Absolutely shocking, a scam website at its finest.
Emailing doesn't work as they don't reply and they try to sell you on items that are discounted.
Do NOT buy from Slyverton, they will rip you off and take your money.
Can only hope they eat shit and break several bones.

I’ve just laughed with my husband reading the reviews of this company. My ‘lovely thick’ winter cardigan from a supposed UK company arrived after Xmas and it makes Temu products look like Versace! We could not believe our eyes when we opened the package- my husband’s face!!! He emailed to return this piece of rubbish and was asked for over £20 to send it back to the sweatshop in China from whence it obviously came. Un-bloody-believable. Shame on this company. I think we’ll take this further with the bank to try to shut this operation down. Order #10523

The dress l got l cannot even fit one thigh?
It’s like it’s made for a doll?
Worst they give you options to keep something you cannot fit or you keep it and get 20% back, return it but it will cost you over £25, on what planet do these crooks live on.
I give up, they can keep the money.

The two Bellamy blouses received today are of poor quality and polyester/spandex. I will be seeking a refund.

Absolutely disgusting that this company is allowed to trade and scam people of there money, nothing like the advertising picture cheap horrible material, no way to return unless pay unbelievably high cost almost cost of rubbish cardigan to return to china.

Do not buy anything from this company the picture off items does not match the reality of the product that I may add comes from china and takes two weeks to get to you I ordered a Eve soft cardigan for my wife pictures shows a nice wool cardigan then the reality a cheap polyester item with the pattern of the item printed on there have tried complaining there options are u acceptable and I will be taking this matter further once again beware of buying anything from this online store

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS SITE. Thought I was buying a cosy cardigan for my mother, when it arrived it was effectively a printed image on material I can only describe as that also used for very cheap disposable Halloween costumes, you might pick up in a supermarket. The Sylverton website looks good but that's where it ends. If you want to return a product, it has to go to an address in China, at a cost to the consumer of around £25! This is a scam, the items for sale are worth less than a fiver in reality. I've had to take the hit on this. Please don't buy from here!

Slick upmarket website promising well made, stylish, elegant clothing but when it comes it is cheap, poorly made tat from China. On their website they offer a full refund if not satisfied but this is not true. You have to send items back to China at a cost of £25. You cannot cancel an order. It is a total scam.
Do not be taken in by this company pretending to trade in the UK with Royal Mail delivery. Be wary of any company which is based in The Netherlands. Read the reviews. I wish I had.

The item arrived and was nothing like the picture, it just looked like a rag. Considering it was supposed to be a winter warm parka coat it arrived in a package that was no bigger than 12 inch square the fur round the hood was disgraceful there was hardly any. And what there was looked like it had been through a shredder the fabric was thinner than a hanky and all creased. Waste of 50 quid wouldn't be seen dead in it

Absolutely disgusting company. Received a cheap flammable thin cardigan that was advertised as luxurious and warm. Emailed and received a scrappy response basically refusing a refund unless we pay £25 plus customs fee. Total scam. Will be contacting trading standards

I placed an order on the 9th of November and I am still waiting, not happy at all. I had a funny feeling when I ordered my ninja slushy machine, to good to be true 😞

Please do not buy from this company unless you like disappointment and heartache.
I would give 0 stars if possible this has got to be one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with.
The item like many others on trust pilot are not as show they are trash.
Please avoid this company they are full of lies and they promise a full refund if you’re not happy just another lie.
They trade in the uk from Amsterdam and ship crap from China.
Then they expect you to cover the return costs they are a joke.
I have contacted my bank to get my money back it’s just been such a hassle.

Item was not as described but a cheap fabric with a printed pattern on it.No interior labels for size or laundry instructions.When I asked to return it I was offered a partial discount or return goods to China at my expense which would have cost over £30.I will not buy from this firm again.Caveat emptor.
