I needed someone to take me to the test as the test center was far from my home town. I found them online and made the booking, they showed up on time that was agreed and helped me to get familiar with the car and test route.

I booked a test car 3 hours before my test time with them. The booking is smooth but I got a shabby Toyota car. The clutch and gear is pretty rough, the indicators can’t be turned off automatically in time, it is not sensible. The indicator issue has made a dangerous fault in my test. The instructor helped very little when doing the one hour warm up, was chewing gum all the time. After the test, she kept persuading me doing driving lessons with her and book my next test with her in a different test center, for 5, 6 times. Very disappointing experience, I would say they should take on part of my test failure!

Best service I have ever feel, he rectify all my mistakes and I passed my first attempt with him. Strongly advise this man. Thank you.

Had a good instructor that sharpened my driving skills. He took me through calmly all the things I need to know.

Their service is definitely helpful when you aren’t able to bring a car to the test centre and you still need to do the test. Provided helpful tips to improve and get me used to the car as well. Could provide with better cues on what to improve before the test but still overall good.

One point I didn’t particularly like was that approximately 20 minutes of the 1 hour before test time lesson was spent on car washing, considering that the time slot should be used for more practice.

I am very impressed with the service rendered. The instructor met with me about 1 hour 20 mins before my practical test and we had a very useful 1 hour+ of practise. This helped me to get used to the car and build my confidence and guess what? I passed the test on my very first attempt.

I had my driving test in Huddersfield with Mohammed as my instructor. He is an excellent instructor—very patient, knowledgeable, and clear in his guidance. The car was also easy to drive, which made the experience much smoother. I was really happy with the instruction and support I received from him.
Unfortunately, I didn’t pass this time, but that was no fault of Mohammed’s. I plan to book lessons with him again and feel confident that I’ll pass with his help. Highly recommended!

I hired a car for my driving test from here and Shahzad was really helpful, he showed me some easier ways to do my maneuvers and I passed first attempt. He was very calm and collected throughout the time he was with me.

I cannot recommend Shazad highly enough! I travelled all the way from Hertfordshire to Skegness, and despite the short notice, he managed to book me in with less than a week’s notice—something I’m incredibly grateful for.

Before my test, Shazad gave me a thorough two-hour lesson that not only polished my skills but also helped settle my nerves. His advice was solid and practical, and his calm, reassuring demeanor made all the difference in helping me feel confident.

To top it all off, Shazad even brought me a coffee from McDonald’s and kindly dropped me off at the train station afterwards. He truly went above and beyond with his service.

I was desperate for a car to do the driving test as my theory score was about to expire. Glad I found testdaycarhire. They first sent a deposit link which may make you feel a bit skeptical. But, I got the car and the instructor as expected on my test day; and thankfully I passed. Service is fast and can be done entirely online. I can tell you through this review now that it is a legit service.
Once you are given the instructor number, it's helpful to contact the person (instructor) directly and get a few details of the car they will be bringing, just so you can look up the model and try to familiarise yourself with the car type before the test day.
Tips: the instructor given to you maybe coming from far away and may not familiar with the local test routes, they can only help you to get to know the car and instructed you on the road and few tips for exam as a general rule. Make sure you know your driving, don't rely entirely on your 1 hour practice before the test with a new instructor.

Nothing but positives to say from start to finish, what a great service! I was in a challenging position finding out I couldn’t do my test in my own car (due to being a 2 door coupe) only a few days before my test. Shazad and his team very quickly arranged a test car for me (literally 2 days after our conversation) and he was very pleasant to work with.
