The garment i ordered was nothing like what was advertised, it was very cheap and nasty, my wife wouldn't even allow me to try it on, she threw it in the bin, as it was all that it was fit for, will never, ever purchase anything from Taalita again, DONT WAIST YOUR MONEY FOLKS

BEWARE!!!
Do no under any circumstances order from this company.
I placed and order for a total of £43.95.
The item was 6 wall panels and a mounting kit.
When the order was delivered I received 1 panel. That’s it.
Upon contacting them they offered me to keep the 1 panel and they would refund me £8.79.
When I asked how they have managed to work that out.
They offered to send out the missing items.
As I wasn’t happy to wait another 3-4 weeks.
They sent me an email saying they would refund £36.62 as 1 panel has been delivered,
The panels come in a set. What on earth am I to do with 1 panel not to mention no fixing kit.

Still waiting for response from them.

Awful company, misleading product description, fake advertising and rude customer service.

The products aren’t what you expect, they trick you into buying something which takes 3 weeks to arrive as it’s coming from China - they don’t tell you that when you buy it. If you want to return it, they make you pay for shipping back to China. Untrustworthy, awful company.

Can you give 0 star ?! Should of read the reviews, they sell a great picture of an item! then the items turn up and its not even temu standards. returns?? May as well take the loss, sure they wont be operating for long or maybe change their name, be wary not like me, and check reviews!

Pure SCAM! I didn't do due diligence to check. Spilled £70 on a so called cotton gift box set for newborns. Never again.

HUDGE SCAM. I wait for bag 3 weeks . But thats ok. Its comming from china ofcourse. Yesterday i recive parcel. Ive never been so dissapointed. I send them email that bag i recive is not even in 10 % like on website . They answer that can give me 10% refund or i can send it back but they dont pay for label so i need to pay 11-20£ for parcel to China and maybe they will refund me 28 £ for bag . When i said im not happy for that solution they cut contack . I get scammed ...

If I could give zero stars, I would.

What an extraordinary experience with Taalita. Extraordinary in the sense that I have never before managed to turn buying a simple log splitter into such an unnecessarily convoluted saga.

I ordered the splitter because the product advertised on Taalita’s website appeared to be a substantial, robust cast-iron product. The photograph even showed “Kindling Cracker” cast into one of the legs, making it look like a genuine, branded, quality product.

What arrived?

A thin, flimsy, poorly welded piece of metal that looked like it had been designed by someone whose only previous experience of a log splitter was seeing one in a photograph.

It was plainly not the substantial product I had ordered from the advertisement. Unsurprisingly, I contacted Taalita and requested a full refund.

Their first solution was wonderfully customer-focused: 30% of my money back and I could keep the thing.

I declined.

So they came back with an even more generous offer: 50% back, otherwise I would apparently have to return it to China. They helpfully explained that accepting this offer was “in my best interest.”

How thoughtful.

I declined that too and opened a PayPal dispute.

PayPal initially ruled in my favour and instructed me to return the item. Taalita then provided a return address in Germany — despite previously telling me that I would have to send it back to China.

I duly paid to send the item to Germany.

And this is where the farce became almost impressive.

The parcel became stuck in customs. Attempts to contact the recipient apparently went unanswered, leaving the package sitting there while the clock ticked on the PayPal dispute.

PayPal then closed the case in Taalita’s favour, apparently because I hadn't provided sufficient shipping information.

After a phone call, PayPal reopened the case.

A couple of weeks later, it was closed again for essentially the same reason.

Another phone call.

Eventually, PayPal simply refunded me the full amount.

So, after all that, I got my purchase price back — although I was still out of pocket for the return postage to Germany — and Taalita had managed to transform what should have been a straightforward return of an unsuitable product into an unnecessarily complicated battle involving PayPal, international postage and customs.

There is, however, one positive outcome:

I now know exactly what I think of Taalita, and I won't be finding out what else they sell.

The whole experience left me feeling that the product advertised and the product supplied were worlds apart, and the subsequent attempts to resolve the issue were exceptionally frustrating.

Would I buy from Taalita again? Absolutely not.

Would I recommend them?
Only if you enjoy receiving something different from what you ordered, negotiating increasingly creative refund offers, sending parcels across international borders and spending your spare time arguing with PayPal.

For everyone else, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.

One star — and that's only because Trustpilot insists on giving a minimum of one.

Bought a lamp which to my disappointment on arrival found to be cheap tack.
Extremely poor quality and would recommend people buy from trusted reviews.

