Texas Lone Star Tamales Reviews

To be honest, I was disappointed in the size of the tamales. They are very small in comparison to the cost. I was looking forward to tamales that looked more like homemade. They look like the tamales you can buy at the local store. I haven't ate any yet so can not comment on the flavor. I did like how quickly I received them and that there were alot of them.

I TRIED YOUR PRODUCT SOMETIME AGO IT DIDN'T HAVE THAT SAN ANTONIO HOME COOK THIS ORDER OF TAMALES ARE NECK AND NECK WHICH SAN ANTONIO TAMALES SOMEONE MUST HAVE TRIED YOUR PRODUCT YOUR TAMALES ARE GREAT I HAVE NOT TRIED THE CHICKEN YET BEEF AND TENDERLOIN AND THE PORK DELICIOSO IN THE CHILI NOBODY CHILI BEAT YOURS I'M HAPPY TO START OUR RELATIONSHIP AGAIN IN THE PRICE WAS PHENOMENAL THANK YOU TEXAS LONE STAR TAMALES

First bought your product with Pittman & Davis for Christmas gifts. We thought these the best we have had in a long time. (We bought tamales from a man who sold his east of Corsicana on HWY 31 in the 50s & 60s) I think these may be better and we thought his were the best!)
Cinco de Mayo feast....with Hatch Chili store's chili rellenos....

Tamales are the best I’ve had in a long time

Love your tamales, especially the large pork tamales which has ample filling. Flavorful with a hint of spice. Shipping is fast and the tamales remain frozen due to the number of ice packs. Personally, the cost is appropriate for the product. Also, they are better than the tamales that I was getting from the local Mexican Market.

EASY TO ORDER WITH QUICK DELIVERY. WHAT WAS DELIVERED WAS WHAT I ORDERED.

Delivery was quick. Everything was still frozen and in perfect condition. Thank you!

Excellent taste. Size was good for my family.

Love these tamales! I ordered variety pack I love them all, if you faint at heart don’t order chicken tomatillo! Spicy hot like I like it, the pork very flavorful. Taste home made

Prompt, well packed, good customer service. I haven’t tried all varieties of tamales yet, so I can't give a rating on them yet.

Problem with order quick response to correct and reship.
Best Tamales ever!!

I grew up in San Antonio TX and ate tamales many many times so, I was anxious to try your tamales. However, they fell far short of my expectations and were very disappointing. I wish I could have tried one first so that I would not have wasted $128 on a large order.

I was always tempted to order from Texas Lone Star Tamales but it seemed a little expensive and I was afraid of the quality and taste being compromised shipping from Texas. I seen this deal on facebook that really made it affordable and different varieties to try from and purchased mine. These are by far the best tamales I've had other than what is served at true mexican restaurants. Great quality and easy to heat up to eat. I got my money's worth and will buy again.

Your tamales are delicious!!! My only qualm is shipping price.....it's several more dollars per dozen to ship the tamales to me than paying for the actual tamales themselves.....because of this, I won't be able to order them on a regular basis only on special 🙃 when I have extra funding.....sure wish I could afford to order regularly- they are awesome!!!!

Fast delivery and the tamales arrived still frozen.

I received my 1st order last week. All I can say is these tamales are OUTSTANDING.

The tamales were delivered frozen, and they are 😋.

Love the apple 🍎 tamales with a glob of blue bell ice cream no sugar ready whip and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Yummmm. Plus all the other tamales are great too. So many we haven’t tried them all yet. If it was up to me, I’d have them every night.
