I have been following on Instagram for a while - my first purchase - great service and very happy with my purchase.

This was my first purchase from the Fashion Basement and it definitely won’t be my last. I loved all 3 items I bought online. I can’t wait until I can pop in to the store! Customer service was excellent too!!! X

The Fashion Basement is my go to shop for super friendly service - great assortment- fashion at affordable prices - Rebecca makes a point of getting to know her customers and nothing is too much trouble - there’s never any pressure to buy anything but don’t think I’ve ever visited without making several purchases - the stock is just too tempting - feels good to be supporting a small local business too, that I know a lot of hard work and love has gone into, to make it the successful business that it is today - well done Rebecca , keep up the great work 👍🏻💕

Fantastic service from start to finish. Website was easy to use and click and collect service worked well and was very Covid safe too. Clothes are great quality - will definitely be purchasing from there again soon.

Good afternoon,

Please note the factual timeline of events below:

14/12/20 - order placed
1/1/21 - email sent asking for refund (18 days)
2/1/21 - email asking for replacement label as no label found in original packaging (19 days)
2/1/21 - GEORGIA sent another label
7/1/21 - email chasing label (24 days)
11/1/21 - label arrived in handwritten envelope in 2nd class post
11/1/21 item posted back using label provided (28 days)
18/1/21 - email chasing refund

So the even though the above is i would like to point out your own returns policy which states 28 days from ‘the date of purchase’.

I ordered it on 14/12/20 and requested a return label on 1/1/21. Thats 18 days. The label didnt arrive until 11/1/21. Thats 28 days and the item was posted on that day. The fact that royal mail (USING YOUR OWN POSTAGE LABEL) did not return the item to you until today is out of my control.

Additionally, even though the item was bought online on 14th, i didnt not receive it on the 14th as it took some time to arrive. So it raised the question as to whether your policy is consumer friendly or fair. Nevertheless, i adhered to your policy of 28 days.

I request a full refund asap.

Hi Atif,

We would of allowed a few extra days upon return, but as your parcel was returned to us on the 20th Jan. Unfortunately we are very strict with out returns policy and therefore as your parcel was not returned back to us within this time a online credit has been issued.
