I personally knew AJ (the founder) from a former job and thought that our history and the reputability of the people he was collaborating with would be helpful during my extended unemployment. I was hoping to be paired with many useful insiders and HR professionals who had some connections to a variety of important business sectors, instead what you pay $10K for are glorified cheerleaders with no greater ideas or support than to just help you in slightly tweaking your spam tactics of other professionals on LinkedIn. I was already doing 85% of what they offer anyway but I felt I could use some further support, insights, work with recruiters, during this insanely broken and dumb job market. Nope. Just weekly group pep talks with a bunch of strangers as we all share our mild wins of a “power chat” that almost went somewhere while all of us try to not simultaneously crack under the extended unemployment stress. The lady who worked on my profile page and resume really didn’t do much either. Really just supremely disappointing. Felt like they scammed me while I was at a weak and desperate point in my life. Please avoid. No added benefits. You can do everything they teach yourself without having to pay off some debtor quickly once you land on your feet.

I have been working with the Human Reach for several weeks now. Lynne completely revamped my resume, cover letter and LinkedIn profile. My resume is getting past screeners and my LinkedIn profile is getting noticed much more and it looks 10000% more professional, and I am only 1/2 through the program. I have no doubt that I will have a great job within 90 days.

I'm wrapping up my second week in the Career Amp program, and I've already noticed a real difference in my confidence. For a couple of months before joining, I felt lost and discouraged after submitting application after application, only hearing back from two or three companies—and none of those opportunities ultimately worked out. Now, with the tools, strategies, and support that Career Amp provides, I finally feel like I have a clear path forward. More importantly, I'm starting to believe that if I stay consistent, trust the process, and keep putting in the work, the right opportunity will come. A big thank you to my career coach, Clayton, for helping me rebuild my confidence and reminding me to trust in my experience and abilities. I'm excited to keep building momentum and see where this journey leads.

This "service" was a train wreck from the beginning!!! Within one week of "signing up" I requested a
refund as I didn't feel this program was a fit for me and as it turns out THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS A REFUND!!!!
I attempted on several occasions to "opt out" but to no avail was denied. The program's coaches (except Clayton Wert)
were somewhat helpful and pleasant to speak with. So, I could not "opt out" so I attempted to try make the best of my
$8K investment in myself!!! I went through the motions with the coaching and the "homework", followed the recipe they
provided for successful job placement which provided no positive results in 10 months!!!! This "service" did not provide
ANY job capturing assistance aside from some conversations and homework. There weren't any job leads or prospective employer
contacts, instead they provided a "blueprint" and "philosophies" for making contact with prospective employers and hiring managers.
I paid $8K for a couple coaching sessions and some useless information that didn't provide the results I WAS PROMISED by Valentina at
the very first meeting to discuss this product. I really feel like I've been taken advantage of, being preyed upon in one of the worst
situations I could be in, promising to help me dig myself out of this unemployment hole I was in and attaching an $8K
price tag to boot! WORST DECISION I'VE EVER MADE, BUYER BEWARE!!! ONE STAR IS ONE STAR TOO MANY!!!
Why would I want to waste MORE TIME?! I tried your program for over 10 months and NOTHING CHANGED!!! Except for the fact that I added more debt......there is nothing that can change how I feel about my experience with the human reach, it didn't help me, point blank, this falls on deaf ears as far as the human reach is concerned, I do not endorse your methods or ideology, all you did was stress me out further and take advantage with that ludicrous price tag for the "service"!

Partnering with The Human Reach has far exceeded my expectations. Their coaches brought deep expertise and thoughtful guidance, helping me refine my introduction, positioning statement, exit narrative, and SOAR stories with greater clarity, structure, and measurable impact. They also strengthened the effectiveness of my résumé, elevating both its precision and executive presence. Their support has been instrumental to the success of my job search.

The most valuable outcome wasn't a resume, LinkedIn profile, or cover letter—it was gaining a deeper understanding of who I am professionally. I believed I already had the tools and was prepared for interviews, but I lacked networking skills to find good opportunities. Clearly applying for jobs on the job boards doesn't work, so I joined Career Amp to learn how to "side door" into opportunities. However, the team helped me build far better tools (Resume / LinkedIn profile) and better prepare for interviews. These tools resonated with those looking for top candidates, and I was found by an internal recruiter leading to an offer in a role I've wanted but had never been previously offered. Along the way, my LinkedIn profile caught the eye of an executive recruiter, and I was invited to interview for a role/level (SVP) above anything I had done before that would have reported to an EVP. I'm sure the process would have worked even better and faster had I fully engaged in the "side door" method, but the point is: Career Amp works for you and not your prior employer. So, they help you figure out who you really are and prepare you to confidently reach for something better.

The best interview coaching I have ever had in my career came from Clayton Wert. He is Head of Coaching for a company called The Human Reach. I wish every single determined person applying for jobs had access to his expertise and feedback. What a privilege to have him coach me! No more guessing, wondering, struggling!

