Where do I start...... im near the end of my iva, the company had been brilliant over the last 4 years, they used to handle all the payments and respond to emails and queries within a few days, I used to be able to call and discuss any issues with no issue at all,
But recently I had a promotion at work which worked out an extra 200 pounds a month, but doing the right think I kept TDRS in the loop with everything, they ended up tripling my monthly payment, will explain below.......
It all started a few months ago when they changed there payment system and I kept getting texts to make a payment which is fine which I did, I thought it was a one off, due to the system change but no.....every month since I have to manually pay each month, so the ease of having the iva and literally putting it in the back my head, I have panic each month and look out for the payment email,
Thats not even the main issue, it all started over my promotion and annual review,
On multiple times I've tried phoning TDRS and I don't know what the heck is going on, they seem to of switched there customer support centre to India, which normally isn't an issue, but the communication barrier is horrendous I spent hours trying to explain my case and to get answers why my monthly payment had trippled, (not blaming the call centre agent for this) i genuinely think the lady on the phone completely worked it out wrong as I had todo my review over the phone as I couldn't do the spreadsheet beings im dyslexic,
To top it off, the new payments are not affordable so I email for a settlement instead but the miss calculation from the agent from the call centre ended up doubling my settlement figure, so jumped from 600 pound to 1500,
I've had several emails to queries at TDRS and I cant sort this situation out,
I wanted to settle this before I officially started my new role as the new payments arnt affordable as no one would re do the assessment and help me,
I would and did recommend TDRS to everyone who I knew was struggling, but due to the lack of communication and changing the call centre to India its made it impossible to sort anything out,
I just wanted a my review re doing by someone who could understand me ( again not the agents fault) I just wanted to settle the original agreement amount as I never agreed to the new payment amount but apparently it's too late,
So I've gone from speaking nothing but highly of this company ,to now saying avoid at all costs, as you'll be on hold and arguing with a foreign call centre for hours, and not get any sense out of the emails

When I got my IVA I was at rock bottom, couldn’t afford a pint of milk. My Iva saved me and the debt resolution company were nothing but kind throughout payments were always reasonable I was able to complete my IVA within 4 years due to moving onto a higher paid job. Able to call and speak to anyone at any time I did not have one bad experience

After talking to many of these "specialists" who all just tried to sell me an IVA, even tried tried to pressure me to do it there and then, I luckily came across The Debt Resolution Service, who helped me and advised me to try a few different solutions before going down that route, in a nutshell, they seem to be the only genuine people out there. Recommended 👍

I am very happy my debt has been put into one monthly payment which has really helped me a lot and it's all thanks to Gary and Tony who has helped me through this. This is the best debt company that has been so helpful
A pleasure to deal with from the off
A pleasure to deal with from the off, made a difficult decision more understanding and guided me through the whole process, on the odd occasion where I knew my monthly repayment may be late they accommodated that without problem, only time I had an issue was when it come up to the anniversary date of the IVA commencing when they done the reviews, I started out on an affordable monthly repayment but the figures were based on my income during Covid and lockdowns etc so the following year when things were a bit more
“Normal” my month contributions were going to go up dramatically! This coincided with the cost of living crisis where all bills were going through the roof, So it just wasn’t visible to accept the repayment they proposed so I discussed my options with them and they went back to the creditors and negotiated a more realistic figure so my what Im saying here is talk to them, dont ignore it and default and end up with a failed IVA, they are very helpful, two years further down the line my personal circumstances changed for the worst with my health, I was having to cut back my work commitments due to this, my only option was to email them and say look I can’t continue with the IVA I will have to seek further advise and possibly file for bankruptcy but I spoke with an advisor called Gemma Harvey who was fantastic, really went above and beyond to help
Me, she told me to gather some evidence of my health conditions and explain why I cant continue paying the IVA and she would propose to my creditors that on health grounds that my IVA should end at this point in full
And final settlement and that my payments would stop from that day until the creditors meetings etc, so after about 2 months Gemma called me after the virtual creditors meeting and said they had voted in favour of ending my IVA as mark it as settled, so Its a great relief for me that its all over and I have no bad debts anymore and now I can focus on my health and financial recovery now I have a fresh start. Thanks Gemma, your a star

Brilliant can not fault them, made me feel ar ease and have helped me so so much, now I'm slowly getting debt free thanks to them, but still enjoying life too

Although I haven’t got the desired outcome for my early settlement offer, this has nothing to do with The Debt Resolution Service, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for more support. Jason, Gemma, Tom and others that have dealt with my queries and really took time to understand my position and attempt to resolve the matter with my desired outcome at the four front. Really appreciate the hard work and support and it’s a shame you will have to put up with me for at least another year