Nobody should use this website to shop, as the goods are inferior and they do not give back refunds and they expect you to fund your own cost for return. Their warehouse is in China so postage costs are likely gonna be more expensive than the cost of the item(s) ordered. And in the event that you don't want the item or that is is defective, they will only offer a measly sum of 10% of the original price of the item. Steer clear of this company. Terrible. It needs to be investigated.

Ordered a air of trousers for a special family event. Order acknowledged but could not give a delivery date. Advised them by return that unless delivery could be confirmed by4th September then order toe cancelled and full refund.

Said order was being processed but offered 10% discount. Chased several times and the goods eventualy arrived on 17th September. Advised no longer required and requested full refund. Return email said customer to return to China with a 10% refund about £2.70. At no time did it says customer was responsible for returning goods.

Have threatened Trading Standards and bank investigation. Now waiting their latest missive. Stay well clear of this company.

They sent me the wrong item and refused to follow their own return policy. Avoid at all costs, I believe they use images and descriptions of products which are not what they send. Unhelpful customer service.

Wanted a knots waffle blanket. Found one on taalita, pictured and advertised as a blanket, I then get an email to say 'your order of 1000g of yarn ball is on its way'. I emailed them within less than 24 hours of processing the order and asked for an order cancellation and refund, they told me it was not possible to cancel my order and that I should accept it with a goodwill gesture of 10% refund. I refused. Still they suggested I accept their order, I refused again and explained I would contact my bank for an investigation and refund along with trading standards, within less than 24 hours they processed my refund! Do not let them get away with doing the same to you!

If you are reding this review the chances are that you have been conned already just like I was!
I ordered 3 quick solution grass seed mat for £74,85 on the 12 August. After much woffle and many emails trying to sell me other items i received the mats the 14th of September.
to say I'm disappointed is an understament; absolute rubbish, not worth a fiver and I will just bin them.
I will in future, look up the reviews on Trust Pilot before ordering from a firm that I havent used before.

Ordered a smoke and carbon monoxide alarm for a reasonable price. Received an email immediately with the invoice for the correct amount. Two hours later, received another email to say they had "updates" my order and added a second alarm ( which I had not ordered). Checked my bank account on line and both purchases were showing as pending. Immediately emailed the company to sayI did not want the second item and wanted a refund. Reply came back the next day to say it was too late, they suggested I keep both items and they will give me a 10% refund. Sent email back immediately to say this is unlawful, quoting the consumer law and want a refund. Still waiting for a reply but, as everyone else says, this company is not legit. Steer clear. Wish I had read these reviews before purchasing.

The worst experience of my life ,I ordered a single bed quilt cover ,bed sheet ,pillow case and a free heart shaped pillow ,,they sent me a double ,a flat sheet and a pillow case ,I know now it’s a scam ,,after 30 emails and them telling me it was my mistake and they could offer me up to a 50% discount if I kept it ,,,it’s not what I ordered and paid for !!!! So in the end they said they would send me the 5 piece set I ordered and paid for ,they confirmed in an email what was in the package and it was at the airport ,,,omg the same double quilt cover ,flat sheet and pillow case has turned out ,,the quality is terrible and they tell lies ,,the same email has arrived making me think that this is a scam and there is no 5 piece set ,,I am now charging them £50 a day for storage of there goods ,customer service I am sure is a bott and I am determined to get my goods I ordered and the money for storage of the terrible quality bedding I don’t need ,did not order or have any use for apart from lining my bin ,,massive warning beware !!!! The most terrible experience I have ever had on line ,stay clear !!!!!!!

I ordered a combimation lock from this company, not realising it was Chinese - I should have checked reviews before ordering but hey-ho, lesson learned. After a three week wait I finally got my item. In fairness, I did get the exact item I'd paid for, unlike some of the reviewers on here. But within ten minutes the lock just turned without locking, so totally useless! What happened next is par for the course for most of these companies: to get a full refund I have to pay the postage to return the item, or keep it and get a 10% refund! I took the refund because I want no further dealings with this company or others like them.
Was it a scam? Well for me it wasn't really because I got what I ordered - if it was still working I wouldn't be writing this review. But the "scam" is getting your money back. Now, what shall I buy with my £1.90 refund...

UTTER CRAP!! DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.
BASED IN CHINA

Ordered a code lock for my kitchen as I have a non verbal autistic son who seeks out danger. Still not here, can't track because they make u download an app that adds ur email and wants ur passwords. It was only £21 so it's not about the money, but I still haven't received it, no communication and it said that it wud b here in afew days 3 wks ago when I ordered, never looked at reviews so my bad, but wanted 2 make 1 myself 2 prewarn those who do check 1st
