The App advertises a free pizza for students. I am a student and I got my discount code for the free pizza and was told to show it at the counter on the app. The male serving said that its not a store policy and I had already placed an order. I arrived to collect a pizza which was already ready for only to be told that I could not have it. I believe this offer on the app is a scam and was very disappointed with the level of service this time.

Ordered a small hot honey pizza and banoffee cookie dough. I received a tiny 5" personal pizza with no hot honey sauce. The banana on the cookie dough is all black so obviously not fresh and no caramel sauce! Took over an hour for it to arrive!

The Fat Pizza – Braintree – Avoid
Ordered at 6:14pm with a delivery ETA of 6:45–7:00pm. By 7:15pm nothing had arrived. When I called, I was told it would be another 10 minutes. After waiting again, I called back and was told another 10 minutes.
I explained that I had three young children waiting for their evening meal, but I was still given no clear answer. I was offered a refund but was refused the opportunity to speak to a manager. I was told the manager was “in a meeting” and then leaving for the day.
Only at this point was I finally told there were no drivers available, meaning the delivery should never have been accepted in the first place. Because of this, I had to order food elsewhere to feed my children.
Despite being told delivery wasn’t possible, my original order still arrived around 8pm — and it was cold.
Very poor communication, misleading updates, and no proper resolution from the Braintree branch. Based on this experience, I will not be ordering again.

Absolutely amazing order the 24 inch for 3 of us half and half expected to wait 45 mins to an hour and came in 30 minutes not soggy pizza like some places and for the sheer size of it and the price was amazing and the pizza was absolutely beautiful will definitely be returning

I have just visited the opening of your Lincoln Branch and have to say my experience was fantastic.
The whole place is all brand spanking new, sparkling kitchen and fantastic customer service. Had a 1 minute wait on arrive for my order to be taken. Told my pizza would be ready in 10 minute and it was ready in exactly 10 minutes. Took it home (10 minute drive) and pizza was popping hot, beautiful crust and well loaded.
Absolutely delicious and will most definitely be ordering from here again. Great team you have in Lincoln full of enthusiasm and what an immaculate kitchen - all so well organised- congratulations!

After waiting an hour and a half the delivery driver rang because he couldn't find us. Couldn't speak English either so trying to explain where we are was almost impossible. The food was stone cold and the only warmth was in the congealed sauce on the Korean chicken so it all went straight in the bin. Rang the shop, girl sounded bored like it wasn't the first time she'd had complaints today and told me to email someone but she was mumbling and I couldn't work out who so I just hung up to save myself from bashing my head on the work top and fracturing my skull.
Rang head office, she wasn't much help either. Take photos of the food and they will have to collect it before a refund would be given. How are they going to tell the food is cold by a photo and they wanted the food back? It's in the bin, with all the used tea bags, the slop from yesterday's stew and other rubbish, as if I'm going in there to scrape off old tea leaves bits of veg and gravy and take photos.

Shut this place down!!! Terrible, pizza was burnt and chips i doubt went into a oven the picture doesn’t do them justice for how pale and uncooked they were, whole meal wasn’t edible and called again got new food and the chips were the exact same and pizza was cooked but tasted EXACTLY like a tesco fridge pizza. Don’t buy from here!!! Looks nothing like it says it does online!!!
Ordered for the first time last night
Ordered for the first time last night. First of all it took well over an hour for our food to arrive. When it did arrive it was delivered in a taxi. The driver when at our door was adamant we had not paid for our food. We told him several times we had paid by card when we ordered through the app. The whole time this was going on our food was going cold sat on my front doorstep. We tried to call the shop several times while having this discussion with the delivery driver and got no answer. Eventually the delivery driver said he would get the shop to call us if any issues. We finally sat down to eat our food but now it was stone cold. Food didn't taste great and the whole ordeal of the food taking well over an hour to arrive and the issue with the delivery driver and cold food really left a disappointing view of the whole situation. We did double check our bank account regarding argument with the delivery driver over payment and yes we had already paid as we explained several times to the driver. Not a great first experience with ordering from fat pizza.
DON'T BOTHER
Don't bother after 2 hours and 2 failed deliveries, phoned many times to chase order up. Fobbed off every time told food was 5 minutes away, 2 hours later still no food and they stopped responding to calls 20 minutes before restaurant closed, or hung up on us.

A Cautionary Tale - Do NOT Trust the Projection FiguresI am writing this review as a warning
I am writing this review as a stark warning to any potential franchisee considering TheFatPizza. My experience has been financially devastating, and the primary reason is the grossly misleading financial projection figures provided during the sales process.
The numbers presented to me painted a rosy picture of quick profitability and strong returns. In reality, these "projections" were a fantasy. The actual revenue and foot traffic have been a fraction of what was promised, making it impossible to meet overheads, let alone turn a profit.
I would strongly advise anyone looking to take on a FatPizza franchise to completely disregard the projection figures. They are not based on the reality of most locations and seem designed solely to sell franchises, not to set up new owners for success. Please, do your own deep, independent market research. Talk to current and former franchisees anonymously. My biggest mistake was trusting their numbers, and it's a mistake I will be paying for years.

Order went through incorrectly and there is no way to cancel on the app, when tried to call no answer at all. Then order never showed up and never refunded me after trying to call them for hours. Just took my money and ran, avoid at all costs complete scammers just trying to steal from you
