Positive experience at Bristol branch
My experience working for the Bristol branch of TeacherActive has been a really positive one. My consultant, Dannielle, is friendly, efficient, professional, but approachable, and I have been matched well with an ongoing job that works for me. Dannielle frequently asks for feedback on jobs I've done so they can ensure that the schools they are working with are suitable for TeacherActive staff. I feel that this company (Bristol branch) really value their staff and do their best to ensure a positive experience for schools and their own staff alike.

It’s been a very exciting experience working with a TeacherActive this year. I’ve personally had lot of specialised opportunities from working with different schools to receiving good updates and guidelines.
Luke Jacob has also been a very good model and consultant all along the way.
Next year hopefully’s gonna be more fun and exciting…🔥

Great for LSA / TA work
If you’re looking for TA / LSA work, then this agency is great, as I’ve had long term work with them as a TA. For teaching work however, you can go weeks or months without any work. You get a call every day asking for your availability but rarely will you receive any work.
With that being said though, the schools that Teacher Active have sent me to have been really lovely but its a shame that the work is so limited. The team are really nice too but overall, if you want TA work then go with them - if not, dont bother.

If you’re looking for flexible
If you’re looking for flexible, part-time, or permanent teaching opportunities, including cover teaching, tutoring, invigilation, or other education-related roles, I highly recommend TeacherActive.
From my own experience, I’ve primarily worked with them as a tutor, and it has been an excellent journey. My consultant, James, has been outstanding throughout. He is professional, supportive, responsive, and always works hard to find opportunities that match my availability and experience.
I’ve genuinely enjoyed working with TeacherActive, and I continue to have a positive experience with the agency. They are well organised, communicate effectively, and consistently provide quality teaching opportunities.
If you’re considering joining a teaching agency, I would confidently recommend both TeacherActive and James. They have been a pleasure to work with, and I look forward to continuing our professional relationship.

Luke has been a good consultant.
My time with teacher active overall has been good. My consultant has been Luke for the most part. He is very responsive and kind. The only reason why it’s not a 5 is because in the beginning when my consultant was Alex communication was dreadful. It’s like communication was one way only whenever I tried to call or text him I wouldn’t get anything back.