Worse 7 thousand dollars I’ve ever spent. This company offered meagre guidance and support for re-routing my career or providing any tangible options. It’s essentially a resume and cover letter re-writing service dressed up as a business that will work with you until you land a job. I did land a job, but it was thanks to my diligence of continuing to send out messages and write my own job apps. Human reach just considered themselves a glorified partner in the act. What took place was frankly sinister. They prey on people who had successful careers and have capital to spend in landing their perfect role. Ya I guess the side door method (messaging people on LinkedIn) is cool, but is sharing that as what you should do worth 7k really? Also they sold me on the help of AI. Then I join and all they have is this measly tool called dripify or something that automates connection requests. It was a far cry from an AI mastermind experience. Anyways, bottom line. If you’re thinking about this, don’t do it. It’s simply not worth the return.

The people who have worked with me are all super supportive and positive. When you are facing uncertainty, it is great to have a positive team to support and encourage your career searching journey. They have helped me considerably.

The resume, cover letter and LinkedIn update process was fantastic! The initial response time, connects, turnaround time was phenomenal. The final version of these artifacts - resume, cover letter and LinkedIn update were very professional, amazing and is not something that I could have achieved, no matter how much time I had.

The Human Reach, AJ Mizes, Career Amp and the entire team is world-class. I can't say enough how much this program has been a lifesaver for me in so many ways. Not only did I land a job quickly, but the process was so well spelled out and easy to follow...and the coaching team just 'gets it'.

I also want to say I recognize some of the names from the 1 star reviews, and let me tell you, these people were...interesting...to say the least when we would be on group coaching. The process to work with Career Amp takes 'two to tango' and if you don't put in the work and you aren't willing to show up for yourself...or if you show up as a 'victim' in the process and think that joining Career Amp is a magic easy button, it will not work for you.

The company has done nothing outside of taking money upfront, then conducting 3 measly 1:1 calls where the "coaches" just asked questions, did not provide any guidance, and basically let the time bleed without any output. They literally have nothing valuable to say whether it's in one-on-one calls or in the group sessions. They have cookie cutter self-reflection forms that no one really looks at or provides any means of improvement. No mock interviews, no knowledge of your area of expertise. Just fluff and a pushy sales team that Prey on people struggling to land the next role.

The CareerAmp program has been incredibly impactful for me, especially during a challenging period. It helped me regain positive energy and confidence, and gave me a renewed sense of direction and hope for the future.

One of the most valuable aspects has been the support system—it encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone, actively build my network, and approach opportunities with greater courage. I’ve also gained practical skills and a more structured way to navigate my career journey.

Overall, CareerAmp didn’t just provide tools—it helped shift my mindset to be more optimistic, proactive, and confident about what’s ahead.

I found the experience to be very helpful in my next career journey. The coaching was extremely helpful, especially the mock interview. The energy remains very positive as you go through something that can be very scary and the support is impeccable.

AJ is amazing! I made a total career change pretty recently, after working in the hospital for almost 30 years. AJ's knowledge, feedback, & listening ear have been invaluable. He's so intuitive as to what needs to be done next, especially for someone who was wading into very foreign waters. I've been able to pursue opportunities that aligned with both my goals and my values using his advice/guidance along this new career path. If you’re a professional or executive looking for a career coach who delivers real results, I highly recommend working with him & his team.

Five stars. Honestly, if I’d known The Human Reach coaching was this effective, I would’ve stopped “networking” with my cat and hired these guys years ago.
I came to them with a short-term goal of finally getting a seat at the big-kid table (VP level). Not only did I land the role in record time, but I also secured a salary bump that finally justifies my expensive coffee habit.
As for long-term career growth, they didn’t just give me a fish; they gave me a high-tech sonar system and a yacht. We mapped out a five-year leadership roadmap that actually feels doable, not just like a collection of buzzwords. I’ve transitioned from "stressed middle manager" to "visionary leader who knows what a KPI is."
If you want a career coach who will tell you your resume looks "nice," go elsewhere. If you want someone to help you exceed your professional goals and turn you into the corporate powerhouse your LinkedIn profile claims you are, this is the place.

I hate that I waited so long!

Unemployed for 9 months, I joined THR, then landed a job based on my past experience, not the progressive role I sought to advance my career, which was the reason for me joining THR. Relieved of job hunting and content to simply be working again, I stepped away from the THR program, despite their efforts to keep me engaged. A year passed, again Yeneba reached out for me to complete my career profile. But only this time it aligned with my contract ending. Ugh, job hunting again...In less than two weeks my LinkedIn profile is sparkling like gems in a well light display case. My resume lists my achievements so that hiring managers and myself can easily make reference during conversation. (In the past during an interview, I was literally told, "you have a lot of stuff on your resume. What do you want to tell me about your experience? The result, not hiried.) Thanks to Yeneba, I can now formulate my stories based on the impact I've made across multiple teams, many projects, and multiple roles, all that qualify me to deliver in the role that I seek. I say to you, don't let the grass grow around your feet. Once you join stay in the race, to and through the finish line. THR will definitely provide the tools and clarity to help you succeed.

THR's program is exceptional. It establishes a logical flow to the hiring process that breaks down the path to success across 8+ milestones, from initial goal-setting to resume and cover letter reviews, interview techniques and story prep to negotiating offers. Every team member on Clayton's team is aligned to putting each person first and listening to their respective issues, opportunities and supporting them along the way. Glad I made this decision to invest in myself and my professional career. Without this program to guide, nudge, and engage me through weekly calls I'm certain that my search would have been a prolonged one.
