Wonderful service, as always! Ever since finding them they are the only gallery for me.

Very helpful and would fully recommend

If I could give this gallery zero stars, I would. On Sunday I placed an order for a picture that was listed as available and paid £750 in good faith.

Shortly afterwards, I received an email saying: “I’m not sure how this went through, but it is sold out and says this on our site, see below (screenshot of website showing item, with big yellow circle around ‘sold out’). We are unable to fulfil your order and have cancelled the transaction.”

My frustration isn’t that the item was unavailable, as mistakes do happen. What matters is how they’re handled. Instead of a straightforward apology, the message made me feel at fault for their error. That impression was reinforced when I phoned the owner, who sent the email, and was told that “people can add their own tones to emails.”

A simple “sorry, we made a mistake” would have gone a long way. Instead, what has stayed with me and will stop me from trying to buy from the gallery again wasn’t the cancellation itself, but the lack of accountability. It’s disappointing to feel blamed rather than valued as a customer.

This gallery provides the best customer service I have ever experienced. The communication was second to none—they were incredibly helpful when I needed to make a change, and nothing was too much trouble. It was so refreshing to deal with genuine, authentic people rather than just salespeople. A truly outstanding experience!

Excellent as always! Delivery arrived on time, well packaged. Friendly and easy to deal with update given for when to expect the delivery.

Ben was extremely helpful sourcing the two paintings we were after. Went extra mile in helping to wrap one of the paintings in birthday paper making a far better job than I could have.
Have used a well known Manchester dealer previously, they wanted £150 deposit just to get the painting for us to look at. The additional 1 hour travel to deal with Ben was well worth it.

Have used Riverside a number of times now and they provide a 1st class service. No issues getting the paintings over to the USA and always arriving on time and packed so there is no chance of damage. I would fully recommend their service.
