Quick delivery.

Took 8 weeks for laptop repair to be completed. Tier3 technician did fix the initial issue but caused a couple more after the repair. No due diligence in checking things after repair. Nearly lost my laptop in between the transfers from Limerick to Galway to Cork and vice versa. Everytime I called for an update, it's either "I don't know" or "call back again tomorrow" was the go to answer. Employees were of little help to resolve the issue. I was told it was very "unfortunate" for me for all the hassle that had happened. Only got a 100eu off the fix price but didn't think it was enough for the stress and hassle they've put me through. Owner came in clutch last second but was not much of help either. Nearly misplaced my laptop charger as well. Would've given no star rating if it allowed me.

Problem diagnosed, repair plan suggested and carried out efficiently and successfully. Plan clearly explained together with possible problems that might arise

Fantastic service from Franco, Soham and Kara at the Tech Star shop in Ballincollig. They were all so nice, so accommodating, so understanding, so patient, they were just fantastic. Used them to help transfer data from phones that were old and for people with limited technical knowledge. They also helped diagnose a problem with a laptop and again with total professionalism. Would recommend them 100%.

Fantastic service from the team at Castletroy shop Dublin Road. Promptly fixed my Samsung phone screen fitted new screen protector too. Highly recommend

PS5 only 18mnths old stopped working dropped it into Tech Star and they were able to repair it for me. Great service and very pleasent to deal with it.

Brilliant, I had my laptop back in one day after a small repair even though they said it would take longer! Very happy with the service, repair etc.

I'm happy with the service and I'd use it again, but according to my experience they're not yet 5 stars. They replaced the fan of my laptop with a new one, which turned out to be defective as well. The repair guy pointed out that the second fan was the last one available in Ireland and that a new one would have had to be ordered from the UK with a 8-10 days lead time. I asked him to order it as a precaution and have it in stock ready for either me or another customer and he said he couldn't. So... yeah, next customer will have to wait 8-10 days for a cheap and small device that could have been ordered in a timely manner.

Dropped in a pa5 control for repair. 35 to diagnose.

I go to pick it up and they want another 35 for the repair. It’s 60 to buy a brand new one, and the funny thing is I brought the control home and it was still broken.

What a joke shop,

Techstar gave me a clear diagnosis of what failed in the old phone
Explored the repair or replacement options with me clearly
When I chose a new phone which they had in stock , Techstar ( Felipe) set it up for me and transferred all my files including WhatsApp from old phone to new phone that's so helpful

Took an iPad to be fixed. The diagnostic was very fast and I was told 4/5 days to repair. I called a week later and was told they were waiting on a part so a few more days. It took over 2 weeks and I had to keep chasing them for any update. When I got my iPad back the screen wasn’t working which wasn’t the original problem. This was repaired quickly though.

I had a problem with my phone as the screen was not showing anything but blue display! I got a new phone dropped it in and they transferred all my data over with than 3 hours! Fantastic service and Thanks to Johnny and his Team in Galway.

Great selection, fast shipping - I had all my stuff in less than 48 hours ( I bought a new gaming computer mouse and a kids headphones, both are working perfectly)

I left in my Apple Mac as the screen cracked. I went into the Apple service shop in Cork city centre where they quoted me a price and then told me it would be two weeks before I would get my laptop back. Went to TechStar which was recommended by a friend where the repair price was quite similar but the job would be done in two days. They kept me updated and my Mac came back to me like new within the two days. Lovely friendly service too. Definitely my number one choice for laptop and phone repairs.

This store is an absolute scam, the pricing they have on some items is crazy, saw a gpu in there that was double msrp for no reason. Also a desktop PC that was at least 400 overpriced for a prebuilt OEM system from ROG

Took over a week to deliver (still waiting), no answer from anyone and was ignored on 3 occasions.
