Love the program and the approach based on dog psychology vs pure training. Simple 5 rules. Do not like the constant sales/ upgrade/ etc. That pop up all the time even when you purchased the program and while doing the program. Very annoying.

Had dogs for years and have learned by trial and error. I have similar views on training as Doggy Dan so as I had a couple of issues decided to give him a try. I have only been using his method a few days and the changes are there. We are sticking rigidly to the '5 golden rules' and controlling the food is a game changer. I only have rescue dogs so most come with baggage and over the years I have tried different things for different problems but none have produced the results like now. I cannot recommend Doggy Dan highly enough. The key is consistency from all family members and persistence. Its usual to say, don't expect changes over night but this is as close the that as you will get.

Just after 3 days of doing less than I've done so far, I've got a completely changed dog. You have to be nuts to read all these reviews and not to enroll.

I have 2 large dogs that fight on occasion and recently with one needing stitches. In the last week with just implementing the 5 golden rules (not perfectly yet), we have noticed a huge shift already in the male dog who is extremely reactive to everything and anything. I can’t wait to dive in deeper! Thanks Doggy Dan!

I’ve noticed a huge difference in my Cavoodle. She is calmer and doesn’t jump up on me when I return home anymore and that’s just after a week.

I haven’t finished the course yet but so far I really like it and I am seeing small improvements in my dog.

10 days into Doggy Dan’s Dog Calming Code training program and I am amazed at how quickly my 6 year old Pointer mix has responded. While some of the Rules are more difficult to assimilate than others, when combined together they make so much sense. Looking forward to taking advantage of all the content and resources offered to ultimately attain a calm, relaxed, and rewarding bond with my pup.

I’ve noticed a difference in Toffi (3 & 1/2 year old Cavoodle) in the first week - calmer, less barking & much more chilled. I’m also much calmer & have forgiven myself for the odd slip up - usually happens when I’m in a hurry!

We have a rehomed Papillion who would like to rule the roost. However the application of the 5 Golden Rules have made it clear who is in charge. As a result we have a happier wee dog. Definitely recommend Doggie Dan for everyone.

I am less than a week into the program, and am already seeing positive results! My dog, Juniper, is a 3 year old, very high energy, very reactive mix rescue. She & I have been in a social training group with a locally renowned trainer off & on for 2 & a half years, and 2 weeks ago, near the end of a very successful session, we were kicked out of class...and ALL FUTURE CLASSES...when Juniper lunged out at one of the other high energy dogs. No harm was intended, & no harm ensued, but regardless, we are no longer welcome. This brought me to Doggy Dan & the Dog Calming Code, and everything makes sense! Since a 3 month old pup, Juniper selected my husband as pack leader & demoted me to 'litter mate', & try as I might, I have never been able to successfully promote myself to pack leader. Since we began this program, I have more confidence & Juniper is responding to me with more respect. She is like a new dog! She's not perfect, and we have a long way to go, and any setbacks we have are rather my fault than hers, as I'm most likely to mess up with Rule #4. I love giving my dog attention, and when she seeks it, it makes me happy, but I'm trying hard to ignore & protect my space in these instances, at least for a brief time, before I invite her over on my terms for the attention & affection we both love. I have noticed a great improvement just after 3 days. Layla(Pitbull mix) is responding to the training in leaps and bounds. Doggy Dan's methods are easy to follow and we can't believe the difference in Layla's demeanor. Thank you so much, Doggy Dan. I will definitely recommend your course to all my doggy friends.

About a week in and my two 2 year old working cocker spaniels have calmed down massively already!. I only wish I had found this training when I first had them!

We adopted a 5 month old mixed breed who has been a handful — certainly more energy, stubbornness, and mouthy behavior than other dogs we’ve adopted (aside from one) at about that same age. We were working on a couple styles of training: a traditional method using treats, and a less traditional method using only praise and calmness. We were having little success when I came across Doggy Dan. After implementing his first 5 rules associated with dog psychology and understanding the Wolf Pack system, we definitely noticed progress within the first few days, and continue to see improvement. It’s still early on and we have a ways to go regarding her more difficult behaviors, but this is the first time we feel confident that we will, sooner than later, have our own healthy Wolf Pack — one that supports a balanced way of living together and includes fun and affection. Kudos to Doggy Dan!

Loving the course I am doing. Everything makes sense and my reactive hyper German Shepherd is already responding and getting calmer even after 2 days. Thank you Dan 🙂

The way you break things down works.
I was desperate 2 years ago in hospital thinking what else can I do with a collie that barks for attention a lot. A dog that has good walks on lead and sniff work. Has toys she works out how to find treats.
Then went into Doggy Dan and worked through each section.
By the time I was home I could then put what I had learned into practice.
I still use them when I need to.

I tried the loving leadership approach, and my Dogo Argentino girl has blossomed from it! It's built our trust in each other, and created a strong bond. I can't tell you how thankful I am!

On thursday i started the first 3 of 5 golden rules. I implemented them immediately. I listened/ watched the remaining 2 on Friday. There is already a shift in the pack status. My 2 dogs are barking less. The GS who is extremely reactive to all noises and all dogs and constantly ( i mean constantly, all day) bringing his toys and barking to go out for us to play with him. Well, he is accepting the time out and already leaving off bringing his toys & barking. I cannt believe how fast this is working. Obviously, we need to continue and be consistent but already its made a difference. I look forward to the coming months and progressing with all 5 rules. I will then look at purchasing the reactivity lessons. Thank you. This training (mine not the dogs) has made so much sense.
