Recently I had a hole in one all attested by my golf club with full details on a certificate, Golfers Club would not pay the insurance siting ridiculous reasons that did not make sense. The insurance policy is a con!!

Simple process to complete

Post out arrived what else can I say.

I had a hole in one playing a matchplay competition sent a £200 bar receipt and a certificate from the golf club secretary. Golfers Club insurance would not accept my claim as they wanted an itemised bar receipt and a score card. For matchplay we have never used a score card and the bar manager was not able to give me individual 25 something receipts as my friends ordered their drink. I have wasted a lot of my time trying to get a resolution without success. This typical of the insurer worming its way out of paying out.

Offers what I need and no hassle in renewing

I had my first ever Hole in one in a recognised competition, when I claimed, twice, I didn't hear anything back.

They phoned me the next day and sorted out my many questions to give me the buggy insurance I needed. Insurance cover proof emailed to me so I could play the following day. Very happy.

As with any insurance, buying is the easy part. You can only really judge when things go wrong and you have to make a claim but as it stands we have the cover we need at the best price.

Easy to renew.

My insurance was due for renewal and on checking the cover, it fell short of my needs! I phoned and spoke with a member of staff who sorted everything out quickly and without any fuss! A great experience for me!

Incident happened 13th May 2022. Over 5 months later I am still waiting... Excuse has been waiting for police to confirm, despite me sending police incident number, photographs, invoices etc. E-mailed the insurance company 3 times - no response, Called twice (once on hold for over 3 hours with no answer!!).
Been with this company many years, however it is only when you have a claim that you can really tell whether you are wasting money or not!
Suggest anyone reviewing comments ignores any ratings relating to setting up the policies and concentrates on comments relating to claims!!

04/10/22 Still waiting, and for those interested - No they didn’t contact me.
31/10/22 Offered me 50% of the claim value. Their supplier claims they could provide them at this reduced price. Given that their supplier is a very common name (and not the cheapest), 50% is amazingly low. Besides, I would have missed the whole summer waiting for this. Offer rejected, still waiting for money.

Excellent easy renewal just what I needed

Great service and best insurance by far covers everything adequately so I can play golf rest assured I’m covered for the worse scenario
