The additional webinars that are also freely available on the CGI website were also hugley beneficial. Not only during the course but also after, they are a great way to hear from industry practitioners with real life case studies. Finally, I found the learning support team really helpful as I had to extend my period to complete the course.

I made the self-paced Corporate Governance Diploma. For busy people and tight agenda to attend a on-site program its very good. From all the programs I researched its one of the most complete, that cover in depth all relevant subjects, with a trustworthy certification at the end.

I really liked the professionally designed Corporate Governance Diploma course, both in terms of content and service. It was professionally organized, all information was available on time, and the lecturers were highly professional with practical experience. The learning platform is user-friendly and a great example of what I would recommend others learn from.

The instructors were really good and so were the material. Very relevant content and perfect for anyone looking to become or is already a board member.

The material was well organised,I will recommend to anyone who is having ambitions to become a board member. I also appreciated the support throughout the studies, Although it is difficult to balance between day work and studying 🙏

I struggled to access learning materials and your intervention came late. The classes were late especially for South African time because we are an hour ahead. Multiple type of questions are limiting because one can’t explain according to their knowledge but confined to multiple type of questions. The course is expensive when converting euros to rands that’s why failing has exerted pressure and the course has become unaffordable.

I signed up for the Effective Company Secretary course, took the course immediately and passed the assessment - got my certificate with a distinction.
Then the flood of emails started, I kept asking the CGI to stop sending, there's no way to unsubscribe; very annoying. Often six or more messages every day.
The latest email reads, 'Now that you’re familiar with the learning platform, it’s time to start The Effective Company Secretary.' That's the course I took two weeks ago!

Wonderful online learning experience with a timely support when needed. Fabulous and deep insights delivered in an enjoyable way. I am looking forward to my next training course with the Corporate Governance Institute.

Every module is a great learning and can be used 1 to 1 in practice. Happy to recommend this course to every board member and becoming board members.

A real insight into how a board should work

Although I have some basic knowledge before starting the course, I still find it very interesting as it helps me to explore some seem-to-be familiar topics with a very thoroughful view points. If I have more time, I am sure that I will be sunk in so amazing things I would like to learn. So, it will depend on each person, the more time and dedication you spend on this course, the more interesting things you can absorb. That's the exceptional value the course provides you.

The course is very well structured and superbly supported.
I did the part time version and there was a lot of material and topics to cover. It has really help me get a different view on managing companies and ability to see the red flag and ask good questions.

I recently completed the CGI's Corporate Governance diploma. I found this experience extremely rewarding. The course exposed me and my cohort to leading minds in Corporate Governance whose experience and passion made it engaging and extremely informative. I have participated in the ESG course. It has given me lot of new knowledge about the history, terminology, planning and implementation of ESG and basic structural thinking within the subject. The course is intense and the tests are thorough and requires good preparation. The materials are well prepared and provides plenty of information and reading. I recommend this course to any professional who would like to have a thorough understanding how to integrate ESG into an organisation's everyday life. I have completed the ESG overview course. which met my expectations. The course enabled me to access information in a clear, succinct and easy to follow way. Additionally, I consider that the information available is relevant to understanding what ESG is, what it is about and to start building our thinking and approach on the topic.

I have attended a Corporate governance course recently . Not only I had excellent professors but also the other attendees came from very different backgrounds and with tons of experience which we could cross fertilize.
The institute was also very helpful and came my way when I requested an extension of time to take the exams due to personal strenuous circumstances.
