Despite a legitimate looking website and social media, after the experience I had with them, I can confidently say this company is not to be trusted. I placed an order in January and heard nothing for months. The email they've linked in the Shop app for their customer service bounces back. I submitted email forms as well as emailed directly to the address on their website only to get zero response. Finally I went to my credit card company and had them issue a charge back. I am seeing now that many people have encountered the same issues as me. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere for your home furnishings.

Refund
I had an order cancelled on 29 January 2026. I was advised I would receive my refund in 30 days. It is now 9th April and I have emailed several times as well as messaged the instagram page with no response.

This company promised a product that they could not deliver. The bed was ordered in November 2025. They were still saying it would be delivered in January. In January 2026 they canceled the order. We have not received our refund. They keep saying it will be refunded but it has been 90 days. Had to file a complaint with the credit card company.

placed my order on November 9th, 2025, with an estimated delivery of 3 to 5 weeks. It is now April 2026 — nearly five months later — and I have not received my order.
Over the course of these months, the delivery date was pushed back repeatedly, with no proactive communication from the company. I had to chase them myself each time. Their last update, sometime in December or January, promised delivery by end of March 2026. That deadline has passed. I have sent two follow-up emails since, including one on March 22nd. No response.
This is not a delay. This is a failure to deliver — both the product and any basic standard of customer service. I am now pursuing a formal complaint.
Avoid if you expect to actually receive what you paid for.

Update~ I have contacted customer support multiple times via email and through the website form, and I also received an automatic reply stating that the team would respond within 3-4 days. however, I have not received any response.

At this point, I am very disappointed with the lack of communication and transparency. Delays can happen, bit completely ignoring customers is not acceptable. I would appreciate a coear update on the status of my order or a confirmed shipping date as soon as possible.
Fraudulent cancellation
Fraudulent cancellation, false claims about supplier, no refund after 2+ months
A month after my purchase, That Cool Living cancelled my order claiming their supplier was "unreliable" and "below their standards." However, I subsequently purchased the exact same product from another reseller using the same supplier — who turned out to be completely trustworthy and reliable. Their justification was simply false.
Not only did they cancel my order under false pretences, but they have failed to refund me despite their own terms promising a refund within 30 days of cancellation.
I have sent three emails over the course of two months. Their automated reply promises a response within 3-4 business days — which never comes. To make matters worse, their customer care email address bounces back, making it virtually impossible to reach them.
I am now proceeding with a bank chargeback and a formal consumer complaint. This company's conduct is, in my opinion, deeply dishonest. Buyer beware.
Cancelled order and no refund
Hi, I ordered the Karup Ziggy Bed frame in November 2025 and they cancelled my order and said the refund would come in 30 days. It’s now March and they have not refunded my money and haven’t not responded to my emails!

I bought a bed on the 13/10/2025. I never received it. The payment was done by transfer. My bank details were requested in February 2026 after my order got cancelled by them (4 months after the order). No answer to my emails since February and no transfer has been made to refund me. It’s 540€ that I probably won’t ever see again. Very poor customer service. All email contacts are not functioning anymore and the only contact is through the website, which still doesn’t help since you get no answer. Very disappointed with this.

I recently ordered some wall art for my living room, and it looks just like the pictures I saw online. Nothing was broken during delivery, and the packaging was sturdy. It gave the area a lovely contemporary touch.

I work for a furniture procurement company in Seattle, WA. We ordered eight tables from TCL in December, 2025 for an upcoming project. They required 100% payment upfront, we paid, they thanked us, and said the products would ship out in early March. Our install is in early April, and since January, we have not been able to get in contact with them after many email attempts. And just today we just got a bounce back on the customer service email saying it is not valid so I think it is safe to assume they are no longer in business even though they are still showing products for sale on their website. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.
Difficult Customer Service
I was given an estimated time of delivery for January, it is currently March and I have not even been able to get in contact with them for the status of my order. After multiple emails to their customer service team I have not gotten a reply or even an automated email that my request has been received.

I order a karup bed a few months ago, order got cancelled and told me im going to get refunded within 30 days, but it has been more than 30 days and still haven’t received the refund. I’ve been trying to reach out to them many times but haven’t received any answers.

Cancelled order no refund
I ordered a Karup bed from this company and waited three months for delivery, only to be informed that my order was cancelled. While I was promised a full refund within 30 days, that deadline has now passed and my funds have not been returned.
To make matters worse, I am currently unable to reach the customer service center as my emails are bouncing back as "undeliverable". It is concerning to see from other reviews that public escalation seems to be the only way to get a response. Proceed with caution.
